Booked a cruise & what started as very positive soon turned extremely negative as the original agent who we had dealt with (he was very helpful & knowledgeable) had left and it felt that no-one was willing or capable of progressing our booking (we needed transfers + hotels arranging for before & after our cruise). There were so many mistakes with our itinerary + poor customer service that we felt compelled to cancel our booking as we had completely lost faith in them. Very disappointed to do so as the cruise had been booked well in advance to celebrate a special occasion.

Having had a positive experience in booking an extended holiday over 14 months ago, when the original agent left, our experience turned to extremely negative resulting in cancellation of this long anticipated fabulous holiday we had planned. Luckily we arranged a similar holiday elsewhere with an alternative travel agent and with a huge cost saving!

Good face to face engagement over the desk. Clear and informative guidance on the destination and travel arrangements. Willingness to seek best price options. Sensitivity to the needs of the customer and a commitment to delivery inspires confidence.

I took a list of preferences in to the Hexham office and Karen produced a bespoke package visiting three Spanish cities most efficiently.
She had plenty of patience and was knowledgeable and helpful throughout.

Hexham Hays staff are amazing, they always go above and beyond to help. Karen had found some alternatives for us to consider, however she was off on the day we booked, but she had left all info with Tom. We eventually chose a different cruise with Tom's help and now all booked. Karen even when off checked via text if everything was sorted. Amazing service as always.

It’s been over 25 years that I have used a travel agent and I was sceptical about being ripped off but the price was great.
