Terrible customer service

Recently purchased a Mi fire, the fire appears to be fine so far, however inside the pack was a leaflet offering a free ash vac or stove accessory bundle, sounds great I thought, after trying to register for the said gift, unsuccessfully! I phoned the company and was told the leaflet was a mistake and they will not be honouring the offer, not the biggest problem in the world I agree BUT the key here is CUSTOMER SERVICE or lack of, if they cannot even resolve such a small issue with good customer service I wonder how they deal with bigger issues? And looking at some of the reviews on here the star rating speaks for itself.

MI Dynamic 2

Bought MI Dynamic 2 which was fitted in Aug/sept 25, the retaining bar is not tall enough and logs keep falling out I was told I couldn’t be putting them in correctly but that was from the place I bought the fire from!
I’ve had a Charnwood 4 for 16 years and never had that problem but after speaking with MI fires direct I can change the retaining bar 😃
Then a fire brick has cracked after 6 months and been told it’s not covered under the warranty but I got sent a new one by MI fires, thank you ☺️

In brief this doesn’t even deserve one star

I had a log burner fitted by an amazing fitter polite gentle gentleman who did everything correct. Service 100 percent nothing g was a problem . He told me about this make of log burner and we went for it.

The burner was installed and on inspection I was very happy . After a month the back tile broke this can happen I understand. Told the company would send one out. Again it happened told this normally we pay for it but this time the company would send it free. Hey ho again this has happened. Five tiles have broken now.

I spoke to the rep of the company also head office and was told you get what you pay for mmmmm a great line. Not only have we only had this burner for a strawberry season. The paint is wearing off the rope is coming away what next.

Told they would come with some glue and paint and this is service I’m told.

The story goes on in brief I was told you paid less than another product on the market suck it up. Stay clear off mi flues

We own eight other burners in different properties. I know how to load a fire and what wood to put in !!! Was asked to send a pic of the wood I was using

Poor quality unit. Poor quality company service.

Stay away from them

I received damaged flues 3 times

I received damaged flues 3 times. No print on some of them, so could be anything. Staff are useless, warehouse staff are useless.

The place is a dump and looks like a tip.

I suggest using anyone else.

Driver nearly caused a serious collision today Pedmore island Stourbridge, we had to pull over as he was about to collide with our vehicle and take us off the road, pulled next to us and swore at us whilst transporting a young special needs child and left everyone traumatised. Go back to driving school and understand your roundabouts

Excellent Customer Service

I recently purchased a Kamado BBQ through wowcher with Mi Flues. I had an issue with delivery, contacted them and Ian was amazing at tracking down my BBQ and got it delivered the very next morning. The BBQ is top quality and was a great price and will be a great addition to my BBQ party this saturday. Thank you!

Beware' Mi-Flues & Chimney Specialist…

Beware' Mi-Flues & Chimney Specialist who did installed my multi fuel wood burner on the 14.10.2022. Before our installment they was told about the cumbering back wall. At the end of the installment, I did pay Mi-Flues & Chimney Specialist very good agreed money to to render that cumbering back wall and to install the where the multi fuel wood burner that will be rested near that wall.
Well to tell you the truth the back wall was render/re plastered and the multi fuel wood burner was installed. The time of the year was now getting colder and after three weeks or so we decided to light our new multi fuel wood burner for the first time. After a few weeks of using our new wood burner the back wall started to crack and when touch crumble again' so I call the installer back to have a look at the back cracking' crumbling wall they previously render/plastered.
The installer said that OK' it look not to great but I can not do any of the work until the end of the following month and I said that's fine.
The end of the following month came' and I made the phone call to arrange a suitable day and time for the Mi Flues & Chimney Specialist installer to fix this problem, he said that he will call me back that later that day, but he did not' so I made many phone call to him and sent many texts with no answer from Mi Flues & Chimney Specialist installer.
So now I will be going to seek local legal advice.
I am so sorry that I had this company installed my multi fuel wood burner who did such a bad plastering/rendering to our back wall.
Just be very careful when using' Mi-Flues & Chimney Specialist.

I must point out that MI-Flues do not provide stove or flue installations. We are a supplier to the trade and a manufacturer of flexible flue liner. Do you have a small chimney notice plate with our company name on it? We would've supplied the notice plate plus potentially the flue and stove to your installer. The installer details should be written on this notice plate.

Customer service is a joke

Ordered our stove Nov 2022. Spoke to MI Flues to chase up as it should of been delivered in March 2023, our installer has chased them many times and even offered us an alternative stove, however we really liked the one we had choen. Now been told it will be here towards the end of August. Spoke to a really unhelpful person last week and he made no apologies and said we're now saying early 2024 for new orders. He was so unhelpful and offered no apology. I hung up in the end. Think twice before you use this company. Nice looking product (only seen in pictures) but absolutely useless customer service. Would never use again or recommend them. Stay away would be my advice.

No customer support whatsoever

No customer support whatsoever , tried calling on numerous occasions but no matter which option you make the call is not answered.

Have had Log burner for just 3 months and it's already showing signs of wear never mind glass cracking (it's very thin) So far I would suggest don't use this company or their products.

Being Fair - Great Products, Customer Service Needs To Improve To Customers

I wanted to just say we are a trade company that orders directly from MI Flues. If you are reading recent reviews, towards the end of 2022, they do largely relate to customer service and not the products.

We agree that the service provided wasn't good but we would also add that the industry was facing unprecedented demand due to the energy crisis.

As a business, we have seen increased demand too.

To be fair to MI Flues we feel they need to learn from Autumn 2022 with regard to customer service and keeping their customers informed - we were also very frustrated at times but we do still rate their products and recommend to customers.

DO NOT USE

Please, please do not place an order through this company. The whole experience from start to finish has been extremely painful.

Placed order through a third party who were equally terrible (SNH Tradecentre). After three weeks of delays, claimed order had been delivered, they were most certain and we have just lost it. When I informed them I had checked the CCTV, they decided palletline had lost it. Promised a delivery tomorrow (for the third time) but cancelled instead to place an order for next day delivery elsewhere.

Yes, they are 15% cheaper than others. It is resolutely not worth the grief, attitude and terrible customer service.

Totally awful

Totally awful. Ordered via third party supplier and no updates re order and no delivery. Contacted the supplier and given delivery date - nothing arrived. Contacted supplier again and promised delivery/- only half order arrived. Gave up and ordered elsewhere with other supplier - everything delivevered. Avoid

Extremely poor and unprofessional…

Extremely poor and unprofessional company. I will not be using again and telling all my associates in the trade the same. I have been waiting over 3weeks for a small part costing £40 & £10 delivery and still nothing after trying to call them time and time again but no answer then when you do get through you get told oh not sure why it's taking so long I will let a manger know and get it sent out next day then you guessed it nothing happens. Avoid avoid avoid!

Total Failure

Absolutely shocking experience

Absolutely shocking experience. Spent several hundred pounds and took 2 sizes of pipe as wasn’t sure which would fit but was assured by the member of staff we could bring back within 90 days((1st mis information)
We returned the items yesterday but were told over the phone whilst in the yard we were out of the return period, we asked to speak to a more senior person who appeared in the yard who rudely told us point blank there was “no chance’ of a refund, no apology, compared the return process to Tesco returns saying Tesco wouldn’t accept returns after 1 month and neither do we. His attitude was obnoxious , I was quite taken aback. My partner explained that the member of staff had said 90 days, he said he would of never of said this. The debate got a little heated and with it ordered us off the yard. I have never experienced anything like this unprofessional attitude from a senior member of staff at one point I was actually frightened at his aggressive manner and thought he was going to attack my partner.
Absolutely terrible experience beware!!

Shocking

Shocking. Ordered a Kamado accessory in April from mi-fires. Constantly lied to. Eventually given a guaranteed delivery date with shipping dates and everything quoted. Nothing received. When I called I was told another 5 weeks. It’s now August. DO NOT USE
