Beautiful building but we feel the owners are riding on the back of what it has been used for, charging expensive rates when some of the building/rooms are tired and in need of attention. Flower pots without flowers etc.,Staff however were excellent going over and above what is expected. The lady assisting with our daughters wedding, Tracy was exceptional can’t say much for the wedding planner as we never met and saw her on the day or the day before.
The food was very nice but all the meals we had for the two days we were there came aired not hot. We felt there was not enough catering staff for the wedding breakfast (only 60 guest) the top table had finished well in advance of the last three tables getting served. We should have all been served at the same time or they’re about. It was a beautiful day with a lovely setting for a wedding but that is what you are paying for.

We had a fantastic wedding day at Holdsworth House and it was everything we could have wished for. The staff were friendly and courteous throughout and nothing seemed too much trouble. After we were married and returned to our room we even found a bottle of champagne, chocolates and rose petals on our bed waiting for us. Cant speak highly enough about this venue, the food and their staff, very highly recommended.
