Absolutely fantastic nursery my son has asd and they have been amazing with him in getting him all the support he needs put into place so that they can meet his needs very well, nursery was fantastic helping with ehcp process for school starting in sept cannot fault them 1 bit staff are all really friendly

My son goes to Kids Planet Stalybridge and the girls in his room are all so lovely and really look after him so no complaints there. However, we will be moving him to a different nursery come the start of the new term which is the soonest we can do it because all higher management seem to care about is how much money they can squeeze out of parents rather than children’s development. There was zero transparency about the ‘Essentials and Extras charge’ that was tacked on to our bill and our bill recently also shot up by an extra £100 out of nowhere and with no warning. It’s not acceptable and the only explanation they could come up with it when I queried it was something about the funding not being able to be stretched over the full term. I want my son to develop and socialise but I also want to be able to afford to take him out to places and have fun with him when I’m not working which Kids Planet is making it increasingly difficult to do. I’m pretty sure that other parents will be following suit in leaving as in the current economy not many parents are going to accept a significant increase in a bill with no warning or explanation. A shame that money is the priority and not a mindset I can get on board with

There Weybridge nursery is surrounded by residental houses which have to suffer the constant noise throughout the day . They have done nothing to shelter the neighbours from the noise. If you thinbking of sending your kids to the weybridge branch . Please DONT.....please.

My daughter has been with kids planet day nurseries (west bridgford site) since she was in the baby room, she is now in the pre school room getting ready to leave for school in September. We’ve had the most amount of support from all staff in each room and I couldn’t be happier with my child’s progression. Really happy I chose this nursery to send my child to and thank you for all the support you have given us throughout the years.

Kids Planet West Bridgford is a truly exceptional nursery that excels in every aspect of early childhood education. Our two children attend Kids Planet in West Bridgford and we have been really happy with our experience of the nursery. The team are absolutely amazing and I feel that they go above and beyond to make our children feel safe, secure and settled. This is evident from the very close bonds our children have made with many members of the team. In the last year, the nursery has made some really positive changes with the introduction of Udeskole - which has meant our children are spending a lot more time outside, learning new skills and understanding nature. We feel this has had huge benefits to the overall wellbeing of our children. The main reason we chose KP West Bridgford for our children was because of the small, family-feel setting that they've created and that we wanted for them. Both of our children had exceptional settling in experiences to the baby room, I cannot fault the level of care and attention to detail both of our children received during the initial settling period, and beyond (forever grateful Leah and team!). We as parents also felt supported and at ease that our children were well looked after, often receiving updates during the day about how they were doing (especially helpful during any teary drop offs!). The team are an absolute credit to the nursery and it's great to see that management recognise the importance of the team's wellbeing as much as the children's, something I believe is often overlooked at other settings. Everything taken care of by caring and attentive staff.

Kids planet has recently taken over our nursery and it has gone completely downhill. My child who has never refused food in the years he's been there under previous ownership, and the previous meal was very healthy, is now not eating any of the ridiculous menu choices put in place. He's having to have a sleep during the day again because he's starving there. He's coming home miserable. Frankly kids planet are not adequately looking after my child in my opinion.

I worked at multiple different kids planet nursery’s and they were all exactly the same. Poorly ran, terrible management, children’s basic needs were being ignored, certain staff would just ignore the children and shout at them for no reason at all. Then when they got whistleblowed on nothing was done at all and then there’s other staff that always tried their best but were constantly getting told off whilst the people who were actually messing up got nothing because they were ‘besties’ with management. This whole company is just focused on money money money they do not care about the children or staffs mental health. I genuinely feel so bad for the children left in the settings. The nursery’s are always dirty and the last setting I worked at was covered in mold and damp (the walls were literally falling apart!! And all the maintenance team did was just slap some plaster over the top which never helped the damp and mold just came back). Kids Planet has gone downhill majorly over the past few years and I would never ever recommend or want to work or send my child to one of these settings.

Honestly the worst company ever. They are all about money money money and getting as many children cramped into the buildings as they can. They do not care about the children or the staff. The management are the worst parts of the whole company, they only care about themselves not how parents feel or how the other staff are feeling. There is no surprise that i got told everyday at pick up that another staff member is leaving the setting. Honestly the best thing I have ever done is hand my child’s notice in. My daughter is so much happier at her new setting and you can really see the difference in how the staff act with each other and how different management is.

Kids Planet Wallasey is a fantastic Day nursery, my daughter started as a baby in the baby house right through to pre-school. The staff are outstanding, always putting the children’s needs first and providing them with the best care. Our 9 Month old has recently started baby house and loves his key worker and all the girls that look after him. He has already come on leaps and bounds in all areas of his development. The environment is so homely which makes us as parents feel so at ease knowing our little ones are so happy to come to the best nursery.

Kids planet Frodsham have been amazing. The staff are so passionate, you can tell they truly care for the children and love their job.
Our child goes in to nursery happily, no tears everyday, excited when going in to the arms and care of the staff and we can see throughout the day what and when he has eaten, drank, slept and been changed. We also get brilliant pictures of activities they have completed in the day.
We cannot thank the staff enough and love seeing our little one developing and making friends. Our experience has allowed me to return back to work with peace of mind that our baby is safe and well looked after.
Not only this, with transferring mid term we were left in a position were we couldnt access funding for the term despite the manager trying to get it for us. They assisted in every way they could to ensure we were able to keep his days and not reduce hours which helped massively. The staff are top tier, the setting is brilliant and everything we could ever want in a nursery for our baby.

My child attends kp frodsham and absolutely loves his time there. All the staff go above and beyond to ensure each child's needs are met. Couldn't have found a better nursery. Thank you for always being amazing.

Kids Planet Frodsham has been absolutely amazing! My daughter, Harley, started here at just 10 months old, and now, at 4 years old in her final year, I can confidently say that this nursery has played a huge role in her development.

Every single room she has been in has been fantastic, and the staff are just wonderful—kind, caring, and truly dedicated to the children. Harley has grown so much in confidence, and I know this nursery has been key to that. The vegan meals they prepare for her each day are incredible, and the effort they put into trips, activities, and keeping us updated through the app is second to none.

I will be so sad when she moves on to school, but I know she has had the best possible start thanks to Kids Planet Frodsham. The staff have been like family, and I have made some lifelong friends among them. A special mention to their fantastic manager, Leanne, who runs the nursery so well.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kids Planet Frodsham to anyone looking for a nurturing, supportive, and truly outstanding nursery. Thank you to every single person involved—you have made such a difference in our lives!

My son goes to Mansion House Kids Planet. He's very happy there. Management is great too.

The whole company completely ruined my mental health and they do not care about anything other than getting as many families in so they can make as much money as possible even when they don’t have the staff for the amount of children. Staff are treated like slaves and are expected to do so much with no appreciation or thanks. Staff are so under paid for everything that they do. The work pressure is far to much for anyone to cope with and been expected to do all the key children’s daily snapshots and assessments alongside everything else and being sent to other nurseries all the time as they are short staffed. The constant pressure from knowing that the QIV (like an internal ofsted) is so stressful and overwhelming. The staff can’t take much more. It’s no surprise we are all leaving.

Kids planet recently took over my children’s nursery, as by the sounds of it many others. The company set about carpet bombing the place to put their stamp on it. The fees increased, a ghost fee for ‘consumables’ was added, total funded hours decreased and they brought all of this lifeless brown and beige furniture in to the rooms. Here’s something that may be shocking, kids don’t care about what the furniture looks like, they want colourful and inviting atmospheres. You’re a corporate beast who are sucking the life out of the nursery I once loved my kids going to. Incredibly disappointing all to try to appease the shareholders.

The kids now dislike going to nursery, they cry whenever we drop them off (they used to be so happy going) and cry whenever they get picked up.

The only saving grace is the staff have largely remained the same.

If you see a nursery is run by Kids Planet, I would strongly advise against selecting it.

The staff are really lovely which is the main reason I choose the nursery. The manager and the room staff are are super friendly and helpful.
However the facilities are in need of upgrading.
The rooms are dark and grubby. The rooms need painting, a good clean and some new toys and equipment.

Every parent dreads the day their child starts nursery. I know I did! All my worries melted away when I receive constant updates and pictures throughout the day of she’s getting on. The team at Kids Planet Apley are amazing, they provide a safe and welcoming environment. Immaculately clean and brilliant stimulation provided encouraging constant learning. Excellent menu choices, plenty of variety. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds, can honestly say she has made such progress. She has such a special bond with Sophie and Amber it’s lovely. I can’t recommend this nursery enough for any parent in search of one. Only positive feedback from me.
