I give praise when it is deserved.

I have to rate my grocery order on June 21st 5 stars. This was the first time in over a year that all of my cart items were in stock. I got a superb InstaCart shopper named Leon who double bagged everything correctly and did not tie the inner bag in a knot. Plus he was quick. I ordered 2 pounds of deli cheese and actually got most of my slices with paper dividers as requested. I read the deli cheese reviews and management is making the cheese slicers cut back on paper. Also all of my coupons were applied, amazing. Mt. Sterling, Ky Kroger

Horrible experience

If I could rate Kroger a (0) I would. The experience was horrible! Whoever does their shopping needs training as they don't read expiration dates. My order came with 6-7 items that were near expiration. In dealing with customer service, they clearly don't listen or know their customer as I stated several times, I will never shop their again. Once is more than enough for me! This includes a call to their corporate office. It seems like they try to force you to shop there only offering a credit to their shoppers' card. It took several emails, call to Kroger and finally I got fed up and just called my bank for a real refund. Such drama for nothing!! Don't do it shop elsewhere!!

why people go to walmart

kroger consistently advertises products with prices that they have no intention of honoring. this all started happening when shell oil bought out the original owners. time and time again they get customers to come in with false advertising. to numerous times to list here, but this time it was for ribeye bone in steaks family pack. for three days since the circular week began, there have ben none to be had. and the meat counter was closed all three days. i was told on a thursday that all they had were ribeye roasts. on saturday i was told that there was no one there to cut them.

I ordered Kroger delivery because the items were on sale and the next day I got a random notification that my charge was adjusted $20 MORE. I called them and they told me it was because the item price changed the next day. I ALREADY PAID FOR MY ORDER and they are allowed to just change the price of my order the next day. This is insane and nobody should shop here!!!

I placed an online order. I spent a great deal of money but I was supposed to get deals on everything. The next day when it was delivered, I discovered that I didn't get most of the sales, they made substitutions that i didn't approve and left items off. They refused to give me a refund and would only give me store credit. I placed another order, the total reflected the store credit and the shopper confirmed that my store credit was applied. I received the receipt today and checked my bank account, they didn't apply my store credit. I spent almost 40 mins talking to kroger customer service and they were absolutely unhelpful! They are essentially stealing from me and the only "help" they are offering is to talk to their IT department to find out what happened. Do NOT order from kroger unless you want them to steal from you!

100% of the time when I am crazy enough to think Kroger will get an order right, they fail me once again. I placed an order for delivery at 3:30. At 5:00 i called and was on hold for thirty minutes while Kroger figured out why the failed once again. By 5:30 they decided they would deliver my order 'in the next thirty minutes'. This is LaGrange Kentucky. Sad. Every time.

I live in Sarasota and find Kroger's delivery outstanding. All fresh produce is a nice size, tastes great, and is in perfect condition. They deliver at the correct time that I picked. The drivers are kind and helpful. I save money with the many digital coupons and have fair prices. I purchased the yearly membership and on my second delivery, they gave me $25 off my grocery bill. With that, the cost for a year of delivery was $29 and drivers do not take tips from customers. They leave groceries at your door or will bring them in and set them where you want them. I will never end this service, it's great.

Kroger charges higher than posted prices

Kroger charges higher than their posted prices.

While using self check out at my local store in Rockwall Texas I noticed the price on the register was higher than the (not on sale) price posted next to the product. When I asked for a price adjustment I was told by the store manager (Theo) Kroger does not honor their posted prices and he could not correct the price on the register.

I called Kroger’s corporate office and they did not deny this is their procedure.

When they made mistakes because of their system, they didn’t accept it instead of that, they blamed it on the client end and refused to solve the problems fairly. This is such a worse solution of the big company like kroger treat their client poorly and unfair!
Hopefully they have the better leader to train their employees better

Kroger delivery

In Groveland, FL, Kroger delivery will not hire anyone age 50 and above per what the Kroger recruiter emphatically states. I have had a variety of enthusiastic young people deliver, those in their 20's-40's. Most ask for a tip. But the Kroger delivery people make $30,000-$40,000 a year and only have a high school diploma. I do not tip. I enjoy getting my Kroger deliveries. No issues at all.

I AM HUNGRY

Rang my groceries at self checkout kiosk and used my debit card. The computer glitched and took my money from my account but didn't approve my order. Called bank and yes Kroger got my money but the store wouldn't give me my groceries. Went to the bank the same day and got a copy of my bank statement. THERE IT WAS KROGER GOT MY MONEY!! I was told to contact Kroger customer service. One week later I am sitting here with no groceries and no refund. I am a senior on SS barely making it. I hope the bigwig corporates are enjoying their lunch today

I ordered on line

I ordered on line, paid, got a delivery date and then they never delivered my food. When I called they said it was delivered! But where? Wrong building, wrong apartment? So far, after over 2 weeks of phone calls, no refund as promised! They stopped delivering in my area. Bad customer service, Rotten produce, and always out of items that were ordered. Not reliable.

A HORROR STORY!

I heard quite a few horror stories about the Kroger Wesley Chapel location. Steer wide and clear of this location. Store Manager has no business with this job, PERIOD!!! Harassing your employees and expecting good performance. I have never heard or seen anything like the horrible treatment from the so called “Manager”. Manager can’t and shouldn’t be managing ANYONE! You have to have a special mindset and SKILLS to properly do this job and baby she’s NOT IT! She should be removed IMMEDIATELY! She has no interest in learning to do the job properly. Just collect coins and slave drive. Definitely don’t go there looking for work unless you trying to punish yourself. NOT WORTH IT! It’s been going on forever so the requested date is a joke.

It looks like from looking at the reviews that Kroger's don't even care enough to respond or try to settle any of the horrible reviews that I see they have on here. I went in last week and I'm using a WIC card and an EBT card food stamps and the girl tells me to slide my EBT card first and I've been doing this for a long time and I said no no I have to slide my wick first so then I was told well we've done the food stamps such as split it up how much do you want to pay on food and how much towards WIC I said well I don't even know how much work I have there and I shouldn't have to be doing this in the first place so I use the coupon that I had for a free pizza and my food stamp card ended up covering the free pizza after it was all said and done I had to pay for it it wasn't free in the least, and also my food stamp card also paid for a lot of the items that were WIC eligible items that my WIC should have covered not my EBT. So with me having a problem with the manager in the past and having to file a complaint I called their customer service number and I explained to the lady what was going on which I did previously too and the customer service agent on the phone took care of it right then and there. Well pretty much refuse to help me this lady on the phone did today at customer service, so I just ended up hanging up the telephone. I guess and I'm going to call my WIC office and let my WIC office know what they're doing they shouldn't be having people scan or run their EBT cards first WIC is supposed to come off first for every transaction you ever do that you're using WIC! So my food stamp card back to back ends up getting charged different amounts and then I get credited back and amount. So thank you very much Kroger's for ripping me off! I'll never shop back here again and what kind of company doesn't respond to bad reviews one that's guilty of it all that's what kind of company it is

I hate KROGER

Like having your information stolen and then someone going on a shopping spree at Kroger? Like calling to cancel the order and they don't and then spending MONTHS sorting it out with your bank, and then hours, upon hours, on the KROGER hotline talking to people in India with roosters crowing in the background and getting zero help. Decades as a customer and can't get ahold of a single person who knows how to even scratch their own butt? Shop at Kroger!
