Great communication and service when I collected it.

A very nice young man loaded my very heavy box on to a trolley & took it to my car & loaded it in for me.

A few days ago l purchased a 3 for 2 offer of emulsion paint from Selly Oak Birmingham l returned one unopened tin today because the colour did not suit the room the shop assistant said l could change for a different colour. I also purchased some additional items
What l didn't realise until leaving the store and checking my receipt l had paid full price of £18 for my paint and not £12 what the 3 for 2 offer was .
I returned to the store and the cashier spoke to a colleague who said l couldn't have it for the offer price l purchased as it was a different one today buy one get one half price
I am sorry but l wasn't at all happy l hadn't purchased today and said after Managing and training Customer care in the service industry for more than 40 years never let a customer go away unhappy because they would not return and l won't it wasn't the £6 but l had spent even more money in that store thinking l had been well looked after
I get better service from your competitors and that is where l will always now go

Ordered night before picked up nx day.lovely cashier very helpful also bought paint I needed in store.very happy all round

Easy transaction

I ordered two 5 litre Homebase paint for Click and collect on Sunday 8/09/24 but couldn't get to Homebase until 10/09/24. I went straight in and gave my order number and collected my order so quickly.
At the same time I took back 10 litres of paint that was unused which I bought on the 13/08/24 as it was within 30 days, I showed my receipt and got a full refund for the 10 litres of paint without any problems. Thank you Homebase for such quick and efficient service.

Floor staff failed at customer service, showed he didn't want to be there. Wanted multiple items but the floor staff failed to ask if I needed anything else and before we could say anything. Walked off so we decided to visit a different store for the remaining items. The till staff didn't even say hi or anything. Just told us the price and didn't even say bye. We felt rushed and very unwelcome

Edit: thank you for the automated reply from your system. It's clear you aren't reviewing or caring about your customers. So we will take our business to other stores and not be returning to home base in the near future

Small queue quick service

Brilliant customer service could not fault staff, the lady went through everything a number of times to ensure all the planning and fittings were correct before I purchased the kitchen. Cannot wait to see it installed.

The ‘click and collect’ process was fine! I went to that store to collect the item and the lady didn’t know exactly where it was at first, so it could have been a little smoother!

Great service

Everything went well and I enjoyed my purchase which is a good quality. I love home base at selly Oak it is a fantastic place those garden centre and you can get everything you need to for home decorating. It is far better by 100% than being human will etc and this shop is so good it should be extended and advertised and marketing better
