Made the sale of my house and the purchase of the new one run smoothly. The online portal kept you informed, which made it easier to see how things where progressing without having to phone every five minutes. When contacting they always respond within 24 hrs either by email or by phone. When buying next home will definitely consider using this firm again

Very disappointed with the service I have been receiving. Have given up wasting my time trying to call for an update as it is impossible to get a call back from my case handler. I understand they're busy but a 5 minute phone call for a quick update doesn't take much time. Getting a response through email is also no better, very rarely get a reply. My estate agent who recommended this firm also struggles to get an update. Sale nearly going on a year now and haven't been impressed, I wouldn't mind it taking so long if I could get an answer to emails and be updated regularly.

Matthew Hosseiny was very helpful and answered all my questions with great patience. Replied very quickly and got it all sorted with no problems

Joshua Henty dealt with the sale of my property and was brilliant throughout. His responses were timely, clear and my expectations were managed well throughout the process, especially with added complications of a Help to Buy loan. I would thoroughly recommend Kirkstall if you are looking to sell your property - I have had horrible experiences with solicitors in the past, but this time Josh and team really set the bar high. Really disappointed with the services, such a shame. They will never ever pick a phone call, request to a call back request. Communication is very poor and every time you will get a standard response that "of course we will get back asap". They have a portal which does not help either. I wish I had opted for a different firm for my property purchase.

We really appreciated the ease of everything being online and being able to track our progress through our secure tracker. Matthew Hosseiny became our solicitor after a few weeks in, he moved things along really quickly and kept us informed of every step along the way. He would answer our messages almost immediately which was so good when moving is already so stressful. We really appreciated his hard work on our behalf.

Having an online solicitor was really good at tracking through progress of our sale and purchase, to start with the process seemed smooth and faultless. We were close to exchange when things went really quiet and we really struggled to get through to anyone on the phone however after this Bobbie really stepped up and was fantastic at pushing our case through to get us moved in.

Communication was difficult at times but I cannot fault the work and effort Bobbie put it, thank you Bobbie!

To be honest, the start of my experience wasn’t great hence the one star being knocked off but the experience got better over time. My sale was fairly smooth but I didn’t appreciate the lack of explanation about what to fill in and not putting things into layman’s terms. However, things did improve and the communication did get better.

I really liked that almost everything was completed online through a simple portal. I could use a messaging service to contact people, upload all forms, and check progress at any time. It was really straight forward.

Simple online portal for all activity and really good and simple chat facility to check on progress and chat with the team. Excellent service all round.

Anybody know how you get hold of them? They don't answer the phone or reply to messages. Our contact Bobby Patterson is impossible to contact. Mr Dobson the "manager" also impossible to get hold of.

We have just sold our house using Kirkstall and from our experience would recommend them to family and friends. As long as you are confident using an online system then I would say use them.

This hasn't been a good experience for us, even leading up to our completion when we were invited, even on the last day, to change the day of completion due to the conveyancer being 'unable' to contact other parties, even though all parties had agreed a completion date, and the removal people were due to move us in the next 10 minutes. Only when further pressure was put on them via our Estate Agents, we're they spurred to make more effort. Truly an anxious day.

Perfect means for conveyancing on line with regular updates via the portal. Used enact previously, and although kirkstall prices were slightly higher,everything went through smoothly and would recommend them.
