On Wednesday 9th November I visited Superdrug Health center in East Ham to ask for blood tests for a thyroid problem.
The nurse who welcomed me was very attentive and kind, and although my veins are hard to find, she managed to take my blood, for which I am grateful.I went to the checkout at Superdrug with her and paid the £79 fee.
The next day I received 2 SMS and 1 email that the results were ready.
I entered the Melio website, registered, but it was not there and still is not there.
The next day I wrote several emails to support, I sent a copy of the receipt I paid with, a business card that a nurse gave me with a number written on it, but still no result.
The amount I have paid is not small, but it is not about money but about correct treatment.
I understand that there could be a problem with processing the study, there could be some other problem, but I still needed to be notified.
I feel sad and disappointed to be treated like this. After all, it is about medical care, medical ethics...

I went to Melio for blood tests and was forced to answer the question “were you born the same gender you are now?”. I was appalled and asked the nurse why this was relevant? My GP has never even asked this question and it has nothing to do with the treatment I was seeking. The nurse talked over me and told me they ask this question because of all the “new stuff” about trans people. I said that trans people are certainly not “new” and again asked why it was relevant. The nurse obviously had no idea why this is an inappropriate question and I was made to feel as if I had to answer it in order to get treatment. Again, the treatment I was seeking had nothing to do with my gender identity. Melio does not seem like a company that is safe for trans people as they ask unnecessary and invasive questions and I have no idea how they use this information afterwards.

Had results back quickly but missing some … was asked to contact customer services for more information. Have phoned and emailed and still haven’t had a response

Simple and easy process to obtain a blood test I needed on a certain date for ivf. Results came much quicker than expected. I will certainly use your service again. Also the clinician who performed the blood test was so wonderful, even though was having some computer issues he didn’t make that my problem, and took blood in the most painless way I have ever encountered. Thank you.

Lovely lady in Cardiff for my blood tests, after a mess up on the system (booked in for 2 tests but only 1 was showing!) She was able to get me the 2nd test that I requested for.

Was worth the money, as I've found many underlying health issues!! And finally doctors have listened to me after so long and ovbiously me paying out for private but they are now putting me on the correct path to get my health sorted.

I enjoy my visit to the centre, the nurse was prompt and welcome me warmly and straight to questions and signing of consents .
Sample was taking immediately without delay. But there is no toilet in the whole of the building.

The next day I received all the results and a full written and oral report from the specialist Dr.

Fast results. Would have liked an opportunity to ask another question, when the doctor evaluated the results.

The incorrect test was done. I requested a full health check but my results only included a metabolic test. Deeply unsatisfied as it took 3 attempts to take some blood out and now I have to go through the whole process again.

My partner and I both did the full health check blood screen . We got an appt easily at our local Superdrug to take the blood. The full report was received by the following evening. Great detail and advice from the doctor. Going to do another one in 6 months as the cholesterol was a bit high so going to work on getting that down . Lifestyle changes !!

As I had difficulties booking online, I rang and spoke to someone who was really helpful and friendly. The appointment was on time and the nurse was lovely. She explained the process clearly. I received the results the following day!
