I bought many heaters for my downstairs fitness room. Unfortunately, I have not figured out a way to have them on a timer where they automatically turn off after a certain period of time. We’ve had several instances where they got accidentally turned on and were left on for over 24 hours. I tried contacting the company several times via email calling and chat and no one’s ever gotten back to me. It’s very dangerous when the heaters go on and don’t turn off automatically.

It's a lovely looking thing and easy to assemble. However we were a bit worried about all the instructions where not to place the heater, and the cable is so short we haven't used it much.

We've had full infrared heating throughout for eighteen months, and are very pleased with the result; and the initial advice, technical help and other support are excellent.
However, the light showing that my under-desk heater's on has just failed, on a replacements that's only about two months old! The first one lasted a few months longer than that. We also had to replace a large heater on the ceiling, that just stopped working after about a year (during much of which the heating was off, in summer). The heaters hadn't been knocked or otherwise damaged physically. Replacement was not problem, apart from hassle waiting in for deliveries, and a cold house meanwhile.
So while we love the system in theory, we're not very impressed with the build quality and reliability.

Instructions for pairing thermostat and receiver do not work. Scanned the QR code to view the video instructions - it is a broken link. Visited the Herschel website to phone them - phone number not working. Interacted with the chatbot to ask for help - nobody on the other end.
So - quick to post the item but zero support available for a technical query.

Sales person was very helpful over the phone - the installation was very easy and had easy to follow instructions

The heater is great, takes approximately a few minutes to heat to temperature but the temperature is very comfortable

The app control is very helpful - my suggestion would be to brighten the light slightly as it isn’t as bright as anticipated - that being said, it still works a treat and is very user friendly

I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a low running cost bathroom heater that looks the part.

5th IR panel and 3rd thermostat and very happy to continue replacing more heating in other rooms of the house. Great product, speedy delivery, easy set-up and with Tuya support it's a doddle to control with my Home Assistant set-up.

one minor remark ; last panel came with different tape attached to the metal baseplate and was a pain to remove , ended up using isopropanol and acetone. Please use different tape next time

Friendly and supportive service team who helped complete a return and refund for the portable 500 W Infrared panel. Whilst the product was good, we found that it just was not suitable for our living space plus more expensive to heat a small area with electricity than the whole living room via the (gas-fueled) radiators. It took some repeated explanations to them that we understood the panel is not intended to heat the whole living room, but they agreed on the refund. Overall, great service and good product (just not for us).

We have a Herschel infrared heater in our garden office. It works incredibly well. It hangs off the ceiling to save wall space. We love it.
We had an issue with it after about 3.5 years though. The Herschell Support team dealt with the issue efficiently and sent a replacement. The interaction with the support team was very good and they managed to resolve the issue to my satisfaction.
I can highly recommend Herschel.

Awesome service and quick delivery when I called them making a request. This is my second pendant ceiling heater from them - I sold my previous house and the buyer wanted it so I bought another for the new house! Toasty and warm whatever the weather outside

I have recently replaced Fischer bathroom heaters with Herschel infrared heaters. I wish that I had known about Herschel as I wouldn't have wasted my money on Fischer. I'll be replacing other heaters with the slick, aesthetically pleasing and highly efficient infrared products.

Relatively easy to assemble and heats the area I use well.

My thermostat control does not work and I am now waiting for a response to find out if a replacement will be sent.
I can use the panel by manual control but I need the thermostat to be replaced

Our Heater was installed by our electrician almost as soon as it arrived.
We noticed a faint large mark on it !
I immediately took pictures and sent them to you. The reply I got was to say it was not on there when it left your factory. Not happy with this customer service. Almost saying we had done it and felt we were lying….
I was told eventually that we could send it back for inspection! Was all too much hassle and eventually gave up with it.
Very unhappy and unhelpful service… L Dimmock
