Unpleasant Click and Collect Experience
I asked about my order and thought it was a collect in store if in stock option, they stated it doesn’t work that way. When I asked why I couldn’t they just said it’s policy.
Whilst I was talking to them they were doing other things instead of giving me their undivided attention which I found very unprofessional.
Whilst I understood the point, I was angry at the way they spoke and how they didn’t show any empathy. It was evident that they were not interested in talking to me and to “just deal with it”
So not only did I think their attitude toward the conversation was unprofessional, I found it to be unempathetic and quite rude at times.
My order consisted of multiple items which all came on different days which meant I kept going back and forth and even then the store workers displayed the consistent unprofessionalism and rudeness.
There was only one store assistant who actually was very respectful and had very good customer service skills. I didn’t catch his name but it was surprising to see how one attendant has such great customer service skills whilst the others seemed not to be of the same standard.
Overall, very unpleasant experience.

Store was well laid out, tidy and the staff member who dealt with my click and collect was friendly, professional and efficient - Southampton store is an absolute credit, and it's so great to have a HMV back on our high Street!

I recently lost my mother
I recently lost my mother, at a great age of 98. And she served in the WW2 on radar plotting planes throughout the campaign and battle of Britain. I ordered an old film that she appears in called Angels one five.

On line purchase not right for me
I was not aware of the exact timescale and how complicated it would be, to just save £2 on this purchase. When I went to try and purchase an identical box set in the shop that I was due to collect the one I had ordered from online, I was told that would not be possible. I won't be planning to use HMV online again. Just easier to go to the shop and buy it over the counter for me.

Friendly staff
Had to order in-store a game for my son as he had gift cards to use. Simple process in store, friendly staff and received the game in 2 days at home.
