Bertazzoni service in the US is terrible!

This is a follow-up to my Trustpilot review from Feb 24, 2026 (Master Series Induction Range knob stem broke off without any force applied). After thoroughly documenting the issue, Mike Krieger, a Bertazzoni National Service Manager, indicated that I'd be reimbursed for at least a part of the repair cost. But then Mike just disappeared, and my repeated emails have gone unanswered. A quick Internet search reveals that others had very similar experiences. This reflects poor customer service and a complete disregard for the customer.

So far the lowest rating

So far, all I can give is one star, the lowest rating, since I do not yet have my service parts, and the parts associate had not a single sliver of any sort of update. He also did not offer to follow up on my behalf. If a human cannot do a decent job, perhaps they should move to an AI tool.

Actually caring about us... helping us understand and navigate the use our new Bertazzoni product.

We recently acquired a second hand Bertazzoni Master series 5 burner range. We had a couple of puzzles getting it up and running in our Los Angeles kitchen. We phoned Casa Bertazzoni in San Francisco and spoke with Helen C Adams, and tech support specialist Larry. Helen and Larry both truly changed the trajectory of our Bertazzoni experience for the better… super informative, thorough, attentive. I then received a lovely follow up email from Helen with more info. When I saw her job title at the bottom of the email “customer care manager” my reaction was… that’s exactly what she did to perfection… actually caring about us, and helping us understand and navigate the use our new Bertazzoni product. We now have our beautiful stove up and running... and love it! Next time we are in San Francisco we will stop by Casa Bertazzoni and thank these wonderful people in person!

Buyer beware

Buyer beware! Glass door on my oven spontaneously shattered. I have been given the run around for 3 months on getting it repaired. They market themselves as a high end appliance manufacturer but their products are very poorly made.

Updated Response:
I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with both a serious safety defect in my Bertazzoni oven and the inadequate, patronizing response I have received from your customer service team.
I purchased Bertazzoni appliances based on the brand’s reputation as a premium, high-end product. I expected that standard of quality to extend to both the product and your customer service. Neither has been acceptable.
The glass door on my oven shattered — a dangerous and unacceptable failure. When I contacted Bertazzoni, rather than receiving a prompt and professional resolution, I was met with a dismissive and patronizing response. This is not how a safety-related complaint should be handled.
I have since researched this issue and found that other customers have experienced the same problem with shattered oven glass doors. This pattern suggests a systemic defect, not an isolated incident.
I am requesting the following:
• Immediate replacement of the defective oven door at no cost to me
• A formal written acknowledgment of the defect
• A commitment to how Bertazzoni intends to address this issue across affected units

I also have filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency

I purchased this oven through my builder, Pelican Homes, Houston Texas 01/04/2024

I have called 1 week ago and sent…

I have called 1 week ago and sent email.. explaining what went wrong with no one corresponding back to me.. Customer Service is not desirable. Product does not work and it has been almost 2 MONTHS.. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, PRODUCT OR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ANYONE.. IF NOT RESOLVED THIS WEEK, I WILL BE CONTACTING ATTORNEY.

Love the range…delivery was great…

Love the range…delivery was great…. Signed up for rebate that we were eligible for at the time, but we never had a response from Bertazzoni and find nothing on their site to help. Also for the 4 year warranty. Maybe it’s my failure, but contact with them does not seem to be happening for me.

Bertazzoni Refrigerator

I bought all my appliances in 2023, in 2025 my refrigerator stopped working… as per technician:
December 17 2025 Verified no leaks - unit was full of Freon - Replaced compressor -and controls March 9 2026 Found unit with no Freon compresser very hot , refilled with r600 verified no leaks in evaporator or condenser or around welds - verified presser’s dropping . Isolated Yoder loop and there is the leak - unit is non repairable
I have been contacting Bertazzoni warranty since that’s the only number I have and all they say is that unit is out of warranty and they can’t help me. How is it possible that a “high end” refrigerator only lasts 3 years?

I love this refrigerator

I love this refrigerator! I am having a minor issue with getting Warranty service call scheduled. Presently I have no doubt this will be taken care of by BERTAZZONI.

The oven is a disaster

The oven is a disaster! This is an extremely attractive piece of equipment BUT don’t waste your money. The gas top works well. I have the high end model and after years of frustration and technicians trying to remedy the situation I am gong to give up. The temperature NEVER and I mean NEVER stays true. I have to watch over it. I have special thermometers inside with outside display so I can readjust it, which needs to be done CONSTANTLY. I’ve just set it to 400*, put it down a smidge 380* hoping for 400* it went to 460*. I dialed it down to 360* it went down and then rose to 451*! I now dialed it down to 345* and it is registering 411*
Now if I could count on the dial being 50 or 60* off I could keep that in mind while setting the temperature. BUT NO, sometimes it stays low, won’t get to the desired temp, 70* or more low. I cannot bake in it, I’ve burned gratins, undercooked chicken and roast, burnt cookies. It came with the house I bought so no recourse. I cannot honestly sell it knowing it’s such a disaster.
I know it’s beautiful. Get over it buy something else and save yourself a ton of anxiety!!!

No one has EVER contacted us back…

No one has EVER contacted us back regarding replacement of the shelf. If we had known your products were so flimsy we might not have bought them.

Bertazzoni refrigerator not recommended

I purchased a Bertazzoni refrigerator, right after 2 years of being used we had problems with refrigerator. Compressor and the main board were no use. Month after replacing compressor and board, refrigerator was not cooling. Tech came back again to check refrigerator and they were no leaks. Tech mentioned that the Yoder loop was defected. We called Bertazzoni and the only thing they mentioned we will call back. I will not recommend Bertazzoni refrigerators to no one. Waste of money.

Our two month old range quit working

Our two month old range quit working, filed claim - after three weeks they are radio silent and we have no plan for repair. Not a luxury product if they don’t back it up a the quality isn’t there to begin with. Also, plastic legs - thought they would be metal for $3400.

Had this stove for a little over 3 years paid $$$$ and basically shorted out
The customer service is basically too bad for you and doesn’t follow up

Everything went wrong

Everything went wrong. First, products itself are bad. In just 2 years they stopped working. My dishwasher is just 2 years 3 months old and has stopped working completely. I had registered it and hoping for extended warranty. I raised multiple tickets, sent emails but no confirmation from Bertazzoni, really pathetic customer support. I am still waiting for response and resolution.

MAIN BURNER DOES NOT IGNITE

Missed the Bertazzoni 3 day response window about below review. Please reopen window as stove issue is unresolved.
Purchased a Bertazzoni 30” Professional Series all gas range. When you pay $5700 for a stove, you expect the burner to ignite! Not so with our stove. Called Bertazzoni and was told it was out of warranty. Stove was 2 years old. Called dealer I purchased from and the service company will come to look at for a $325 diagnosis charge, before doing any repair. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS STOVE!
