Great support from Insolvency & Law
Great support from Insolvency & Law in recovery of a failed investment. The process took a long time (as external administrators were involved) but the I&L team was always responsive and provided regular updates regarding the progress. Once a part of the investment was recovered, I&L identified an additional avenue allowing to recover additional funds.

Great results from I&L
Following on from my review in 2022, I would like to give an update, that I&L have continued to tirelessly pursue clients best interests - and I have just received full dividend payment from one liquidator, and awaiting final payment from another liquidator in the coming weeks. The ongoing professionalism and tenacity of the I&L team is to be highly commended.

Do not trust this company to get your…
Do not trust this company to get your money back. They claim that the upfront fee you pay will take the case to court, but this is not the case. If the person/company who they are chasing ignores them or gives up a fight, Insolvency and Law simply give up. I have experienced this twice now with two different cases. I have given them ample time to respond to me but they just completely ignore you.
Pay a proper lawyer who doesn't make false promises and underperforms. I would go as far as to say that this business is immoral.

On the basis this is a legitimate enquiry, because you have not identified yourself so we can be more detailed in our response, nonetheless, our response is as follows: No doubt you would have been copied in all our emails and correspondence to the debtor and/or the debtor’s representative. We would have therefore been transparent with you throughout the entire process. However, recovery of debt funds is never guaranteed though we do our upmost to achieve this. We also commit our own funds in the recovery of debt funds and that also means we are exposed to costs risks in the event the debt funds are not recovered. Admittedly, we don’t always respond to every email received due to our busy schedules. However, we do provide updates when there is any new development to report on. We sincerely apologise for letting you down on this occasion.
I&P professionally handled our debt
My wife and I used the debt assignment service provided by insolvency and law and despite problems caused by the debtor to avoid payment I&L successfully received the funds on our behalf and the funds were sent to me asap. Because of the problems caused by the debtor this was a stressful period for us however I&L dealt with these issues in a very professional matter the stress has now gone and we would highly recommend I&L

I am most surprised that you feel this way about our service. We have obtained for you a dividend from this particular Liquidator, which was by no means easy. Furthermore, the Liquidator has agreed to make a further dividend payment to you. Additionally, we have already informed you that the second Liquidator is due to pay you a first and final dividend on the matter related to this matter. Although these dividends have taken a while to materialise, it is solely down to our service that they are being declared by the various Liquidators and paid over to you. Without our service you would have most certainly received nothing at all. Some gratitude from you would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
Quick & Efficient.
My experience with insolvency and law was very quick and easy and very efficient. I sent them over all the details needed and the debt we had been trying to retrieve for 6 months was collected by Insolvency and law within a matter of 2/3 weeks.
This is the 3rd time we have used them and we have had results every time.

Assurances given meant nothing
Assurances given meant nothing. Recovery process was meant to be completed in 2018. Todate in 2023, it is still not resolved. the amount to be received is negligible & the amount of fee we paid for the services is way above what we are likely to be paid.

Johnny, it’s a shame you are being ungrateful for what we have already done for you. Let’s recap. We litigated against your solicitors and obtained a significant settlement for you and many others in a group claim. The auditors that were sued settled a while ago but the funds are with the Liquidators who are based in the BVI. The Liquidators have been beset with difficulty after difficulty in making payment of your dividend. We have kept the pressure on the Liquidators to make payment but this is a multi-jurisdictional claim involving claimants from all over the world with multi-million pound claims compared to your ‘negligible’ claim amount. We continue to keep you updated on progress. Each time the Liquidators report a delay with payment, we communicate it to you. Though we share your frustration it is beyond our control and we can only maintain the pressure on the Liquidators. The Liquidators have confirmed the dividend will be paid and it will. Please be patient. Sometimes, incredibly long delays do occur, due usually to complex legal reasons as it is in this case. Such is our tenacity, we have pursued your claim for over 8 years. Remember, your claim was dead in the water but we gave it life and you have received far more than what you have paid us in fees. Altogether, you are up and not down with our service. Kind regards

Assistance in an insolvency case
Codie Gage has offered to provide assistance to bondholders in a complicated insolvency matter. Thank you Annaliza for your feedback, which is important to us. On this occasion the Debtor was well practiced in the art of taking significant funds from individuals and not repaying and placing said funds beyond the reach of creditors. This Debtor has over £10m in debts to over 400 creditors and all wanting their pound of flesh, so once your debt was recovered under the bankruptcy petition, we had to withdraw the proceedings timely, before other creditors joined. Therefore, it was too risky for us to continue. In the end 100% of your Debt was successfully recovered but without the costs incurred. We are just as unrelenting with the other Debt owed to you and will also seek your costs. Thank you. Peter
