Popped into New Oscott store this morning. Looking for bamboo canes. Found a member of staff (lady) who told me exactly where they were. Wandering back through the aisles saw a small, light spade at a reasonable cost. Picked that up and proceeded to tils, was served by Clive who was extremely pleasant. Will admit there’s normally a queue but quickly dealt with by other staff

I had an amazing experience shopping in-store this afternoon. I met Angela and she was a pleasure to meet and converse with. Angela advised when I explained what I came to buy and everything including the up selling she did was on point. I am pleased with the service time spent exchanging the flowers we have in our backyards and tips for looking after them were great.
There was lots of variety and well watered flowers it would have been hard not to buy anything.

Me and my wife was severed by Grace at this time the store had 2 minutes till closing, it was very in the store we had only been in store for 45 minutes and we both was uncomfortable with the heat but Grace had been there problem all day must have been feeling the heat was so helpful, pleasant ,not with just me and my with but with the customer in front of us . Thank you Grace and all the staff for being helpful .

I was helped by Emerson in sorting an issue I had with a power washer I bought. He resolved the problem quickly. He has previously helped me in store when buying a hedge cutter, he is extremely knowledgeable in the gardening department and is always friendly. He is a great asset to Homebase!

We went to Homebase today looking for plant pots and pebbles for drainage. We met Angela who was working in the outdoor garden centre. She was more than just helpful, she shared knowledge about the type of soil we needed, what ratio was required and explained how to pot our plants when we got home. (We are clueless and not green fingered). We had a lovely chat not only about plants & gardening but other things too! Lovely staff member who went above and beyond! Thank you Angela! :)

Helpful and friendly service

Booked click and collect before leaving the house 15 minute run my order was waiting

The young lady who served me was very polite and helped me carry the lawn mower into the car.
My only regret is that I don’t know her name so can’t feed it back to Homebase

The lady on the click and collect desk was very polite and helpful

However, my order was incorrectly picked and one of the 6 cans of paint I collected was of a different finish.

If I’d not noticed this in the car park it would have been a 1.5-2 hour round trip to rectify

UPDATE
I got a call very shortly afterwards from customer service. They were genuinely sorry, no messing around or flannel. We got it wrong and we are sorry. Very happy with the response from Homebase.

Dave (david) on the till was lovely. So polite and patient with me and my daughter.

Took forever for collection. Member of staff couldn't find the order, she came back out sat down & asked another member of staff who was serving customers to go & find it, he stated quite rightly, he was serving, so she then asked yet another member of staff to help, Whilst sitting looking bored. I then had to take them out to the garden centre so they could pick my order. Total shambles, so unprofessional.

I really like Homebase and the products they choose to stock. I ordered click & collect, it all went smoothly and I liked the 15% off. Well done Homebase.

The young girl with red hair was really good. She read the room well and acknowledged us and multitasked the Q. Fair play skills to pay the bills
