I've never ordered a cosplay costume before, but I am attending Comicon for the first time in a couple weeks. I scoured the internet looking for the costume I wanted, but all of them are made overseas, and I had a bad experience in the past with paying for express shipping and not getting my goods for a month. I emailed hellocosplay and asked if there was ANY WAY I could get the costume before January 6th. I received an email that this would not be a problem, and I received the costume within 5 days!
Their site says costume making time can take up to two weeks, so I know they went out of their way to make sure I got this FAST. I am totally blown away and will purchase all my future cosplay materials from them.

It's actually been 8 months since I've bought this cosplay and it is the best cosplay site that I've ever bought from! They are a great site because you can either choose from specific sizes such as small, medium or large and if you aren't too keen or nervous if any of those sizes can't fit you then you are able to get them custom made. I was nervous at first about putting my exact measurements in case it wasn't going to fit for my convention, so as a precaution I put an extra 2-3cm on to my normal measurements. Although keeping in mind that at my own expense about 6 months later I went to get it tailored so I could grow into my cosplay (I'm a teenager as well) and they really didn't have to take much off it. The cosplay that I purchased off Hello Cosplay was the 'Vampire Knight - Yuki Cross, Day Class uniform', 'Yuki Cross bracelet', and the "Yuki Cross necklace". In total it costed approximately $145 Australian dollars (including postage and handling) and I would say it is definitely worth the price. The entire cosplay was worth the price, however one thing that I was a bit scared of was the white shirt as it was made of a very thin fabric. Easily I just wore a white undershirt underneath and the cosplay was complete. In terms of postage and shipping it was excellent! I ordered it on a Friday and it arrived just over a week later and remembering that it was standard shipping from China. Don't worry too much about shipping as it came with tracking, it gives you a peace of mind, and are able to see where it is while the package is travelling. The packaging for the clothes were really good. I have to say that all of the clothes were secure and nothing was damaged at all in the postage. To be honest, my parents are not one for buying online, in fact they avoid it as much as possible, however after we tried Hellocosplay it sort of eased their fears of buying online just a little bit. I would definitely buy from them again, although don't trust my word on commissions because so far I haven't commissioned anything yet. So if you do commission, commission at your own risk. All in all I think that this is a great site to buy your cosplay if you're a first time cosplayer. I am aware that it is a bit more expensive on their site from what I've checked now, although really you get what you pay for and also let's be real guys, cosplay is a very expensive hobby, so in the long run it's worth it if you take the time and dedication to make it look right. I'm a noob cosplayer that went to my very first convention, and went in my very first cosplay. I spent an entire year taking my time with the cosplay and in the end it turned out great! So many people asked me for photos and I was actually told my first cosplay looked really good for a beginner. I have to say that there is nothing negative about them from what I've seen so far, but if there is I guess you can't blame them. People make mistakes, it's only those who continue to make those mistakes and don't try harder are the ones you don't buy from.

I ordered my cosplay (Bleach's Ichigo in his Bankai form) last week (21/09/15) and it arrived 9 days later on the 30/09.

I am amazed with this as with it being Halloween I expected some delay but 9 days is phenomenally fast (from China too).
I had also ordered a custom size (because I'm short, yet a total fat-a*se) and the tailored fit is unbelievably good.

Unfortunately (and I expect due to the speed of the build) there are a couple of mistakes, firstly the sash is missing from the bundle (no biggy as I can source one locally) and secondly they didn't continue the white trim all the way up the Kimino/Jacket which makes the costume look a bit odd, but overall for the price I paid £60 all in, I am VERY happy with the service and will definitely be using them again.

I ordered recently off the company and the order went through without a problem, waited patiently and the item was "Sent Out" according to the order history, so I tracked it and it was on its way. It just arrived in the post today and the quality is very high, exactly as I ordered and above standard that I would expect with what I paid!

Lovely company, will do business with them again!

They're a terrible company. I suggest that if you encounter a problem with them to get PayPal involved and push for them to make a full inquiry. I helped pay for a costume for a friend and because we made an agreement for a refund via email, we didn't escalate the complaint in paypal. We waited months after and they are now playing ignorant, claiming they were never paid. This is after we were sent a really badly made item which we documented with photographs. This lead to their agreement to refund us.

Now, their reasoning behind not refunding us was that they claim the paypal status says "reversal", which PayPal had confirmed to be the removal of the hold on my payment to their account had been raised and it was deposited to them after I had gave them a call. And again, despite PayPal confirming that I did pay and hello cosplay had received the money, their so called "finance department" says it was never received AND that I had already been refunded because it stated "Reversal". I had supplied proof, screencaps, called PayPal several times to confirm, and hello cosplay refuses to admit that they were wrong and I had never been refunded. In fact, when we suggest that they call PayPal to confirm our information, they outright ignored and refused the suggestion.

There are other cosplay sellers out there with better reputation and do not have a record of misconduct, which you can find in various cosplay community boards, and have better customer service. Do not risk this one unless you're buying something super simple like a school girl outfit. It's not worth the headache and they are severely overpriced for the quality of work they do. You're best off commissioning a local crafter or learning to sew yourself than deal with this company.

This was my first order from Hello Cosplay. I purchased a Ciel Phantomhive cosplay and am super happy with it. I really made sure my measurements were correct then added about 1.5 inches extra just to make sure everything fit. I'm happy I did because the shorts would have been too small to zip had I not. Turn around time was really quick, I ordered last Monday and received it with 7 days. I'm not sure how they made/shipped it so quickly but it's impressive. I did choose the 20.00 DHL shipping and I live in the Seattle area. Fabric quality is great, sewing is well done, I feel I can wear it for a long period of time and it won't rip. The white button up undershirt is slightly small and snug in the arms however, I do have larger arms and could have noted that when I placed my order (next order I will add that measurement)
I was worried the about the socks not fitting (I have 15" muscular calves, and to my surprise, those fit really well!

Overall I'm happy with my purchase, I feel the price I paid was totally worth it. I'm excited to cosplay as Ciel, and will definitely do business with Hello Cosplay again!

So this was my first time ordering from hellocosplay, I notice a mixed up after I place my order with the address having mixed up the address by mistake but that was fixed quickly by they customer service.

The hardest part of it all was the wait but as they site stated all the items were made in the time span they mention. The shipping was wonderfuly as well it got here safely in a timely manner.

Everything fits perfectly, and because of this I will order again from them in the future.

In the second week of April, I ordered a Revolutionary Girl Utena Cosplay Utena Tenjou Sword Prop through Hello Cosplay, which was listed as having a making time of 7-10 days. When there was no notification of shipment after this time period, I contacted the seller and inquired about the status of my order. They emailed me back a few days later and apologized for the delay, stating that it would not be completed until around the first of May. True to their word, the package shipped out in the first week of May and arrived a few days later. The jewel set in the sword was a little loose but held together otherwise. In spite of the delay, I was satisfied with the overall quality of the product and the customer service I received.

I ordered a modified version of an Evangelion helmet and they made and sent it very quickly. It is perfect and solid. Only one small piece got slightly damaged in the post but easily fixed. Was wrapped and boxed very well. The materials are all quality and the email team was great. Replied quickly and super helpful. Would order again !
Postage time to Australia was very quick, only 5 days including the weekend!

I ordered a Kumagawa Cosplay outfit which arrived at my doorstep on the 10th day (which may vary depending on your order, seeing as my costume was relatively simple).

Generally, I have had issues with ordering clothes that fit me online. However, this outfit fits perfectly, the material is of quality, and the stitching is clean.

For those who do not wish to make their own outfit or lack the capability to do so, I recommend this company to anyone wishing to order this specific outfit.

Recently ordered a Ashbringer sword and I needed to explain that I needed the sword asap due to expo on 23rd of may. The person I spoke to was very polite and understanding. Safe to say I'm extremely excited in receiving the sword as it looks amazing \m/(^_^)\m/

I ordered a piece of a cosplay here.
The seller made a huge mistake and sended it with a wrong name. I had to sign to receive the package but because the name wasn't correct I couldn't receive this package so they sended it back. I mailed the seller to inform him of what happened and asked if he could send it again with the correct name so I could receive it or the give me a refund. He refused both so I started a dispute on paypal he just laughed and said there was nothing I could do and he would always win... SO NEVER BUY FROM THIS SELLER HE LITTERALLY STEALS YOUR MONEY!!!!

I ordered a cosplay of Yuzuki Yukari a while back. The outfit they offered consisted of everything but the wig and some ornaments. This was the first time I had ordered a cosplay online before so I was nervous about what state it would arrive in. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the outcome.

Before placing my order I had emailed them asking if I could have more pictures of the cosplay, in which the replied by the next day saying that it was a custom order, so unfortunately they could't provide them. Once I had placed my order, they sent me back an email pointing out a mistake I had made in my measurements - very helpful considering that the outcome could have been disastrous if they had made it to the faulty sizes I had accidentally provided them with.
Secondly, I asked if they could make it and send it out ASAP as my con was coming up soon. My parcel arrived in under a week!

- The quality of the cosplay was mostly good, the dress was soft, and the hoodie was well made! However, the patterns on the back of the hoodie seemed to be rushed, with dodgy and uneven sewing (which I mostly blamed on how fast I wanted the order so...).
- In addition, the hoodie seems to be a different material from the image (which I won't complain about since I prefer the material I received better). There were also slight differences from the picture shown and the real thing (different material for pattern, no drawstrings)
- The stitching of the thigh highs was poor as they begun to undo themselves while I was wearing them.

Overall I was very satisfied with my purchase and the customer service. The cosplay was comfy (albeit a little tight) and it was sent out to me in a surprisingly fast time, the only thing I disliked was the poor stitching in some places.

I ordered at the 17.01, a wig and an Alice Madness Returns Cosplay (the blue dress), after nearly a week, there was the status procressing for my order, and because of some bad reviews here i got a little bit scared.
But i emaild hellocosplay and asked for my order with the pleasure that the packet shouled arrive before the 06.02. at the next day they worte back and answered all my questions. They didn't answered only in englisch they also tried to answer in my mother tounge (german,, was not perfect but my englisch isn't too :) ).
So today(30.01.) my packet arrived. and the dress fits perfect! Its not too long or too short. the cloth is comfortable at the skin.
Along with the wig was not only the wig in the packet i get an "underwearhood" (i really don't know the englisch word for it xD)

I ordered once and it was brilliant - fast shipping good quality - but i ordered the wrong size. My mistake so I ordered another thinking it was so fast and smooth last time.

They sat on the order for TWO WEEKS. These were off the rack sizes, not custom made. I had an event and just assumed they had shipped it - they had not. When I asked on the Monday to please ship my response was "we'll send it wednesday"...the event was the coming saturday! It took 3 days last time (which was impressive) Then they sent a series of confusing e-mails asking if i wanted it altered - NO i just need it now!! Then said they would ship wednesday no matter how long they had actually sat on the ordern and refused to ship right away when i asked repeatly - fine whatever just send it. If it took three days as before I would get it just in time...

After all that they DID NOT ship on the date they said. It was shipped THURSDAY according to DHL and would not arrive until monday...when it would be useless. I am so devastated. They lied about when they would ship - this is the bottom line. They offered a discount but frankly I said in my order I needed it by a certain date and they did not deliver. Very upset and dissapointed.

Edit: To their credit the company appologised and took responisbility for the delay - poor communication on their end between the factory and customer service. If they had only explained what happened in the original e-mails I wouldn't of been so upset and could of worked the issue out.

They were very polite but this doesn't really help me now. If they could not ship wednesday they still should of just said. As i said before I could not fault the quality - the costumes are very well made but keep on top of the order if you require by a deadline.

I always buy most of my cosplay for this site its really good quality and I always get a response If in 2 days if I leave a message, I must have bought about 6 cosplays from this site and always order my shoes here as they always fit me perfectly 5* great products, get cosplays made on time, fit perfectly and extreemly fast and reliable shipping, I have reccomended this site to loads of my new friends Im extreemly happy with this cosplay site ^^

I would definitely recommend HelloCosplay to anyone looking to cosplay. This was my first cosplay and i was nervous about it. They are so nice and the costume is great quality and they were helpful when i requested to have shoes made for it. The costume arrived a few days after it was shipped and the packaging was neat, the outfit folded nicely and the boots were wrapped nice as well! I will be buying from them again in the future! Wonderful job! : D

When I first ordered from Hello Cosplay, I have to admit that I was extremely nervous as I've never dealt with them before. Once I got my coat in the mail, however, I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. The quality of the material exceeded my expectations and the cut was spot-on.

To put it simply, what they delivered was PRECISELY what they promised, and in a VERY reasonable time. I look forward to doing business with Hello Cosplay again in the future.

Really bad quality. I ordered a kuroko no basuke cosplay and the sport bag and the number and the writing on the top were unequal. Also the sport bag wasn't made from the same materials as the pictures...
Really disaponted with this shop...
I sended an mail and they never answer it I don't know if is because they never got it but this was on February and I have never use this product because of its bad quality.
I decided that I had to tell the people to be careful with this shop.
