We are so incredibly grateful to Dr Mando, Penny and the whole Serum IVF Clinic for their guidance and support during our IVF process in 2023 for our son and most recently in 2025 for our ongoing pregnancy to hopefully to bring a sibling home very soon.

From the beginning of our interaction, we felt something special in this clinic, different from all the other clinics we have been to in several countries. We trusted Dr Mando with all her advice for a pre-treatment before our transfer and an additional visit to Athens for hysteroscopy, just to make sure our precious embryos are given the most chances.

We were so lucky to have had two out of two successful transfers both times, and we truly believe this is due to the personalized care and the treatment carefully given before each transfer, rather than the trial and error approach of many other clinics.

Dr Mando is not only a very knowledgable and experienced doctor, but she also has wonderful bedside manners. You feel at home with her from the very beginning and she is always there to support you.

From the very beginning, everything about the clinic made us feel comfortable, supported, and hopeful. One of the first things that stood out was the location. The clinic is ideally situated only around a 20–30 minute drive from Athens Airport, which makes travelling for treatment so much easier and far less stressful than you might expect. When you are already navigating an emotional journey, that level of convenience really does make a difference.

When you arrive at the clinic itself, the atmosphere is calm, spacious, and incredibly welcoming. It doesn’t feel clinical or intimidating in the way some medical environments can. Instead, the space has been thoughtfully designed to help patients feel relaxed and at ease. There is a comfortable quiet area where you can sit and take a moment, or if you need to take any calls or have a private conversation. These small touches show how much the clinic understands the needs of patients who may be travelling or spending a long day there.

Every single person we interacted with; from the reception team, to the midwives, to the consultant gynaecologists, was knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in our journey. Dr Mando and the staff at Serum have been fantastic. We went to Serum after our UK clinic deemed my infertility unexplained after 2 rounds of failed IVF. We went to Serum for further exploratory testing to find a reason and I had a hysteroscopy to remove several polyps. We went back to the UK feeling optimistic and happy to go back to Serum for another round of IVF in the future. Miraculously, I got pregnant naturally but Dr Mando talked us through the next steps, advising us on our blood test results when realistically, we should have no longer been patients of hers. Overall, the customer service was excellent and their personal touch made us feel comfortable and valued.

Our experience with Serum was extremely positive from start to finish. Not only is the staff incredibly professional, dedicated and resourceful, everyone is so lovely and approachable too. I had IVF treatment at Serum back in 2012-2013 and cannot more highly recommend them, mainly for the reason that my cycle in 2013 resulted in my twin boys now aged 11! Highly experienced, knowledgeable, empathetic and warm, this clinic will pull out all the stops in helping you to achieve your family goals and will make you feel like you matter to them personally. They are also innovative in dealing with problematic auto-immune difficulties in maintaining pregnancy which was so important for me. I look back very fondly of my experience with Serum :)

We are so incredibly grateful to this clinic for helping us achieve our long-awaited rainbow baby 🌈 After a long and emotional fertility journey, the care, kindness and professionalism we received meant more than we can put into words.
This was our first embryo transfer, and from the very beginning we felt supported and reassured. Dr Mando was exceptional — calm, knowledgeable and compassionate. She took the time to explain everything clearly and ensured our treatment felt personalised rather than routine, which gave us so much confidence.
The level of care went above and beyond. When our flight was delayed, the team arranged for our medication to be ready at our apartment so I wouldn’t run out, which removed so much stress at an already anxious time. Small gestures like this made a huge difference and showed just how much they genuinely care about their patients.
Travelling back and forth to Athens wasn’t easy, but the clinic’s organisation, communication and support made the whole process feel manageable. We will be forever thankful to Dr Mando and the whole team and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone on their IVF journey.

Christmas is a time for reflection and giving thanks. I am so grateful to many for their assistance on our fertility journey, but in particular, for the wonderful skilled and compassionate doctors and staff in Serum. This Christmas we have thanks to give for two beautiful Serum miracles. Our little boy turned 2 in October, and 2025 blessed us with our little girl who is almost 5 months old. I read these reviews when doing my initial fact find and found them useful so I hope my positivity steers others in the direction of Serum. Travelling from Ireland felt daunting initially but after my first visit in 2022, I realised it was seamless and beyond worthwhile, given the expertise and willingness of the clinic to help. My experiences have been amazing and saying thanks just simply never feels like enough.
I know the Yew year can be a time to make plans and put them into place, but if you are in two minds about (a) going abroad for treatment and (b) having a consultation with Serum, please please do. ❤️

I want to thank Serum IVF team for helping me get pregnant in February 2025. I have a history of Fibroids, endometriosis and Adenomyosis. I live in Canada and contacted Serum in 2021 broken from years of infertility and a failed marriage. Prior to coming to Serum, I had 4 failed IVF cycles. Following Serum’s advice I did a clomid egg banking cycle and laparotomy in 2022, embryo banking cycle in 2023 and in 2024 started preparing for an FET cycle. Our first FET cycle was a huge success, I got pregnant for the first time in my life, sadly I had a missed miscarriage. For someone who had never been pregnant before, this was a huge deal, there was great joy within my family and friends. Thank you Penny for your motherly care and advice when I first reached out to Serum. Now preparing for our second FET and praying for success and live birth. I am grateful to Serum IVF for the journey so far.

Serum has helped us with our IVF journey from the start. We travelled from Canada on 3 occasions ans they helped us repair a uterine septum, through an egg retrieval cycle (that didn't work for myself and not because of their medical interventions) and through a donor egg cycle with a fresh transfer that has resulted in a pregnancy. We have had very good experiences with this clinic and would suggest it to anyone in a similar situation or looking to go out of country. The doctors and staff are always very helpful and prompt and treat everyone like a member of their families. We can't think of anything negative from our experiences with Serum IVF.

My partner and I have been patients of Serum since January 2024. I am writing this review to express our gratitude and appreciation for the outstanding service we have been receiving from the wonderful team, especially Dr. Meridis, Ms. Gkalia and the midwives in serum. We went to Serum in November 2024 due to recurrent miscarriages. We'd had tests in the UK and been told nothing was wrong but I felt the UK Drs were missing something and Serum had been recommended by a friend who went there and conceived with their help.

From the initial telephone consultation in September through to our visit and tests in November Serum were fantastic. I felt reassured from the initial consultation that they would do everything they could to find out what our issue was.

Their staff were truly professional and compassionate people. The clinic was spotless and adorned with pictures of children born thanks to the doctors at Serum which gave us even more confidence. We stayed in their accommodation next door which was beautiful. And even managed some site seeing!

Their advanced tests discovered an infection and following a short course of treatment for the infection we conceived naturally.

It will be a year next week since we went and after 7 losses before we went to Serum I sit here with my 7 week old baby boy in my arms.

I am 47.5 years old and I was told I will never have a child with own egg.My ovaries were practically dead, I was not having periods for months and got all the "extras"that come with late perimenopause. After long and very exhasuting research and terrible experience with other clinics in my home country, I ended up finding Serum. After the first ovarian
PRP which Dr.Makis managed to perform on my almost non existing shrunk ovaries I had a huge follicle in the first 15 days!I started having periods again and Im glad I ignored all the claims that PPR does not work and trusted my gut and Dr.Makis.Despite being very young, he is extremelly professional and genuinely doing his best to give a chance to women like me to have a biological child!
I would like to add that testing was extrmely helpfull and provided very important information about my status. The endometrial
micribiota result showed terrible disbiosis due to ghe low Estradiol, which was sucrssfully treated by Dr.Makis with several antibiotic courses and Crispatus ,which I initially refused but after achieving 60 percent improvement I was speechless.

I had my single egg collection few days ago, a stage I never though I will achieve.This never happened before and I am sure it would not happen if I had been at another clinic or another doctor.I am still in disbelieve and can not thank enough to Dr.Makis, and the midwives, the girls at the frontdesk, everyone is professional and at the same time they are warm and genuinely kind. I always feel at ease and comfotable with all of them.I consider having huge luck that I was able to find Serum and that I did not give up finding the right clinic as I do not consider using donor eggs at all.Someting that Dr.Makis always respects and does hos best to give my own ovaries a chance.

I don’t even know where to begin when talking about our journey, because for so many years it felt like a story without a happy ending. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for 7–8 years. During that time, we experienced some of the most painful moments of our lives a miscarriage, an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in losing my right fallopian tube, and a failed IVF treatment in the UK.
