Very impressive service
I ordered delivery two boxes of Christmas tree baubles by mistake and a Christmas tree which came without a stand.
The local Homebase refunded the second box of baubles and replaced the Christmas tree on the spot - no quibles, no forms to sign - excellent service and very impressed

Most grumpy woman to have ever served me! No greeting. I said what I was there for, she said "reference number" I gave it to her and she said my surname then got my item, dumped it down and said "reference no. is on receipt" and walked off.

Click and collect not a simple process
I arrived and they said my ordered had already been collected. -incorrect
They then said it was a lamp to collect -incorrect
They couldn’t find the item via their online system check with the provided code, they couldn’t to give me the item. 10min later they then found the item by a manual look in their stock room.

Homebase, don’t bother.
Having ordered had confirmation and then a second mail to confirm click and collect I arrived and found the item was out of stock. I drove some distance and wasted a lot of time only to be told a vmail had been left, while I was driving of course and could not have the display version either upset daughter…even though no more stock was expected, rude staff manager unavailable but saw him in the store. What a shower.

Easy to order online and was ready for collection the following day, (although i actually collected it 3 days later). Staff in store very efficient and polite.
