These poles have started popping up all over Withington with absolutely zero backing from the local community! We did not ask for them, we refuse to sign up to Opus broadband. Our local community is productive and will band together to get these removed and waste your money!

Unwanted and unnecessary poorly developed infrastructure impacting negatively on people’s homes and streets. It takes very little googling to see what the company are like.

A cowboy company, using outdated infrastructure, but with a Tory peer on the board , so have government permission to put up poles anywhere.
No point in complaining to them they totally ignore it or deflect.

Very bad company! set up a terrible pole in front of my house, very close to my bedroom without any notice. I’ve just found it when I came back from shopping this morning. I have tried to make a complain. They just ignored it. I’ll keep complaining again and again.

100% not needed in residential area.
They have cut down a healthy tree so this mask can go up. No planning permission no information just turned up and tried doing the job.

Nasty looking pole at side of my house without any notice. I appreciate notice may not be required but it would have been considerate....doesnt set a good example of customer service right at the outset. Ixwireless....installing wires around my estate....does this company know what they are doing! Ha

This company out up a giant pole right outside my front gate yesterday, no prior notice whatsoever. My neighbour and I are going to complain but I don't expect this bunch of cowboys will listen.
Are they going to compensate residents whose properties have been devalued by these giant ugly poles?
I live in south Manchester and we already have high speed fibre broadband, which is underground, so why do we need this?
Disgusting company paying off councils to turn a blind eye, one of their fatcats is tory MP. Profit before all else as usual!

Unwanted poles.
The neighbours and I arranged a site meeting for the position of the pole.
The company erected the pole the day before the meeting. The excuse was bad communication between departments. We think it's a shoddy company, and they left a messy pavement. However the manager listened to our grievances, and was polite.

Arrived late afternoon with no warning and installed a ghastly pole at the bottom or my garden blocking my view. Also left a load of rubbish, cans, crisp packets they they'd obviously eaten while working.
Tried to contact the company to raise an objection but shocker no email and phone line doesn't work, have to write a letter. The poles are backward as clearly is the company

No consultation before installing a post outside the house. This post will obscure our view backing out onto a busy road where school children walk past daily. An accident waiting to happen!

They won't get any custom here upset all local residents so waste of time erecting these posts!

A whole scary and frustrating week.Came back from holiday to a note saying that IX were going to put up a pole
.No indication of type!08/04 /24 to 12/04/24 slot no other info on which day!Tried phoning no. The note was not dated,We had gone on holiday on 1/04/24 came back on 6th./04/24.The letter came while we were away .We had been given FIVE DAYS NOTICE.This is Anarchy not Democracy!After umpteen phone calls they arrived on 11th.I objected they went away.My wife is terrified they will come back!No consultation at all!

Not wanted. They should be using existing infrastructure.

They are not following industry best practice guidelines.

Received a letter saying that a telegraph post is going to be put up right outside my house. Have telephoned a number of times, left messages for them to phone me. Sent lengthy email voicing my objections. No replies!

I only gave 1 star as it was not an option to give none. Appalling company, no consideration for residents where they are installing masts. Customer service not interested, unable to comment in response to most questions. Avoid this company at all cost!

Dreadful organisation. They disregard residents views and aesthetics of an area in favour of profit. Pay MPs to be in their pocket so they won’t object to work being done in their area.
State of the country I’m afraid. All about how much can be made. No regard for opinions of people who live next to the eyesores they are erecting.

Terrible company, basically lying about the capabilities of their services by calling it "next gen". There's nothing next generation about this service. Oh and the person who ultimately controls this business is a certain Mr Mohsan, of Time Computers/Granville fame (look him up!)...

Ugly poles, we have enough street clutter without this company putting up masts without agreement from local councils.

I will never use this company and encourage others not to, they are visual vandals.

You only have to do an Internet search on this Company, try both their names IXwireless and 6G Internet, they have a terrible reputation and the owners have a string of failed companies behind them. that doesn't mean they ended up poor!
They plan to install one of their 15 metre (49 FOOT) metal masts, huge cabinets, and two wooden poles on our street, then they string cables from the mast to the poles and onwards to other streets. Who wants all this ugly stuff on their street, which apparently drops your house value by a third.

This company should not be trading it is a complete scam.
