My 84 yr old father was so worried about a direct debt of £1 then £399.95p 10 days later that he asked me what it was.. as my brother n i sort all his bills for him alarm bells rang.. tried calling the company but no answer so went direct to his bank .. its fraud... direct debt was never authorised by my father. His bank has cancelled the direct debt n claimed back his money. My father has no access to internet or computer n never stays on the phone to someone he dont know so its a mystery how they got his bank details in the first place.. anyone with elderly parents check they haven't been scammed.

This is a total con my 85-year-old mum was robbed of a pound and then £399 and she didn’t even sign up to anything she doesn’t have Internet banking she didn’t agree to anything on the phone.
the bank has been very good and she’s going to try and refund the money and cancel the direct debit. these people are despicable!!!!!!!

Our 89 year old widowed neighbour was 'signed up' for this Lifestyle Perks Card and a payment of £1.00 was taken from her bank account followed by £399.95 two days later on 25th March 2022. She is infirm, virtually housebound, vulnerable and trusting of people. A perfect target for a Scam. I have contacted the company and advised them that the card cannot be activated (she does not a computer or internet access) and requested a full refund. I am submitting a report to the Money section of The Daily Telegraph to the Katie Morley Investigates column and I urge others caught out by this Scam to do the same. It is a disgrace.

Just checking my mothers bank account who I have POA for and found the same as all the other revues I've read here. Shame the law can't do anything about these people. FYI direct debits are being taken by; Eazy Collection Services Ltd., 1 Teddit Mews, Winchcombe St. Cheltenham, GL52 4NF. Tel. # 01206675847.
Total scam just scammed my elderly 80 year old uncle took £1.00 from his account and another payment for £399.95. He is reporting them to police. Disgraceful preying on the vulnerable!!!!

Robbed my Mum of 399.99 on auto renew. My Mum did not agree to anything, she is in a Nursing Home with no access to a phone or internet. This scam needs investigating by the Police before more vulnerable elderly individuals are targeted. They are taking money with no agreement at all. shocking and upsetting. Check all your elderly relatives and their accounts monthly until they lock these evil people up for good. Reported to the HSBC as fraud scam.

Hope you are are proud of yourself. Robbing Old people of there savings and money. I hope the police and banks catch up with you and take action against you. There is not one good word to be said about you. I wish you a totally crap life and hope you rot in hell

I have POA for my Mum who has recently been widowed. Checking Bank Statement, same as previous reviews. Taken a pound, then £399. Have cancelled DD & contacting Bank Now. It is just horrible treating older people this way.

Respuesta de Lifestyle Perks
Despicable and disgusting scammers they are. Seeing other reviews seems like they used the same tactics when contacted my 96 year old Father who lives alone and has limited mobility. They did the £1 "tester" transaction on one day then they did £399.95 a few days later so bagged themselves £400.95. Thankfully the bank were very understanding when we contacted them after spotting it on the bank statement and the bank put the money back. This company should be shut down, they prey on the elderly and when we contacted them they said Father had agreed to take out membership and that they had sent out a welcome pack and as he didn't reply within 14 days they took the money. It was a load of nonsense they didn't send him anything. Another thing is they say they only deal with people who are 18-70 what a load of lies from them. Have reported them to local police and also to Action Fraud.

Minus stars. This company reported to the bank and to Action Fraud as a suspect company. I am Lasting Power of attorney for my parents and on checking their account tonight have discovered an unauthorised Direct Debit for Lifestyle Perks. They took £1 on the 8th April and £399.95 a few days later, I have cancelled the Direct debit and the bank are investigating. I have emailed them to tell them I have cancelled the DD and any agreement plus I have requested a refund of the money. We shall see. Please warn elderly and vulnerable relations about speaking to anyone they don't know on the phone. Despicable business practices.

Respuesta de Lifestyle Perks
They phoned my father pretending to be from the council they asked for his bank details so they could put in the £150 government grant. They then took out a pound followed by £399.95 this has caused so much stress to my elderly father the bank has refunded his money but this took 2hrs with the phone lines being so busy this company needs closing down and the people incharge locking up does not deserve any star rating

Avoid this company completely!! My mother had a call saying she was owed a refund for her washing machine (£170). They got her account details and scammed £399.99 out of her account by direct debit which she hadn't even set up! They took £1 out a few days before... a tester most likely... Went to the bank and managed to get the DD cancelled, rang this company and they've promised they'll refund the £400 but I'm doubtful, we'll see!!
Lifestyle Perks, you are a disgrace!!

Respuesta de Lifestyle Perks
This a potentially fraudulent sales operation. If they have taken money from you or a loved ones bank account via a DD , the bank will get the money back from them.
Shocking practice of preying on the vulnerable. Stay away from them.

Respuesta de Lifestyle Perks
This company defrauded my dad with dementia out of £399.99 via a direct debit. I don’t know how they did it as he had not passed on bank details

Respuesta de Lifestyle Perks
I don’t know who you are you how you got my grandmothers details to fraudulently set up a direct debit on her bank account for £399.95?!? She is completely house bound, 90years old and doesn’t even have access to her bank details because I deal with her financial affairs - I WILL NOT be emailing you to ‘get this resolved’ as per your autonomous responses to EVERY single other complaint on here as there is no such welcome pack nor agreement from people to even exist. Absolute robbing cretins. Rot in hell.

Respuesta de Lifestyle Perks
Total scam. £1 was taken out of my elderly mothers account last week. We contacted them to cancel and say the direct debit was unauthorised. They said they would cancel but notice £400 has since gone out of her account. Have contacted them for a refund, watch this space to see if it will be forthcoming! Will also be contacting trading standards. From the reviews here it is obvious they target vulnerable people. As someone else said if I could have given a zero rating or even a negative one I would have.

I'm afraid id give a minus star if i could for this company. Totally illegal im sure. They rung my 93 year old friend saying they were from Marks and Spencer and to look out for a letter. It did turn up a couple of days later and nothing to do with Marks and Spencer with a discount card attached to it that she never agreed to or would have any use for at all. It has a cancellation policy of 14 days so fortunately i emailed them and sorted it before any money was removed. (Saying that what right do they have to ask you to ring or email to cancel something that you never wanted in the first place?!) How on earth do they get away with it? It sounds as if its mostly the elderly and vulnerable that are targeted. I bet what happens is these people receive the card and letter and think its junk mail, then in a fortnight the 1st payment goes out? Luckily we intercepted our friends letter and sorted it. So if you look after an elderly relative keep your eyes peeled for one of these scam letters with a stupid card attached to it! And as for you call handlers at Lifestyle Perks....you should be ashamed of yourselves

Respuesta de Lifestyle Perks
The company took out £399.95 from my dads account by direct debit which he did not sign up to absolutely disgusting as he is a vulnerable person and no comunication what so ever. How can they get away with this.

Respuesta de Lifestyle Perks
Total scam DO NOT FALL FOR IT....£400 out of our account via a direct debit we never set up!!!
Received a call about 3 weeks ago from someone claiming we were due a refund on our washing machine cover (we do currently have cover) and needed our acct details....my partner got caught out (he was tired after work). Initially they took out £1 from our account then this morning £399.95! Luckily got full refund from our bank but very stressful. Don't get caught out and please warn friends and family.

Respuesta de Lifestyle Perks
This company is highly suspect, work with third parties who apparently work off a script and are paid for each victim who is conned into taking up Lifestyle Perks my mother in law is 84 years old and its obvious that they target elderly and vulnerable people £399.95 for discounts at Supermarkets - the funniest thing is they DON'T even TELL YOU what their wonderful club offers on their own WEBSITE! BE WARNED!!!! Would have awarded a ZERO star if I could.
