I sent my assistant to the branch in Dublin 1 (James Joyce Street) today to ship a package overseas. We paid over 100 euros for the service, but the experience was appalling.

The staff member, identified as 'Esther', refused to let us take a photo of our own parcel for insurance records before handing it over. She also refused to provide a tracking number or any proof of shipment at the time of payment, claiming she was 'too busy'.

When we politely questioned this (as we cannot hand over goods without proof), she became incredibly aggressive, refused to listen, and started shouting "Go out!" and "I give the money back!" in front of other customers. We were forced to take a refund and leave.

This franchise is unprofessional and unstable. If you need a secure courier service, do not go here go directly to an official DHL or or other courier depot where they actually follow procedure.

MBE Leeds collected and shipped an auction lot for me. It was probably the best such experience I have had, as they were very fast at collecting the lot and shipping it promptly, with professional packing. They communicated in a friendly manner and kept me up-to-date on the process. I am very pleased, and would certainly use them again in the future.

Used MBE to pick up from an auction house in Diss. Multiple franchises with no care for customer service and support and in my case paid one franchisee but another picked up the item and now being asked to pay twice for the service. Spoke to customer services (Gareth) who just quoted the contract at me and said they have 10 days to get item to me. 14 days on and now in a battle to refund payment and pay another to deliver it. Crazy. Awful. Not joined up and don’t care yet they’re all trading under MBE. Avoid

Lovely customer service

Having such good communication was very helpful keeping me informed on the procedure. And my item is made of silver so I was concerned about it getting bent. it is a spoon which is still in lovely condition considering it is date stamped...1618, and has a slightly later owners initials and date...1638 on the end of it...which is very special. It was packaged exceptionally well.. firstly in tissue paper then in many thick layers of bubblewrap.It was then 'sensibly' placed in quite a large box..(for a spoon)where it fitted snugly right in the middle with the box fully packed. So if the box got dropped or received any heavily handed treatment my item would be safe from damage.

Hopeless website. Wasted over an hour. They did not offer any compensation . Fed up with poor service

Untrustworthy. Avoid. If you want your property to go into a black hole for two weeks only to get shipped back to the point of origin, and to arrive damaged then choose them. Unbelievably unprofessional. The head office washed their hands of responsibility of their franchisee and did nothing to help.

AVOID - Terrible experience - no communication, did not collect my items when they said they would and then refused to answer my emails and never called me back when they said they would. Gave them a chance to respond to my complaints and they still never got back to me. Went with another company - Pack & Send Hall Green and the difference was night and day - amazing service.

George was extremely helpful in arranging my shipping and package. Will definitely be coming back

I am not usually inclined to leave company reviews, but my experiences with Mailboxes Etc. Ruislip deserves recognition. I have used their services on several occasions, and each time the customer service has been exceptional. Most recently, earlier this week, I was assisted by Alec, who went above and beyond to resolve an issue that was outside the scope of the service I had requested. His professionalism, dedication, and cheerful manner ensured the matter was handled smoothly. The final delivery was carried out with care and a smile. Thank you for consistently outstanding service.
