I found the website easy to navigate and had plenty of detailed information on the lights I was checking out. It was difficult to decide as the solar lights I was looking at all looked great. I decided on the Solar Flickering Flame 96 LED torch wall/ ground stake lights and although it has taken some time to get them set up in the garden due to some other work we were doing, we are thrilled with them. We only bought 2 and now although they are currently out of stock I am hoping to be able to get a couple more. The flickering effect is beautiful and they last for hours my husband reported they were still on when he locked up at midnight. They are easy to put together and set up and the effect is very good.

I purchased festoon lights in August 2024 and they are now approaching two years old. When I took them down recently to relocate them, I discovered that the majority of the bulbs had water inside them. All bulbs were correctly and securely fitted throughout their use, so this is not an installation issue, it is a product quality failure.

While the lights are currently still working, I have no confidence they will remain safe or functional for much longer given the extent of the water ingress.

I placed an additional order for an extension cable kit, which I no longer need as a result of this. I emailed to cancel and also attempted to call multiple times on a regular working day, only to be met with an out-of-hours bank holiday message. Being unable to reach anyone to confirm a cancellation is an added frustration on top of an already disappointing experience.

For outdoor lights at this price point, I would expect them to withstand normal outdoor conditions for considerably longer than two summers. I cannot recommend this product.

EDIT: Email from Lighting Legends: "From the photo and what you have described, it does sound like the appear that water ingress may have also affected the bulb holders themselves, rather than the bulbs alone.
Unfortunately, the individual bulb holders are not a replaceable part on these sets. If the holders have been damaged, the full set would need to be replaced rather than repaired.

Having spoken to our technicians, there is likely no way of being able to directly fix this and as a result, they believe the best course of action is to completely replace the lights. It may be possible to clean out the sockets that have been affected, however we cannot guarantee this would completely resolve the issue/ this wouldn't recur.

As these lights were purchased over a year ago in August 2024, this means these lights are outside of their 12 month warranty and I am unable to authorise replacements for these lights under the product warranty.
Please be aware, we also would not recommend continuing to use the existing set if there are visible signs of water ingress or damage to the bulb holders."

Bought Elite festoon lights and LED Strip to replace solar lights that weren’t very bright.

These really are the best solar flame lights I have ever purchased. Quality build with excellent solar panels. I have two I purchased over four years ago and they are still going strong. Have just resently purchased another two flame lights to go in the garden. Lovely bright flame effect. Anyone looking to purchase solar flame lights I would highly recommend Lighting Legends.

2nd set of lights from this company and really pleased with them. Quick delivery, well packaged and easy to put up!, excellent quality and a lovely warm light to enhance the garden in the evening. I will be ordering more. 5 stars 🌟

Placed an order with express 2 day delivery with tracking on Sunday, its now 6 days later with no tracking provided despite an email stating order dispatched on Weds. Not very happy to be honest, also contacted them twice to ask for tracking details and just get automated responses.

Not hung the lights yet but ordering was easy, delivery excellent, well packed etc so expecting great quality lights😊

I can’t review the lights yet as they won’t be going up for a few weeks yet but my experience dealing with Lighting Legends was excellent. They promptly dealt with an enquiry pre-purchase. Thereafter ordering online was very straight forward and packaging and delivery time excellent.

Good communication from Lighting legends. The lights are nice and look good , my one reservation would be the Lux level when they turn on could be better, if slightly darker before they switch on thus giving a better initial look .

Scrolled the internet looking for the right all year round outdoor lights and you know when you’re looking but not feeling it, until, I came across Lighting Legends outdoor led’s, they ticked all my boxes and I wasn’t disappointed, they are a quality product and look absolutely lovely, I shall be ordering more shortly to extend them further into the garden 🤗

Still no reply from “director” Adam, despite full description of the incident with the dangerous, non IP 65 lighting including photos of the burned out lamp holder and visible water ingress in other holders, silence. Their products are dangerous and I wouldn’t have them anywhere near my house. Do not trust the reviews on their website as they do not publish negative reviews.

You are correct in that they were purchased in 2023 but they were used for only two summers then taken down and stored indoors. That’s how long this complaint has been going on, check your complaints emails. As for this being extremely rare you don’t have to scroll down very far here to find other similar incidents. I’m not after a refund or replacements here ( I would never have these near my house again ) but I do think people should know about the quality they are purchasing. And you don’t post honest, negative reviews on your website, why not ? The goodwill gesture part set offered still would have cost me about three times the price of the safe 12v full set from B&M which have already lasted as long as the faulty set.
