The Web Development course is very good easy to understand. My mentor Ken was helpful every time I needed help. I personally recommend this course for anyone who wants to start a career in IT

I recently completed my project management courses with IT Career Swap and I can honestly say, from that first phone call right up to that last training module, I am a very satisfied customer. I can highly recommend this course to anyone considering starting their project management journey. When I first approached IT Career Swap I was desperate for a career change and I was also nervous to take the plunge but the whole experience has already paid off for me! I used the skills I gained to open up my own business and to create project management opportunities for myself. I received a lot of guidance and support from Billy Masters, Georgia Mattewson and my personal mentor, Andy McDonald along the way and they really made my experience with the whole process that much better!

I have had an excellent experience studying the IT Technician Course as it allowed my to expand my academic knowledge further and gain hands-on experience by completing the Live Labs. This course also gave me the flexibility to work part-time and study at my own pace. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to begin an entry level IT Support role.

I have recently started my project management exams with career swap and passed my Prince2 foundation exam. The company are extremely helpful when you have any questions with course material as well recruitment. I am now starting my practitioner course and will be completing more exams with IT career swap in the future.

I bought the IT technician course as someone who is new to IT.

I'll start with the only thing I didn't necessarily like and that was the material is a lot of information to take in for someone who's new to IT. I know I'm not going to be able to retain all that information from the course material but also a lot of what I'm learning won't make full sense until I get hands on experience.

Having said that, the course material was great and very informative. The Live Labs were especially helpful for myself as I found it a really good way to practise. I found the site very easy to find my way round as well. The only way you won't gain anything from this course is if you don't put the work in because it is going to take work and dedication but a great way to get the foundational knowledge needed to start a career in IT.

I'd also like to thank Ken who was my mentor and continuously calling to check up on me and Laurence who was the first person I interacted with and he was very helpful and supportive and overall very good at his job seen as he got me to pay for the course lol.

I have literally just finished the course so I haven't gone onto the CV review and job interviews etc but I am very sure all will go smoothly and I will be closer to starting my career in IT.

To conclude, I would recommend IT Career Swap to those who are looking but just know its not a walk in the park and dedication is needed but worth it.

I am new to the area of project management and the courses taken through IT Career Swap have acted as a good introduction. The variety of courses help provide insight into many different areas. The PRINCE2 foundation and practitioner courses gave a comprehensive and well-structured overview. Other courses helped delve into more detail, as well as providing good advice from people with a lot of experience in this field. Although the content of some courses has a strong American flavour, the principles brought forward were universally applicable. Each course has its different style depending upon the teacher, but this actually added to the courses’ strength to give a well-rounded approach.

The courses themselves do not lead to an official qualification, but they do provide a certificate to show you have undertaken the training and passed the corresponding test. This does mean that some aspects of the course are irrelevant (such as a video about official examination information such as how to book exams etc.). Some of the material may be slightly out of date (eg. ITIL is v.3 rather than v.4) but it still gives a good outline. It would have been nice to have these areas included but as the project management package stands it is sufficient to meet my personal requirements. If they included the above then the price would be higher, which may have put me off looking into project management as a profession. The courses so far have served as a good base for investigating and starting in this area, as well as opening up extra possibilities for employment.

I have been very happy with the work of my mentor. I think it is the case that you get out as much as you put in. Any additional questions I have asked have always been answered in a timely manner. Not just that, but the quality of response has been exceptional. He has a great amount of experience, knowledge and helpful resources. The other staff have been very approachable and helpful in other aspects relating to IT Career Swap. In a time when employment is difficult to be gained, doing this course has helped aid my prospects and hopefully it will lead me to a job.

IT Career swap training is so wonderful I've gained a lot and so confident of myself now. I am convinced that I have set a good foundation in my IT career. I booked on a course at itcareerswap last October, with the hope of getting a job out of it.
I completed part of the training, but found that the training was tougher going than I expected, and raised issues with itcareerswap.
They have tried hard to accommodate my concerns, but ultimately our differing views on some fundamental points meant that the best way forward was to agree a partial refund.
I have nothing but the highest regard for the professionalism of Billy Masters in particular, who I had extensive dealings with, and hope that others are able to succeed with this company.

The team at IT Career Swap were very helpful and friendly. The course is made up of a series of videos and then a test. The videos were very informative and clear and easy to understand. In the videos the trainers provided some practical examples of what they were teaching which helped the information stick in my mind. The live labs is a great eay to learn the practical aspect of an IT role. This is because they give different tasks and clear instructions to follow. This was very informative and a great way to learn.

The courses of IT Career swap were really good and at the same time a bit challenge but they were very helpful and answered any questions I asked and a special thank you goes to Ashley and everyone at IT Career Swap, and the live labs which give you practica experience you learn a lot of things through there, I have now secured a position as a Junior Service Desk Analyst for a company called Bethel Construction and IT and it’s all thanks to Georgia and Ashley.

The Web Development course is well structured and easy to navigate. Throughout the course, I got plenty of support from my mentor giving me assistance with the course material. I managed to complete the course in 4 months, and found it very challenging and rewarding. I now feel more confident in my abilities and look forward to my first job in the IT industry. I would highly recommend IT Career Swap for anyone looking to make that first step into Web Development.

Im learning CompTIA A+ with IT Career Swap and find all the content in each module really helpful, it is not all written material you also have other materials such as Videos and Quizzes. When you complete a module your assigned mentor will give you an assessment so you can really test yourself and show them your understanding which has really helped me feel confident. They are always there for support when you need it and also provide you with extra study guides if you feel you need them ( I asked for them so I can learn as much as possible) I'm excited for when I finish this course to be able to start my Career :)

I bought web dev course (html,css,javascript, python).Lecturers are good. Easy to listen and follow. Course covers basics. Pure entry level. If it comes to JavaScript its a bit to little, bit outdated (2015). Python course is plain aswell, for a web course you would like to add Django.
You want to go thrue courses from Udemy, freeCodeCamp etc and then use IT Career Swap as extra to help you secure some job interviews.
Courses are easy and do not require aditional support, mentor or anything. You can easly google few bits if you relly want to know more.
Now if it comes to job part.
I would say its a big problem now due COVID-19.
I did received some (from ITCS) vacancies but all were redirecting me to the another recruitment agency. Who (recruiter handling the job offer) in most cases did not reply to emails nor arranged phone call.
Had one chat over the phone with one recruiter. After talk about role it turned out they need senior (mid level in worst case scaenerio) so i am not fit for the role.
But similar issue i seen with other roles pased to me. Senior level to mid one.
I had more replies from jobs i aplied on my own and if succesful work will start after virus lock down will be lifted.
In web dev world you should apply, even you are not fit to the role but with virus lockdown no one will consider junior developer if they are desperate for more experienced person. There is no room for error.
Now let move to another point.
I live in a "tech hub", Bristol, but jobs i received from ITCS were mainly from outside the town, whitch has no sense. Especially if you looking at 2-3 hours commuting time and unfortunately i got experience in that field when i was chasing management career.I do not reccomend long commuting time, unless you are on 70k+ a year.
Finall words.
One star less for courses is a must. Second star less for summary of few factors, like 'i bought course in wrong time', 'jobs offers not properly selected for junior developer', 'vacancys to far outside tech hub just to 'try' to secure interview'.
It didnt cost me a lot for a course so i am neutral on that field.
If it comes to people within company its all good.

I found the IT course easy to navigate, good lessons and videos to help me understanding the IT CAREER SWAP team it is a great service in all aspect to support me or anyone interested . My mentor Ashley is very helpful and walked me through the steps i'm happy with the course process. I completed my course now starting my new IT Technician Job.

Nothing but good things to say about IT career swap. I came on board after speaking to one of their course advisors called Billy. I have to say that I found him extremely professional and didn’t push me into doing the course.

I was working part time at the time so managed to complete the course in 9 weeks alongside my job. With the help of their team I secured a job within a month of completing.

I am now working full time as a help desk technician and love it.
