Hi David, thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
I am sorry to hear you were not happy with our service and have had a quick look to see why your order took so long to arrive.
I can see that your order was placed on Sunday evening. As we are closed Sunday/Monday this was processed when we opened on Tuesday morning.
The item was not in our Driffield store so was ordered in from our warehouse and dispatched to you 2 days later (Thursday). This should have been delivered on Friday however due to a technical issue at DHL they did not deliver until Monday.
This is longer than it usually takes to fulfil an order but the couriers are beyond our control and we cannot stock every item from our website in store. I apologise for the inconvenience caused by the delay.
If you can please email us with pictures of the damage and we will arrange for a replacement part or fitting to be sent out
Excellent service.
Excellent service. I ordered a fragile glass globes to replace a broken one on an antique lamp, it arrived quickly, well packaged and intact.
