Holiday Inn Lübeck

Vi havde booket en suit, men hotellet valgte at nedgradere os til 2 standardværelser uden at informere os. Først da vi klagede fik vi en del af vores betaling retur. Deres værelser er af meget ringe kvalitet, varme, larmende og med en underlig lugt.

Morgenmaden kan heller ikke anbefales. Mange mennesker, kaotisk og med under standard mad.

Find et andet hotel, hvis du kan.

I was very disappointed that you had NO DOG free rooms ....dogs should be kept on the ground level only. ..when we booked we asked for a dog free room..and they said it will be available and to ask at reception...this certainly wasn't the case at Droitwich....all rooms allow dogs....look forward to your reply

We recently stayed overnight at…one night stay

We recently stayed overnight at Holliday Inn , Poole in Dorset . We received a warm welcome at reception & keys to our first floor room , it was very roomy , everything we needed especially the Cool air conditioned room was so good to walk into after our 4 hr drive in 32’ heat 🤗. We took a slow walk into the nearby harbour for a meal & a stroll & caught a taxi back , Slept really well , up early next morning for an exceptional breakfast so fresh , clean and very well organised it was so busy , so thankyou we will be back

We stayed at the Holiday Inn express ‌Leicester,‌‌ LE2 7FLat…

We stayed at the Holiday Inn express at Filbert Way Leicester. Fortunately, it was only the one night, my Brother and I both had a room each.
Unfortunatly, the sign at reception stated "No Air conditioning". This effected the whole hotel, the temperature was very hot, we had a fan in the room, not really what you expect for the money charged. There was no evening dinning other than a few bar snacks. We ordred a Pizza and a tomato soup. We watched the pizza in a card box being taken to the kitchen, when it arrived it was nothing more than you would pay 2.99 for at a supermarket and the soup was without any doubt a can of Heinz or other tinned soup. During the night on the fifth floor where we were there was three or four rooms taken by a large Asian family with kids. They were going from room to room banging doors with no respect to others, the men kept going into the corridor and taking loud and making phone call after phone call. There are no phones to call reception in any of the rooms so it was left to us to shout to them to shut up. The next morning we mentioned it in reception and they confirmed there are no phones in any rooms, no landline at all.
The staff who work there were fine, all polite and very pleased to talk to us. Cant say i would recommend it at all.

Amazing staff who showed fantastic customer service and empathy

My car broke down as I was leaving Manchester airport this morning (28.06.2025). I pulled into the Holiday Inn a short distance away.
I would like to praise 4 members of staff that kindly showed me empathy and understanding during my stressful morning. I was allowed to stay in their car park until the RAC arrived (FOC), they also offered me a coffee and some food, I didn't go for a full English to be fair, I took a small selection of fruit. I wished I had taken their names at the time but I was a little ermmmm how can I put it "calm on the surface but a little stressed underneath". THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, staff went above and beyond for me, I really appreciated their understanding. I arrived home safely - 1hr to get back with some motorway driving involved with a temporary repair to a split turbo pipe!!!

Double charged AGAIN

I have attended a yearly conference held at the hotel each June. I split the room with another attendee. We were both on the reservation and both our credit cards were on the reservation. I emailed the hotel on June 9 to make sure we were clear on that. When my roommate got to the hotel, she was told she wasn't on the reservation despite a PRINTED EMAIL FROM THE HOTEL. When I checked out (before my roommate) I again explained that the charge should be divided between the two credit cards, and the person checking me out verified that there were two different cards in the system. I was charged half when I checked out and upon returning home, saw that they had charged my card twice and my roommate's not at all. This is the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW that I've had the same issue, which is why I put everything in writing before my stay. I don't know if the staff can't read, can't listen or truly don't care about their guests, but the result is the same. Although this is the host hotel for the conference I am seriously considering choosing another hotel and simply attending the conference activities.

Full of immigration

Full of and support immigration. Used soo much in the years and had a good reputation. Now is like a fleet of flats accomodation the foreign immigrants. Never ever stay again. Stick with premier inn. Discrace

Very impressed with their super efficiency

I was extremely impressed with staff’s super efficiency in dealing with guests’ problems at Holiday Inn Bloomsbury London.

I had stayed at this hotel a few times in the past having had good impression about this hotel without experiencing any problems.

During my latest visit, I have had an opportunity to experience super efficiency from their Reservations Department particularly.

I felt my long term loyalty was rewarded at this hotel and I felt very lucky to be able to stay at this hotel once again.

I am more than happy to recommend this hotel to any future guests!

This hotel’s friendly helpful staff will look after you very well for sure!

Thank you very much for your tremendous help to me!

Holiday Inn just lost a loyal customer

I’ve been a loyal IHG member since 2015. I made reservations at Holiday Inn & Suites Golf Shores - 160 West Commerce Ave., for 2 nights (June 11 -13) for 2 queen beds (3 adults, 1 child). When the reservations were made, I was advised the card on file could be used to hold the room, the card would not be charged until check-in (3pm). When my family and I arrived at the location, we were advised that the room had been cancelled due to insufficient funds on the card they tried to run at 7:30am, keep in mind the card on file was my misc account to hold the room until my arrival. After the reservation was cancelled, the only room available was for (1) king size bed with a sofa in which we ended up taking. The room smelled old and musty. There was hair in the bathroom and stains on the sheets…..the floors on the elevator were wet and muddy. The gentleman at the front desk was rude and wouldn’t connect me with the Manager, to file a complaint. I tried calling the location throughout my stay to speak with the GM and was hung up on twice, the 3rd time was transferred to a full voicemail and could not leave a message.

My son and I ended up leaving this hotel and reserving a room at Hilton which was just behind Holiday Inn Express and let me tell you, they were top notch! The rooms were CLEAN and FRESH, the customer service from the reservation, welcome gift, to the full breakfast spread exceeded my expectations and the rates were cheaper.

When I finally reached someone at the IHG complaint line, I was hung up on by one of their representatives (Harvey), on the call back, I spoke with Steven who was nice, when I asked to speak with a supervisor he did not hang up but transferred me to someone who listened to my concern with empathy. What is disappointing is that there was no accountability on the misinformation provided, what if my family and I were unable to find a room for lodging during our visit to Golf Shores.

Though I ended up spending extra $ by switching hotels (IHG to Hilton), my eyes are open that there are better options. It’s really sad how this hotel chain has gone down. If they want to lose loyal customers, this is certainly the way to do it!!!!

Stayed at the Holiday Inn IHG in Bristol City Centre

Stayed at the Holiday Inn IHG in Bristol town centre. Hotel very clean but the best part was the staff. All staff were very helpful and accommodating. The star member was at breakfast, we were looked after by Ratika who informed us she had only been working front of house for a month and previously worked as a chef at the hotel. She was extremely professional and attentive to all our needs and requirements at breakfast. She is a 5 star member of staff and made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you Ratika from Luke and Preye.

Absolutely Disgusting Experience

I don’t even know where to start. The place was filthy from the moment I walked in, but the worst part? There were literal dookie stains on the sheets. Not even joking. How does that even happen?! I was just trying to have a vacation with my family and grandkids! HORRIBLE. I asked to switch rooms and the next one wasn’t much better—stains on the carpet, a weird smell, and a bathroom that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. This place should be shut down. Save yourself the trauma and go anywhere else. save yourself and stay far, FAR away!

HORRIBLE STAY, EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE

HORRIBLE, UNPLEASANT STAY--BOOK ANYWHERE ELSE!

I booked many hotels on my current trip, and this was the 2nd worst--yet the most expensive!

Noise: The clientele here is unbelievably loud--it sounded like someone was banging a sledgehammer on my outside wall/door at odd hours of the night. I called the reception desk--and they did not even offer to send me to another room.

There is a sign in the hallways that says, "Quiet Hours are Enforced," but the hotel is unable to enforce them because...

Security: There are NO CAMERAS on the floors. This means that if somebody is making constant noise, there is no way for management to tell who is doing it. This is also a huge security issue, and suggests that illegal activity is likely here.

Customer Service: Management was polite, but when I told them that I had gotten terrible sleep because of the noise issues, they refused to refund my stay. Their position was, "If you had a bad night, that's your fault." They kept saying I had "options" to change my situation. NO--I can't find a new hotel room at 2 in the morning, nor am I keen on dragging all my belongings into a new room at 2 in the morning. YOU NEED TO ENFORCE YOUR OWN QUIET HOURS--that's on you.

Decor/Appearance: The rooms look like they are straight out of the 1970's: ugly browns and yellows. My microwave was easily 20 years old. There is no way a room like this should cost $150+.

I am baffled that this hotel had no pride in its brand and refused to discount or completely refund my stay. I will NEVER STAY AT A HOLIDAY INN AGAIN!

I’ve stayed with IHG many times when…

I’ve stayed with IHG many times when location suited. They were great airline I work for generally give us the choice of hotels.
I’d accumulated plenty of points which when I went to use for personal reasons was told that they had just expired. I wasn’t informed that this world be the case, and so you get told abruptly about their T&C’s.
The points are as good as money and this felt like theft. My airline didn’t know this was the case either. Back to Hilton for us.

Scotch Corner - rip off parking

Such a prominent hotel at a major junction of the A1 should be a beacon but instead it is a slick glib operation with very poor food, they cant even make a sandwich, and obligatory expensive parking. I parked at the front of the hotel, popped in for the loo and lunch and 3 months later received a court paper to my home for parking. Parking Eye Limited, a well known outfit are responsible for managing the parking at the hotel. I wont use any hotel in future which rips off customer by charging for parking in addition to charging for paid services.

Only for immigration

Shit hotel sold out for immigrants brittish people clearly not welcome Premier inn all the way this hotel is the largest chain to take immigrants inn in favour for tax payers money laying off brittish people unfairly so I hope people don't use this hotel again

Holiday Inn Herbert Walker Avenue

We arrived at the Holiday Inn Herbert Walker Avenue Southampton 31/3/25 and were shocked to see what can only be described as a building site outside! We were really annoyed as I would have thought with the amount of work going on we should have been informed, this was really poor customer service on the hotels part. Parking was really difficult and there were no disabled spaces that we could see. On checking in the receptionist advised we had an upgrade……this turned out not to be as good as it sounded on floor 3 front facing as work was being carried out on the lifts and also extensive heavy work to the front with horrendous noise ( we travelled from Glasgow and were up at 4 in the morning so hoped to get our heads down for a couple of hours on arrival, this was impossible!). We did look at the possibility of booking another hotel but either prices were too expensive or there was no availability. After discussing with the Manager as we had already booked the evening dinner in the hotel restaurant we were told 50% would be deducted from each main meal, we agreed thinking this was a decent gesture but the menu changed that day, we both chose the crispy chicken schnitzel and some kind of garlic potatoes, the meal was very poor and certainly not crispy. What really annoyed both myself and wife was on checking out when the receptionist asked if we had a good stay, we said no not really, it’s like living on a building site. The receptionist just laughed, i advised it really wasn’t a laughing matter and at that we’re met with silence!! We have used this hotel numerous times over the last 20 years of cruising and had several issues over the last 3 years. This time we will definitely not be returning, which is disappointing as the hotel is a great location.

Wow What A Stay

Holiday Inn Huntingdon Racecourse.
Wow What A Stay.
Honestly I cannot fault this hotel.
I take my little Great Nephew and Great Great Niece and Nephew here every year (yep I'm an oldie, but boy am I young at heart). Anyway, I book the same room so I know what I'm getting.
From the time we walk through those doors the staff treated us like royalty. Nothing I requested was any bother to them. They were all polite and interacted with the children.
The service at meals times was just amazing. TBH it has to be one of the best Hotels I've stayed in for a long while especially after the Premier Inn, Cockermouth (yeah read that review) the place was outstanding.

Thank you to everyone at the Holiday Inn, Huntingdon and the children said "see you next year" XX

I had the worst experience with holiday…

I had the worst experience with holiday inn, their customer service team did their best I guess but they have horrible processes that are not user friendly, was a HUGE stress. This was in relation to booking and checking in

Finally get to my room, the 2 times I stayed I phoned to order room service and they had no chef, I was stuck with vending machine food.

The buffet was about $40way over priced for what it is. Dry dry and stale. Cheese cake was still frozen.

I travel to Auckland for work every month, I’d not stay there again.
