2 new helmets from J&S Accessories Braintree

We purchased 2 new helmets from J&S Accessories in Braintree and found the staff to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We went through all the options and sizes and Omer ordered them in for us as they didn’t have them in stock at the time. They arrived 4 days later, we collected in store and they were checked over with us.
We would highly recommend the Braintree store and especially Omer who went out of his way to get us sorted with new helmets.

Great customer service

Ordered some armoured clothes from the warehouse that came damaged and didn't feel quite right, the Cardiff store were very helping exchanging these for more appropriate protective clothes.
Helped me have my goldilocks moment and find the perfect pair!
Also, gave great advice on accessories I needed but hadn't gotten yet as I was unsure which types were best, so all kitted out now for my upcoming CBT & to feel safer as a pillion 🥰

Excellent customer experience.

My experience of J & S Leeds has always been excellent. The staff are always there to offer help and advice with there products and services. I recently took my airbag vest in for a service. I was very impressed with the speed and quality of the service. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my bike gear. Many thanks to Martin, Heather, Danny, Leo and the rest of the staff.

Increase the price of price marked items

JS Accesories increase the price of price marked stock by sticking a translucent white label onto the old price, but the lower price is still clearly visible. Customer services refer you to the branch where you bought the item, but Farnborough don’t respond to your email.

Several visits now and every visit has been a joy, friendly and knowledgeable staff, fantastic choice of every type of product, such a change to feel like you are making the right purchase with experts on hand to guide you,
I visited the Northwitch branch and one member of staff I would mention is Tony but everyone was great there

Bad customer service.

I have been sat on the customer services chat for 30 minutes with no response from anyone.
Originally I was trying to price match but was offered a value half way inbetween themselves and the other store. Even though that was offered no info was given on how to apply the price on the website and am unable to speak to anyone. Not great customer service.

And that was that. So be warned, they only price match if they feel like it. I have now purchased from the other retailer, but I'll also not shop with J&S again. To me it's not a "promise" if they also "reserve the right to decline". It's about integrity, and I no longer trust that they have it.

First Bike helmet

I went to J&S accessories in Northwich to pick a helmet , first one ive ever had i went in with a mindset of i wanted a Scorpion helmet , a very nice young lady helped me when I told her what I wanted and it was my first helmet, she measured me and I picked a Scorpion helmet I wanted but it didn't fit really with my glasses so she came up with another make that accommodated for people who wear glasses, it fitted perfectly and looks really good she then put the clear visor on it and put the pinlock on for me so I didn't have to do it as my test was soon and I couldn't go on it with the smoked visor on . The young lady who works there is a credit to them she's so helpful and friendly with lots of knowledge I will definitely be going back to them for my biking gear .

Plymouth, asked for items not in store to be ordered in

E mailed phoned, arranged for pairs of womens jeans to be in store to try on for my very tall girlfriend, nothing straight forward, apparently the phone line is/ was down, week later after e mailing to check, nearly sixty miles later, both turned up, basically couldn't be bothered to do as
promised on the day of the call... Over a week later...Infuriating as we went to buy
these items... Could expand on turning up
but Plymouth store, massive waste of
time, fine if you live local.. Pathetic

Cardiff j and s

The assistant that greeted me in the cardiff store last week was friendly and helpful.... I think his name was carl. He assisted me with finding everything i needed in the store and was knowledgeable regarding the products in stock, sizing etc. Highly recommend.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service in Southampton 1 hour in the store and not 1 staff member approached me to assist in my purchase. I was 1 of 2 people in the store and four members of staff, what a poor experience.
I still spent over £130 cheers then.

Great customer service…

I went there to see if they could assist in getting the Cardo pack talk edge to communicate with my iPhone. Although I didn’t buy it there the staff were great and sorted it out without a charge.

Check returns policy on goods bought…

Check returns policy on goods bought instore - this is different to online purchases. No refunds given only gift cards. I find this totally unacceptable and should be made clear. I will NEVER use this store again as a result of this policy.
