Their survey was based on a misconception regarding a damp issue as they confused condensation on a interior wall due to no heating and ventilation allowing dew point to take place this is quite common on a solid wall in these circumstances.
They didn’t seem to understand this.

Had a survey done recently for a home myself and my partner were quite keen on. Eager to move forward, we still took the precaution of a survey with Lotus, and it's a good job we did! With many issues being flagged up, it could've been a very costly first home for us if we went ahead with the sale.

Jennifer carried out a survey for us. We got the report 3 working days after the survey was done which was quicker than I thought but it was very in depth.. she gave us really good genuine advice and really knows her stuff.

We approached Lotus Surveyors to conduct a level 3 survey on an older property that we were looking to purchase. As first time buyers, we did not know what to expect, but, we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of detail contained within the report. We are grateful for the experience and insight brought to the report, which made us reevaluate our position.
