Pretty sure the jade I ordered was fake/treated. Ring I wore broke while I was cutting avocados. Jade items I bought also didn't sound that clear when I did the sound test and they looked very weblike when I shone a light through them.

Authentic Burmese Jadeite Jewelries
TLDR:
After years of searching for some real Jadeite jewelries, I finally got myself and my wife authentic Burmese Jade bead bracelets and rings. Certified, high quality Burmese Jadeites. Got my friends asking where I got it from and whether they are the real deal, and not some cheap Nephrite Jade or even "synthetic jade". Mays Gem make online shopping for Authentic Burmese Jade a wonderful experience. Cathy Yin helped us answering our enquiries and attended to our concerns. She is very attentive and responsive. She made sure our questions are answered and delivery process is as smooth as possible.
So . .
For years I have always wanted to get myself some Jade Bead Bracelet and Ring, however years ago, I had little knowledge about it. As an Asian myself, I would ask my families and Asian friends on what makes a good authentic Jade jewelries. I also read so many online discussions and finally made conclusion on several Jade qualities that I could find. Burmese Jadeite, Canadian Nephrite, and "Synthetic Jade" (basically dyed molten glass or sometimes Quartzite, not even a Jade).
Burmese Jadeite is what you want for Jade Jewelries, not some cheap Nephrite and definitely not "Synthetic Jade" if you wish to get the energy flow from Jade mineral stones. If you want to do further research on Burmese Jade, read about the Grading as well. These Grades are only given to Burmese Jade as they are the real deal.
All of these research and reviews on Mays Gem, as well as the lack of information on other stores . . . are the reasons for me to go with Mays Gem. Not only they sell Authentic / Genuine / Real Burmese Jadeite, they also provide certificates of authenticity and they have Grade on each on the Jewelry they sell. I have my own concern on deliveries because of the price and I live in apartments. That was when Cathy Yin helped me, attentively and responsively attending to my enquiries and concerns. She is passionate about Jade and she shares her knowledge to the customers.
Jade should not be a cheap purchase, because it is not cheap. But you would need to make the right purchase from the right store. You need to make sure you are getting your money's worth. I did my research, and I chose Mays Gem. Do not take my word for it, you should do your own research too before committing to buying anything. But I hope this would help anyone who is looking to buy authentic Burmese Jadeite from Mays Gem, like my work colleagues.

The item i wanted was out of stock on the website to which i emailed when will stock come back in, the rep said sometime beginning of the next month. I waited till then and kept refreshing the page but stock hadn't come in on the website
I emailed a second time to which i got a reply saying they had stock and that they will send me pics to my email for me to choose.
I bought my jade pendant via email.
It was a little different to what I'm used to but the process was very quick, easy and secure.
I really love the kandy donut pendant i got! It’s so cute and the perfect size, petite but still impactful. I was pleasantly surprised that its a more rounded donut instead of a flat donut.
If there is something out of stock on the website, i recommend emailing customer service as they might have the stock!
