Giving one star is being generous

Giving one star is being generous. I have been with them for over 12 yrs but they are getting worst day by day. Went with an issue to the reading branch and was told straight to the face that they could not help. The staff have no idea about their job. Had to stay in que for over 15 minutes only one person serving and about 15 to 18 people on queue very one waiting was getting frustrated. Have to change my bank I would recommmend people not to have an account there. I would close my as well as soon as possible

Never can get through to customer services

Never can get through to customer services, always experiencing high call volumes. But all working from home & doing nothing, when you do get through after a hour or so you have the pleasure of hearing crying children in the background.

So unprofessional, it’s about time you get your staff back in the banks & offices !!!

The difficulty in finding due dates for credit card payments and also phone number is irritating to say the least. Telephone number used to be on credit card but not so now. We have everything to lose they have everything to gain.

Had fraud on account rang them to let them know sorted it and then blocked me for investagations but had to ring for update to tell me they are closing my accounts shithouse bank dont even deserve a star and all can not be wrong about this mickey mouse firm

General experince with LLOYDS in the last 6 years

The custmomer service of LLOYDS is -4 , wrote and I read other customer rewiws of others service and member ,at talking over the phone useless ,writing them noty reply ,by all means ,frankly LLOYDS DO NOT CARE if you cannot pay your bills ,water ,gas ,or you are sick or not having money for essetial stuff as food ,basic need s.It does not matter the languange with them experince or age group etnicty ,they will be taoatlly ruthless ,unhuman ,barbarian if they could take your body parts to sell them on a market they will do it .It is not a critical experince it is 88% accurate ,described and brief .READ THE REWIWS FROM OTHE PEOPLE WHO MAYBE CANNOT PAY A MORTGAE kind of and needs .LLOYDS bank will use u as a client never be by your side as custmer or encorouge you to open a bussiness make money family and any other circumsatnces of daily life .You can be sick ,without money for you daily needs to buy existent and they will leave you to die worse than prison camp . up before joining this bank .Trustpilot moderators do not alter or modify Employees who are in a industry under coorporate branches and not above the level of big bussiness awhich a bank makes money most not caring about working class ,background etnicity gender ,chrome-extension://aeehekhncjhhmchjolinnihgdpapmljk/assets/img/cat3.gifor any problems financial of a customer money from illsuison and packages which there are on a paper not in real commerce some of them show only

Shocking Customer Service closing all Accounts…

Shocking Customer Service closing all my accounts after many years of being a loyal customer with Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland.
Made an enquiry why having received a text message stating my account was in overdraft which was wrong customer services explained the phone call was for another Customer using wrong phone number.
As a result Lloyds closed all my accounts giving two weeks notice by Manger J T
Will never use Lloyds accounts ever again and wish to warn other account holders to be aware of their disgraceful service to life long account holders

Anti fraud team stop so many payments!

Hard to make any payment in credit card when abroad, so I carry an alternative card.
Hard to transfer money, as then I have 20 minutes with the anti fraud team to say it is really me, and yea I really do want to transfer money.
I thought the second time transfering money to same people it would now go through - except they want the anti fraud team to have another lovely (and long) chat with me again.
It feels like having ask mum and dad is I can spend my pocket money please, except I've banked with these guys for 40 years and now opening other accounts with other banks in order to be able to access and move my.money!

Lloyds Fraud prevention team are the…

Lloyds Fraud prevention team are the most unprofessional and disrespectful team I have ever encountered they blocked my account and told me to call! After 3 long awaited calls they told me to go to branch which they knew was closed, i called them again and the team seems to take my complaint personally and got angry and blocked my card on Saturday and Sunday I have nothing to make shopping for my kids as we do shop on Sundays only! Very disappointed really.

Absolutely atrocious customer service!!
Behaviour from the representatives of Lloyds bank is shocking,
The have no phone etiquette,
Zero customer service skills and have no respect
It’s the second time I’ve call and the representatives raised their voices!

Why does such a big company use people who can’t speak nor understand!!!

Recently the online banking app was…

Recently the online banking app was upgraded (or downgraded!). The new app is from Cartoon Network. So ugly. Has all your accounts on the home page, meaning you cannot even log into your online banking in public as all your savings and everything will be will just be on display! Whoever came up with this idea should be sacked. Changing my bank so I can have a decent online banking app.

Shockingly poor customer service

Shockingly poor customer service. Without a doubt the worse company I have ever dealt with. Letters just ignored or only half answered, no sense of urgency and not a trace of empathy or understanding. Level of technical knowledge woeful - I can not find anyone in customer service who has even a basic level of knowledge on pensions or who understands the Banks own products. 100% useless company.

Attempting to transfer my pension

Attempting to transfer my pension from Clerical Medical has been an absolute nightmare for me.

This is my second attempt, the first was scuppered due to massive delays and then they said I had to resubmit a form because it was more than 90 days old, it wasn’t even 30 days old. The amount of stress this has caused is unconscionable.

I made a second attempt, armed with the knowledge I’d learnt from my first attempt I asked them to detail what they needed from me and the receiving party. Needless to say several weeks later I received a letter asking me to request something else from the receiving party.  After doing this several weeks went past before I received another letter asking for proof I had sought financial advice and that this request was a mandatory requirement. Pension Wise advised me that certain pensions had safeguarded benefits where it was mandatory/a legal requirement to obtain regulated financial advice, however they further advised my pension did not have a safeguarded benefit.

 This whole process has been extremely distressing and inconvenient especially considering Clerical Medical have been around for a few hundred years, you would have thought they would be able to deal with the straightforward process of transferring a pension by now!

Lloyds Bank avoid!!!

Trying to purchase tickets , my account got blocked , contact the fraud line ..after 30min or so was told to go in-store , went in-store spent another 30-40min ..unblocked my account ..thereafter tried to deposit money into my own Revolut account I was blocked out of my Lloyds app , now my account is locked , can't get into the banking app ..I guess it's illegal to transfer monies between your own accounts? Paper trail shows everything in black and white ...but Lloyds bank can't read.. absolutely crap .. please avoid at all cost .

Sad to say I regret opening this account.now I have no funds available to live or pay my expenses ..common council tax , Energy supplier ..Lloyds are holding your monies that I have to pay you.

Ive been with lloyds for around 15yrs

Ive been with lloyds for around 15yrs. Ive always been happy with them untill now! The new banking app theyve brought in is utter sh*te!!!!!!!!! I carnt get the info i need! The icons have changed! I dint under stand this new app!! Its now time to move banks!!! This spp is stressing me out!!!! SHAME ON U LLOYDS BANK WITH THIS NEW APP ITS UTTER SH*TE!!!!!

Abysmal customer experience. Wish I had switched.

First time I have had to deal with this bank. We were trying to get an additional person as a signatory to a Treasurer's account and alter some details. However for various reasons this has taken weeks and involved many phone calls. A complaint was raised and some progress was made, however we are still unable to access the account on line. We have no idea how much is in the account. I fully agree with the various one star comments. This is abysmal service. I wish we were with another bank, but this was an arrangement from some years ago.
I see that Lloyds will be able to see this review. I have been able to write this review and more while on hold and am still waiting to talk to another real person. I have little faith they will actually make any changes going by the dates of previous complaints

The worse bank ever stay away

The worse bank ever, I have been banking with Lloyds for over 20 years, I got my self into a abit of trouble when my OD account got into default I paid the full amount off in May 24, everything was satisfied on my credit file, and suddenly 5 months later I get a notification on my credit file from a company called Link financial who is a debt collector to say they have bought the account, when I called them they told me they bought the account on the 6 August and then Lloyds updated them on the 9 August to say the balance has been paid so they sold a debt which has no value, Im 1 week away from completion on my mortgage and they have done this to me, my mortgage application has been placed on hold and may fall through if Lloyds don’t fix this error, I have been calling them since 9am and they can’t do anything and keep
Telling me the complaints will deal with it so need to wait up to 8 weeks, I emailed the CEO and still not updat from them, I have notified my solicitors and will be posting over the media to let people now how they treat you, I suffer from anxiety and stress and they have put me into so much trouble for something that’s has been paid and satisfied 5 months ago, horrible bank and no care for people stay away from them

Account blocked for trying to spend my own money online

Attempted to purchase a new computer from a reputable compay online using debit card. Payment denied and account locked. Rang bank to get it sorted and some arrogant woman insinuated I'm too stupid and gullible to manage my own finances. Expected me to run around and jump through hoops to sort out a cock up of their making . Made formal complaint, recieved text message saying they would ring to resolve things. phone rang once and then stiopped before I had a chance to answer. Not only are they incapable of online banking, they can't even manage a simple phone call.

Tried to open credit card to use 0%…

Tried to open credit card to use 0% feature.

Credit card came, I tried making purchases and the account got blocked for fraud.

Was told to go into store to remove block, so I went into store and they did nothing and the card is still blocked.

Closed account as I want to be with a bank that communicates with their store colleagues and doesn’t waste my time.
