Poor coffee and poor service.

Will not go back to Bexleyheath Jamaica Blue. Nothing Jamaican about it, coffee is average but very expensive

We went to Jamaica Blue when it first opened in Doncaster a few months ago and there had been teething problems with orders so we excused them a little as they were just starting out….., how ever we went today and opted to eat in their outside table area and I ordered coffees, cake and a side of chunky chips… I paid and the staff member gave me a ticket number for our table so the waiter could see where we were.. The coffees came back after half an hour (in proper cups ), the waitress then asked “is that everything…? I said no, we ordered cake and a portion of fries. She said no worries. It came out ten minutes later in takeaway boxes which then was I think the manager who brought them out … I immediately said we ordered to eat here and he said oh the staff must have thought you’d ordered takeout….? I said what with coffee cups we’re drinking from and a number is been given to place on our table …? He did offer to take them away and replace them with proper plates .., but by then I fortunately our good eating experience had left us !! Out coffee were cold by now, although the chips were nice and hot and the cake lush ., I felt like a horse been given a nose bag to eat from when everyone else was eating with proper plates ! We said omg I’m certain this is now our last time we eat here!

My friend and I decided to try the Jamaica Blue cafe in Bracknell's 'Lexicon' shopping center on our day out. The whole experience was doomed to fail as when I got in queue, I had a rather 'uppity' staff member tell me rather condescendingly to line up 'there' instead of 'here' to order. Never-mind, 'first time nerves', I said to myself, and ordered an extra shot coffee for myself and a smoothie for my friend. Both arrived at our designated table and without going into details, both beverages were so bad, that my 'non-coffee drinking' friend ended up drinking my coffee (which was so bland DESPITE the extra shot) and I ended up begrudgingly drinking a few sips of her smoothie which even to a 'not-so-discerning' foodie like me tasted straight out of a 'processed bottle' than being made with wholesome ingredients. We left in less than half an hour, not even finishing those drinks and found when we went to an adjacent shop that they too had experienced very shoddy customer service from this place and had to deal with staff rudeness and passive aggressive behavior. We won't be going there again! How can you justify the so-called superiority of your beans when the end product is hardly edible ?Perhaps train your staff a thing or two about 'customer service' too while you're at it ?

Visited at lakeside village Doncaster. Ordered two coffees and Childs Mac and cheese and orange juice. Service dreadful. One coffee brought to table and then waited 15 mins before the second coffee came and that was because I complained . Food overpriced and low quality. Will not be returning

A really nice girl with curly hair served me very well she was very welcoming and didn’t rush me when I was unsure about what I wanted to drink she recommended the matcha latte that was sweet which was perfect as I have a sweet tooth overall made my experience better and she brought great value great smile thank you so much

First visit to Doncaster branch...to see what the fuss is about.

Left unimpressed... they need to up their game a plenty of competition near them.

Coffee was expensive, watery and a small portion for £3.80. 4 gulps and gone.

Food menu is overpriced and the inside of the cafe window was swarming with flies.

Peterborough. I’m so disappointed! My bbq Yorkshire pudding wrap was hard as a rock! plus not much staff inside ! Paid 10.50£ with bottle of water . Never again!

Went to Jamaica blue in Bexleyheath and the drinks and food was excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

First visit to day for lunch (Ipswich) Peri Peri Chicken Burger. The chicken fillet was overcooked probably in a microwave. It was so dry I could not cut through it with a knife. The thick cut chips were ok and the coffee was very good. Staff were polite and the place was clean. Will not eat there again.

We visited the new Jamaica Blue in Bexleyheath this morning and won’t be returning.
Our four meals arrived at different times. The breakfast sausages were either undercooked or chewy, the poached eggs were like bullets and I don’t think the baked beans had seen the inside of a microwave.
Exorbitant prices for substandard food.

Just popped into Jamaica Blue in the Glades shopping centre in Bromley. Amazing experience - great service, efficient, friendly, professional and fantastic coffee.

It's our second visit .Food is amazing.We did not have to wait long for our food.Served by Abhishek.He is warm and friendly. Betty brought our food.Had a good conversation with Tania .Highly recommended this plc .And will return again .Great atmosphere and clean.

Nice comfortable setting. Quiet and easy to chat without being too noisy. Food lacked a bit. I asked for tuna /onion sandwich and friend got haloumi and avocado salad. Strangely both had been heated up! Not what I expected. Also asked for salad dressing of some sort i.e. french dressin or similar and don't do any salad dressings. Seems basic request if have salads on menu. Price wise OK

We ordered three dishes at the Jamacia Blue Bracknell outlet this morning, all three dishes were substandard. We had ‘Shrooms on French Toast. The French toast was too sweet for a savoury dish and the mushrooms looked looked they had been cooked and held hot for some time prior to service, they were under seasoned. The "poached egg" on the Aussie Avo Smash had a solid yolk and the sourdough toast was too hard. The fried eggs on the eggs Huevos Rancheros were stone cold. We complained about the cold eggs asking for them to be replaced we were told that they would replace the eggs but not the other elements of the dish! I complained about this, asked to speak with the manager and said I would not pay for the dish. The manager did not come and speak with us, despite the waiter (who was pleasant) going to speak with them on two occasions. Eventually the Huevos Rancheros were replaced with ‘Shrooms on French Toast - which we had not ordered and was equally as poor as the one described above.
We paid in full (£54.00) for this and three coffees. We will not be back.

Visited Ealing branch today with my friend for drinks and food. We sat down and had our laptops out, and was deciding what to order whilst catching up. Within 20 mins, Two staff approached us to order something otherwise we would be asked to leave as we had our laptops out and both times we informed them we were still deciding what to get. The second staff lady had quite an attitude when she told us we would have to leave when though we had already told her colleague 5 mins prior we were going to order. Ordered ice coffee for £6.7 which was very over priced and watered down, 70% of it was ice. And it definitely was not worth that much. Also they charge extra for syrup…? No coffee branch really does that. After an hour of getting the drinks another staff member told us to leave as they have 2 hour allowance for ‘studying’, i explained I was still having my drinks as I am a slow drinker , but he offered to put it in a take away cup and told us to leave. I find it very rude, this is a cafe/brunch space which looks comfortable to catch up with friends whilst doing work, however they have a 2 hour time allowance for it, even when I was still finishing my drink. Also, no the cafe was not busy at all! It was quite empty with many seats available , if they were very busy I would understand but there was no one even there! I would never visit this place again!!! Not welcoming at all ! Don’t come here if you’re planning to get work done or catch up for 2hr plus because they’ll kick you out

The breakfast was cold, bread was stale and grisly sausages. Can not recommend.

Twice now I’ve had a cappuccino to take out. Both, not even similar to a cappuccino. Not even enough froth to be a latte, more like a flat white with a 1cm froth. Terrible and very disappointed! More training needed! I’m trained so I know what I’m talking about.

Go to Tunbridge Wells a lot, usually have the lemon drizzle cake. It's usually stale and dry now.
Last week it was so hard it hurt my hand to break it up with a fork. Must have been at least a week old?
Costs nearly £5, not good enough!

Jamaica blue bracknell. Where to start .disgusting food disgusting service. Ordered 2 coffees 2 big breakfasts over £30 and we have never eaten or didn't in this case as it wasn't edible. My wife's scrambled eggs where dry rubbery and flavourless .my fried eggs where brown and crispy underneath totally over cooked. Both our mushrooms where oily and chewy our tomatoes were barely cooked. The bacon was again over cooked and crunchy. The toast had a stale taste and was barely toasted and not butter.The Cumberland sausages where cheap skinny flavourless.the hash browns where barely cooked and soggy.the only thing that was ok was the coffee.
SERVICE: The service was terrible and to be honest alarm bells should have been ringing sooner.just the fact the waitress or waiter didn't come and ask how everything was after serving us should have been a warning. The fact that no one was interested how the meal was after they have taken your money is disrespectful to customers. Infact they don't come back to clear the table until you get up and leave.We bought a second coffee and when the waitress came out we told her to clear the uneaten breakfasts as they where disgusting and I explained why and asked she informed the manager of our complaint. She took one plate and never returned for the other nor did a senior member of staff bother to come out to try and resolve the issue they just left us sat there.Only when we got up and walked away did she come straight out and cleared the table. This establishment clearly doesn't value its customers nor does it care about the quality of its food as its clear once you pay they no longer care.Also the fact I have a disability and on crutches and I made the waitress aware of our complaint its not for me to go chasing around looking for a manager .they should have come to us.
