What a catastrophe....
I ordered £380 worth of LED Lights, an LED transformer, and dimmer switches on 25th January 2021 as a retail consumer. I received a shipment after about a week minus the dimmer switches - and the wrong downlights - I ordered 12W Fire Rated LED downlights and got ordinary 8W downlights instead all previously opened and the magnetic outer surface bezel missing from one of the downlights, they didn't have another bezel to replace the missing bezel.
I was given an apology plus a UPS returns label and returned the 8W downlights with an email explanation that the 12W Fire Rated lights were no longer available and got a credit for them and the dimmers. Fair enough!
I tested everything to check that everything on my order worked, all worked, but foolishly I forgot to measure the length of the LED strip lights.
The 5m roll of 24V LED lights ordered measured 3.1m again the package had been previously opened and had been cut short. When I complained on Feb 27th that I was short changed on the length of 24V LEDs I got this response
"The RGB is always delivered in rolls of 5m it is seldom to have 3M in a roll
I'll investigate and send a replacement
However this order was delivered a months ago it is better to advise us earlier when you have issues with an order."
So today, I got the replacement 24V LED roll, all 1.9m of it in marked 5m packaging. So now I have 5m in total, just not in one length.... go figure. I wanted 5m in one roll, I now have 5m in two lengths with two sets of 4 wire connectors. I was trying to build a dropped ceiling light box with enclosed downlights and a strip of LED uplights. The 1.9m strip was cut right to the edge of the cut point so that I wouldn't be able to joint it and would have to lose another 6 LEDS. The fact that it was a 1.9m roll made me think that it was very petty, why couldn't I get a replacement 5m roll? I would have returned the 3.1m roll in return.
Draw your own conclusions about - not a positive experience for me.
