A small, very professional and enthusiastic estate agency. Peter really pulled out all the stops to help us. Honest, fair and polite.

I have just completed a purchase with Lextons. On viewing the property it was explained that due to the competitive price of the property (as set by the vendor) there would be a stage to register interest and then put in your bid. This is precisely what happened. Throughout the process I found the staff supportive and felt complete confidence in them. Viewing to completion about 9 weeks.

Lextons have been amazing, they live up to their reputation 100 percent . They got us many viewings on our property , they communicated every step of the way with honest feedback and always remained positive and helpful through our whole process. They offer a very friendly and personal service which is just what you need when going through selling and buying ! Big shout out to Ollie, George ( both very knowledgeable and helpful who we trusted impeccably ) and to Karen who was a gem when dealing with our sale! Karen always followed up quickly on questions and helped out with anything we needed to know taking queries seamlessly out of our hands, I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again . Thank you !

Karen did a brilliant job! There were 5 in the chain and we were at bottom end, however dispite many technical legal issues and broken imposed deadlines she kept the chain intact. I have used a number of estate agents over the years and found the service from Karen to be exceptional.

The team at Lextons are what you would hope to find at an Estate agents, but in my experience rarely do. I found them to be professional and diligent. They handled my sale and ensured it got over the line, I have had experience of other estate agents in Brighton with very mixed outcomes. They are the best in Brighton.

We’ve just recently sold our property through Lextons and our overall experience was fantastic! Ollie and George helped us in the initial stages with getting the house onto the market and sold. We had constant communications and when our first buyers unfortunately pulled out on the day of exchange, they already had a list of people to view it within a day and within less than a week we had a new buyer! We were so grateful for their hard work and dedication to getting things back on track. Karen then dealt with the sale and again, we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Karen was always in touch, easy to talk to and proactive in helping us understand what was happening in the chain and what the next steps were. We have just exchanged on a flat through Lextons in Hove and must say that they have been excellent from start to finish, providing a friendly, efficient and professional service. We had almost daily phone calls from karen giving us updates on progress, being new to the area we appreciated her advice about the process etc... We highly recommend the Hove team (Karen, James and George) they have been great.

We were very impressed by the quality of service provided by Lextons. Peter Phillips met with us initially and was very efficient in setting things up for us. The attention to detail was exceptional. Peter's team are impressive. Ollie and Georgia kept us informed about viewings and gave us regular feedback. Once an offer had been accepted and the sale was progressing, Karen Franks picked up the after sales process and did an amazing job for us. We were kept well informed by her and if communication with the solicitor became stuck, Karen would pursue the information we needed. We would highly recommend this estate agent.

Lextons is a fantastic agent and as a buyer I was very impressed at the level of service they gave. Peter helped negotiate the offer on the property and managed to secure it for me when it looked like it would fall through. George was very friendly and helpful during viewings, and Karen did a fantastic job overseeing the purchase and moving it forward to completion. I was particularly impressed at how pro-active Karen was, emailing me almost every week with updates and keeping in touch with both solicitors. Finally an agent I didn't have to "chase" but who took the initiative throughout! Any concerns and questions were responded to promptly - an outstanding level of customer service.

The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating is this: Buyers should be aware that once they have an offer accepted on a property, the policy at Lextons is that the property will NOT be shown as "Sold STC" online, as most other estate agents would show it at this point. This means that the property you're hoping to buy will still appear as available to anyone searching online (whether on Rightmove or other sites). Lextons do promise that they won't conduct any further viewings on the property - they just take contact details for anyone who's interested in case the sale should fall through. However, as a buyer I found this added an unnecessary layer of anxiety for me, as I felt it increased the possibility of my offer being gazumped after I was already financially and emotionally invested in the property. So if you're a buyer, just be aware of this, and if you're a seller, it should work in your favour.

But otherwise I couldn't fault the level of service Lextons provided and would highly recommend them.

Really good service. The only agency to get it right first time! As a purchaser I had already looked around a number of apartments with other agencies. But on my first outing with Lextons they showed me around two properties - the second of which I made an offer on, and then went on to purchase. They gave sound advice on bid/offer price. So, all round, a very tailored service!

I can't speak highly enough of Lextons. They helped us to sell our property a couple of months ago. From start to finish impressive and professional (so much better than the previous agent we had tried) I love the fact they have all of the sales team round to walk through the house with the owner, it means they can actually sell the property rather than just show people round. They priced our property fairly and got us a great price in a challenging market. From top to bottom advice was given and issues overcome, Peter Phillips was great hearing our issues with onward purchase and offering genuine and trust worthy advice. Oli Lucraft, for actually selling our house. Karen Franks, you were amazing in keeping the sale in place and chasing up and down the chain to the right extent (not like the agent we bought from, they were horrendous). I cannot thank you all enough and will only recommend Lextons to anyone buying or selling.

We didn’t encounter the best experience with Lextons even though we were buying and selling through the same agent. They seem to be more about the money they will get rather than the service they would give. They were more on the side of our buyer (who was paying nothing to them) rather than us. The only reason they have any stars is that one of their agents George was very delightful

We are simply delighted that we used Lextons! They managed the whole sale and purchase process for us with professionalism and the utmost care. Peter and James guided us through the initial stages, explaining everything clearly and thoroughly. From here, Karen took over the main negotiations and was incredible - the only way to describe it. Karen kept us informed every step of the way and when some unforeseen complications arose with the sale, she managed these calmly and with great skill. All matters were resolved patiently and deftly and our fears of losing the home we wanted were allayed. Indeed we moved in a week ago!
We are indebted to Lextons - especially Peter, James and Karen - and we cannot thank them enough for making it possible for us to move into our beautiful home. We could not recommend them highly enough.

I can honestly say having moved a number of times that Lextons are by far the best estate agency I have ever come across. The entire team are excellent, super efficient, friendly, nothing is too much trouble. I liked Peter from the minute I met him and knew I wanted them to sell our place. He totally knew the sort of buyer who would suit us and George sold our place before it even made it to market and at the full asking price. What more could you ask for? Karen joined after we were already under offer, picked up the sales progression straight away and ran with it. She has been a total star, really helpful when we had some tricky moments. Her calm and professional wisdom kept everything on track. We have now exchanged and cannot wait to start the next chapter of our lives. I recommend Lextons 100% to anyone. From the minute I switched my Estate Agent to Lextons I knew I had made the right decision. Lextons generated significantly more viewings than any other agent I had previously. They were extremely pro-active, efficient and kept me very well informed in every aspect of my sale. Amazing service!

Have just exchanged on a flat marketed by Lexton's. George Meyer was great in getting me in to see it immediately, and getting an offer accepted very quickly. Karen Franks then took over the process from the accepted offer to exchange/completion, and she was amazing.

Although the vendor was obviously Lexton's client, the service I received as a buyer was incredible.

Karen kept me updated throughout the process, particularly when my solicitors were busy. Her knowledge of the legal aspects of buying/selling property was impressive, and she was able to explain each step of the process to me in a way that made sense, and to alert me to specific points in the process where my input would be needed so that we could progress the purchase quickly.

Karen responded to all of my questions in a very timely fashion, and did everything possible to make the process as smooth as possible. When we hit the inevitable bumps and frustrations that arise when buying and selling property, Karen managed to keep me sane!

In short, Lexton's, and particularly Karen, went above and beyond, and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Having recently sold our house in Hove with Lextons, I would thoroughly recommend them.

A very helpful, knowledgable and efficient service. An agent that actually does what they promise (and more) with genuinely friendly and honest staff. Although they were acting for our sellers I'm glad they were part of the chain as they were key in resolving issues that arose. I would use them myself in the future and recommend them to others.
