Total scam site, they're not actually based in Aotearoa, nor do they make anything. They brought a .co.nz domain and buy in the cheapest things they can.
Avoid at all costs, unless you like throwing cash away.

I wish I could score a zero they don't deserve a one.

One star is to generous.

Ordered a stereo one month ago because it was apparently in stock. One month later I still haven't received it. Have asked for a refund multiple times. Do not order from this company. Scam.

I was an Innovations NZ loyal customer for quite some time. Their products are a mixed bag - some are very good quality, some are just cheaply made. overpriced junk. They used to have decent customer service and used to package the products very well. I always appreciated this. But something has changed and not for the better.

Maybe it is a new management and they don't do a good job because my last 5 orders were absolute disasters. An expensive copy of a Royal Albert New Roses dinner set arrived packaged loosely in a thin cardboard box that did not protect it adequately.  I bought it as a Christmas gift for a very special person. I couldn't give it to them because its signature pink box was badly damaged in transit. When I contacted Innovations NZ customer service a woman who barely spoke English and clearly didn't understand me, but was interrupting me frequently, promised me to "escalate" my case and a manager was supposed to call me back. Nobody did! 

I ordered another Royal Albert dinner set with the idea of keeping the first one for me and gifting the new one to my loved one. Two days later I received an email that the item had been put on back order. And on New Year's Eve, at 12:07 am, when we were celebrating,  another email from Innovations NZ arrived. They cancelled my order! 

At first I couldn't believe it! A company which claims that they are not happy if their customers are not satisfied, has done everything to upset me by ruining not only my Christmas but also my New Year celebration! What kind of people are these?!

I still have 3 orders with them that have not been dispatched "due to a technical issue in our warehouse". So, I expect they will cancel these as well.

My advice to everyone who contemplates ordering from Innovations NZ/Magnamail - do so with great caution! I haven't ussed their return service until now, but have two products that I need to return, and I am concerned because it looks like it will cost me a lot to ship these back. Maybe, a better solution is to throw them in the rubbish bin!
