I recently had a very bad experience with a mail order tree company, whereby three" dead sticks" arrived ...one of which was not what was on my order, and the packing list was what i ordered so the whole job was a mess up...my how mailordertrees, have restored my faith in good service, and great trees...two apple trees arrived with apples on !!! What a fantasic company, my business will be wirh them from now on ... well done 10/10

I ordered 2 yew trees 3 weeks ago, last week I emailed to ask if there was an ETA for this order. I got a standard automated reply and waited to hear from you to no avail. I emailed again this weekend and again got the standard mail saying 'Thank you for contacting us! Because we are a small team, it may take us a little time to respond, but your message is important to us.'
I get you're in Cambridgeshire and I am way up in North Yorkshire but if you are not able to fulfill the order you could have the courtesy to advise the customer of any problems or at the very least refund me for the cost of the trees and the gift wrapping etc I paid for. On your site my order is shown as 'Confirmed
We're preparing these items for shipping.
17 May'. 3 weeks later that status has not changed. Am very disappointed.

Bought another tree from Mail Order Trees and as usual was not disappointed. This time I purchased a winter flowing cherry, it arrived in first class condition and was much taller than they stated, wow what a lovely tree. I would recommend this company to everyone, great price, quick delivery and what a wonderful tree. A very happy customer that will be using them again in the near future A+++

I ordered a weeping pear which was delivered on time on a bank holiday, beginning of May.. it was a good size for the price I paid. Unfortunately the leaves on the ends of the branches have started to turn white, black and are curling. I phoned for advice but there was no reply so I emailed last Friday. Monday evening and still no reply. I don’t consider this good after sales at all. Disappointing as when I added to my order initially my email was answered within hours.

This really is an excellent company. Probably the best experience that I have had from garden orders online. I ordered a tree at a very reasonable price. The tree arrived on good time and in pristine condition. It was well packed, healthy and ready to plant. I can thoroughly recommend this company and will definitely use them again for future orders.

Ordered a hoe a month ago. Still not received it for my husband's birthday. Also paid for gift wrapping. Numerous emails later, I was told it would arrive last week. Still no delivery. Try to ring them and never answer the phone. Really poor customer service.

Tree arrived 15 days from ordering and after multiple messages asking for a delivery update but no response. The cherry tree that arrived was a lot younger than I was expecting. Much skinnier and barely the 180 of the 180-210cms height. And very wilted. Not sure if it will survive. Again no response from MOT

So delighted with our flowering cherry tree, bigger than expected and very healthy tree packaged very well, 1st class would highly recommend thank you very much

I purchased a prunus cherry tree on line it came after about 2 weeks but the shape of the branches was extremely disappointing, so I emailed and asked to return the tree, I’m still waiting nearly 4 weeks on now I’m told they don’t have a van in my area to collect it, looks like I need to take further advice to get a refund, I wouldn’t ever order again anything I can’t actually see

I’ve ordered trees on multiple occasions from this company over the last few years. I was happy with all the trees I’ve been sent and they are growing happily in my garden now. When I had an issue with one of the trees, Julie has provided an exceptional customer service - responding to my emails almost immediately, offering advice and a solution to the issue I’ve been experiencing. The best customer service I’ve received in a while! Will happily order from this company again.

Ordered a tree and was given a date it was allegedly going to be shipped out to arrive the next day.
Nearly 2 weeks passed since the said date, despite numerous emails sent on my behalf I have received no reply.
Forced to initiate dispute with bank to obtain a refund.
Customer service non existent.

I received the most beautiful specimen of a crab apple - Laura today. I bought it in remembrance of my late husband who died from Covid in 2021 and a dear friend who died in 2024. My daughter Sarah had purchased the same variety a couple years ago which is now stunning and she highly recommended this company. The tree is an excellent size and was delivered safely today in super condition as promised by Chris the companies own driver. I cannot understand the few poor reviews about Mail order trees mainly complaining about delays in delivery. If you read the companies information they do stipulate that they are a small company and often at the mercy of the weather. They also state that delivery aims for 7 to 10 days but it can be as late as several weeks. My tree was an exceptional price for the size and quality.it would be twice as much at my local nursery. I was kept informed throughout the purchase of delivery date and it arrived on time as promised. On another note if you are looking for a crab apple for a smaller garden- Laura if for you. She has upright growth and doesn’t grow very tall. Her bark is a rich shiny red brown and her purple leaves compliment the deep red/ purple fruits which the birds love. The spring blossom is delightful and loved by the bees. And she is so generous with her fruit that we are still eating last autumns crab apple jelly from my daughters tree. Highly recommended by a very keen experienced amateur gardener -me.

Have recently bought my second Ceanothus Trewithen Californian Lilac from Mail Order Trees. On both occasions have been perfectly happy with the purchase transactions etc. However, my most recent tree purchase, after12 months, are showing the branches are drooping very severely and touching the ground. I have telephoned the company on two occasions in the last three weeks for their advice. On both occasion's I have had to leave a voice message with my query, leaving my tel number etc as required. As yet I have still not received a reply to resolve my query. Disappointed with the company’s non response on both occasions!
