Had two roof Korniche roof lantern’s supplied and fitted by our builder and was told they came with a 10 year warranty, four years on and the paint on the corners and top caps started to flake and corrode, along with some exterior trims, I contacted Korniche after sales and I can’t express how helpful Lucy was to sort out the replace parts, however one of Lucy’s technical colleagues told her that as I live a mile plus from the sea the Lanterns would only have a warranty of five years, which is pretty disappointing considering we were never informed of this before we spent so much money, so when this happens again we will have to start all over again, and replace the Lanterns, Anyway a massive thank you again to Lucy for all her time and help it’s greatly appreciated.

We had the privilege of being given a tour of the Korniche Factory, the quality and mixture of products they supply is outstanding. We were given a demonstration of how easily the new Korniche Lantern's can be put together, it is very obvious that they had the installers in mind when creating this product. I was very impressed with the company and all the products they have to offer.

Great skylight. Good quality. I have contacted them twice. First one was an installation question and they visited and sorted it all out (my error). Second, I wanted extra clips to a standard installation, and the following day (Saturday) they arrived FOC. Thoroughly recommend.

Ordered my bifold with great ease, the experience was hassle free and well supported from the sales team. My door arrived on the expected date with zero installation issues. I had bifold doors fitted with inwards opening doors, unfortunately they started leaking water inside my house so my fitter asked the supplier to call out as he did all he could to rectify the problem.

The manufacturers turned up today (Richie & Owen) 2 great guys that knew the issue the minute they walked out it turned out it was a manufacturing defect to which they were able to rectify on site.

These 2 guys were very professional respected my property cleaned up after themselves and hopefully left my doors leak proof now, however if they were to leak again they’ve told me no questions asked they’ll be fully replaced at there expense that’s good to no, also they told me when they’ve been out to this type of defect they’ve never had to go back out that there confident in there repair so that was very reassuring for myself an partner as it’s been very stressful for 6 weeks of water seeping through.

So on that note I’d like to thank Richie & Owen for there expertise and friendly manner whilst doing the repair they explained everything to me from why it leaked water to why there confident it won’t happen again thanks again guys you’ve made us happy and can now enjoy the use of our new doors

We are modernising a 1960's two bedroom bungalow.
It had the old style of a small kitchen next to a dining room.
The kitchen had a back door and separate window, the dining room had a door and two full height side panes.
Our plan was to take the wall out between the kitchen and dining room and install two Bifold doors, a double in the kitchen area and a triple in the dining room.
We looked at various bi fold manufactures and found a U-Tube video from Skill Builder showing how to install the Korniche doors.
I visited the Korniche showroom and had a long chat with Craig about the project. He was super helpful, explaining how the doors work and various options available.
We decided to go with Korniche and am so pleased we did.
Craig explained that to have the minimum threshold I need to have the cill base 58 to 60mm below the finished floor level.
I followed his advice and everyone who has seen the doors has commented how neat they are and what a difference not needing to "step over" makes.
I installed the doors with concrete screws and just kept checking that everything was level and square.
The action of the doors is sublime, they glide with minimum effort . We also went for the integral blinds which are also a very neat addition.
Craig advised me on how to specify the doors for opening and we can now open the kitchen doors to the left, the dining room doors to the right and really bring the outside into the bungalow.
One word for Korniche - AWESOME.

Absolutely Brilliant, we acquired a bifold door also skylight and have to say they are money well spent, also there customer service is second to none, very professional and prompt in dealing with your requirements, overall ime very pleased and I would recommend this company.

After having issues with our bifold doors for a while, I had Richie & Owen come out to fix them. They knew exactly what the problem was and had them fixed in no time. Very professional to deal with, highly recommend.

I had to call Korniche a few times when my builder asked me for the specific measurement of a roof lantern internal and external openings; the frame/sash depth of a sliding door etc. Ryan has been so so helpful and gave me the exact information my builder required. You are a star! Thank you.

I noticed some wear on the head track of our newly fitted bifold door and emailed Korniche for some explanation. Lucy was straight back intouch with me for more details, I sent some pictures and videos, the service I received was excellent my concerns were taken very seriously and my worries put to rest that it would be looked into. James contacted me and had a resolution and organise a team to come a resolve to issue. Richie and Owen did an excellent job rectifying the issue and were extremely professional and polite. I can honestly say the whole process could not have been dealt with in a more professional and customer friendly way. Thank you all involved.

I purchased two Korniche roof lanterns in June 2019, and while I was initially impressed with their sleek design and apparent build quality, I’ve recently encountered a disappointing issue. The paint on both lanterns has started to bubble and peel, specifically on the aluminium cast parts, which is concerning given the relatively short time they’ve been in service and the premium nature of the product.

These lanterns were installed in a well-maintained environment, and I would have expected the finish to withstand the elements for much longer. The deterioration not only affects the visual appeal but also raises serious concerns about the long-term durability and corrosion resistance of the components.

I contacted the company that supplied the lanterns on behalf of Korniche and was advised that the issue was covered under warranty. However, when the replacement parts arrived, I was disappointed to find that the protective paint finish was poorly applied — thin coverage, missing paint on the rear surfaces, and visible imperfections where bare material was exposed. It’s no surprise these parts corrode so easily.

In my opinion, these components either need to be manufactured from plastic or finished with a high-quality powder coating to ensure longevity. To prevent future issues, I’ve had the replacement parts professionally stripped and powder coated to a standard far superior to the original finish.

While I appreciate the warranty support, the quality of the replacement parts and the original finish has left me questioning the long-term reliability of the product.

Great service from Laura, noticed that a small piece of seal was missing from the bi fold doors our builder installed 3 years ago. Contacted the company and Laura arranged for some replacement seal to be sent out without hesitation. About 4 metres of seal arrived promptly the very next day, so ive fixed the missing part and now have spare for future.

Cant ask for for than that.

Nothing but great things to say about the after sales service from Korniche and Laura in particular! Having some issues and trying to locate parts Laura was very quick to advise and put the spares in the post as part of warranty… amazing service

Spoke with Lucy Stuart who went over and beyond to solve my problem with Bifold doors. She sent all parts out next day delivery and kept in contact with me through out the process. Thank you so much Lucy great service.

Had some repair works carried out on my bifolds and have been left feeling delighted. Two skilled, friendly, polite, go the extra mile individuals (from the northeast) did a superb job with a smile on their faces. They are a credit to your organisation and I wouldnt hesitate in recommending them.
