We recently had the pleasure of working with Andreia and Allan when purchasing our new Dacia Duster Journey
When we visited the garage the sales advisor was attentive and helpful. Andreia made sure we were given the information necessary to help us make the correct decision on which car to purchase. She was respectful of our budget and didn't try to pressure us into anything we'd regret.
Although we weren't in a position to test drive the car that day she made us aware of its capabilities. We were kept informed throughout the process to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Further assistance from Allan helped us complete the deal and the ferry arrangements for delivery to Orkney.
All in all the staff at John Clarks, Renault Dacia, Aberdeen were tremendous and made our experience one to remember. Buying a car can be stressful but they made the experience easy with their knowledge and patience. Outstanding service. We highly recommend this garage.

Great experience at BYD Aberdeen
I had a really positive experience with BYD Aberdeen. From the beginning, the whole process was smooth, professional and stress-free.
A special thank you to Rorie, who was very helpful, friendly and always happy to answer my questions. His communication was excellent and he made the whole buying process much easier.
I would also like to thank his manager for the professional and customer-focused approach. It was clear that the team genuinely cared about providing a good experience.

I’ve just purchased my first BYD car, a Dolphin G, and I couldn’t be happier with both the car and the service I received from John Clark BYD Aberdeen.
Jack Edmonstone handled my initial enquiry all the way through the sale and car handover. The service from start to finish was efficient, clear and impeccable.
Jack is incredibly knowledgeable about the cars available and took the time to understand my requirements, helping me identify the right make and model for my specific needs. Nothing ever felt rushed or pressured, and he was always happy to answer my questions and explain everything clearly.
The Dolphin G is a really great car, and I’m delighted with my purchase. But I would highly, highly recommend getting in touch with Jack if you’re considering a BYD. His service was impeccable, and his knowledge and professionalism really stood out.

purchased byd dolphin surf 10th…
purchased byd dolphin surf 10th september 2026 within 24 hours back number plate lost, then i discovered when locking car 4 doors locked but boot did not lock making vehicle insecure john clark booked car in for 9th october 2026 to check, then 18th september front number plate lost, within 9 days have had to drive back to john clark and report and get replacement number plates with an insecure vehicle insurance company would not entertain if making a claim

Had a problem with my new van bought…
bought a brand new 25 plate Renault traffic , once collected I noticed the steering wheel was off centre while driving in a straight line took van back I was told the issue was fixed, later i noticed the drivers front wheel was wearing irregular so contacted them again and was told they couldn't do anything about it so I had to take it else where and it was found the wheel alignment was way off, the van has never been kerb,d or had any knocks this was the way I got it from the factory, worst thing about it the back wheel is off and its fixed can't be adjusted poor show from a van straight from the factory
so basically I've just been fogged off after handing them near 30K
I have the report/printout from garage that carried out the diagnosis and repair

After spending nearly £30,000 on a brand-new vehicle, you would understandably expect it to be delivered in perfect condition and for any concerns raised afterwards to be investigated thoroughly.
Having read your review, it appears that your experience relates to a vehicle purchased and maintained through John Clark Renault, rather than John Clark BYD. While we appreciate your feedback and take all customer concerns seriously, we believe this review may have been posted on the wrong business page.
We will ensure your comments are passed on to our Renault colleagues so that they are aware of the issues you've described regarding the steering alignment, tyre wear, and the subsequent diagnosis and repair.
