Missing order

I ordered a wine set for a relative's holiday present. It seems to have been lost in delivery. I reached out for help locating the order but have not received further updates or information. My previous experiences with Millesima were all great, with first-rate service, so I hope this was just a one-off issue.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Waited 4 months for my wine and heard NOTHING from the company. Finally, I called 4 times and emailed and miraculously, the wine was delivered to them, but they did not tell me.
After a ridiculous surcharge which I paid, hopefully my wine will be delivered in another 4 months.

Really

Really, the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company. I purchased a six pack of chateau barton and paid in advance. Months later tariffs were enacted, so I paid the tariffs. The wine finally shipped after a year, then held in NY for months. I continually called and wrote emails only to receive incorrect, or deceptive responses. Finally, the wine was shipped and a couple of weeks later I called again. Millesima said it was “lost” in shipment. I cancelled the order and actually did receive a refund. This company deceived me, as compared to other honorable organizations.

When employees in Millesima USA sent me…

When employees in Millesima USA sent me emails informing me of arrival of the wines (and wine box) I ordered, they used a cheap software without unique order or tracking numbers in the subject line, or the employees were just careless. Consequently FedEx just put my wines in a distant shipping center, rather than placing it in a near pickup store. Considering that I paid >$200 for shipping the wines and >$25 for the box, such a level of service is not acceptable! I always thought that Millesima USA would provide much better service than some local wine shops. After this experience I would never order any wine from them!

The best!

I have enjoyed buying wine from Millesima USA. Customer service is unsurpassed. The wine I bought was delivered in excellent condition. Highly recommend. Will buy again.

Hello Mr. Linton, I apologize for the inconvenience we have caused you regarding shipping estimations. We look for the best pricing and packaging when it comes to shipping wine. Because there aren't any adequate 375ml 12 bottle shippers, we use the industry standard 375ml 6 bottle shippers. Shipping 48 bottles in 6 bottle boxes did increase the shipping costs. But we are looking to have custom 375ml 12 bottle shippers made to bring shipping costs down. I assure you our shipping charges are reflective only of the cost of shipping, there are no fees associated with this cost. Because shipping costs vary from time of purchase to the time of delivery, we don't give advanced estimates for wines shipping three months from the purchase date (wines from our Pre-Arrival selection). But we are looking to implement a new program to our system to give advanced estimations before placing your Pre-Arrival orders. Your feed back is important to us as we are always trying to enhance the customer experience. Thank you.

Millesima is the best!

I've been ordering my Bordeaux from Millesima for several years now, and I won't go anywhere else. They have helped me track down several obscure or otherwise hard to find French wines, and I'm always impressed with the pristine shape the bottles are in when they arrive -- this must have something to do with Millesima's unique relationship with producers in France, which you can't get with other retailers. Don't think twice, just call them if you want the best service on your French wines.

wait too much, huge shipping charges

Have to wait two month to get the order , been charged $43 for the shipping of one box from NY to Washington DC

I apologize for the inconvenience we have caused you. Our Bordeaux Pre-Arrivals waiting times are clearly stated in our website. We also confirm this waiting period with an email follow up. For D.C we use a third party shipper which does increase the shipping cost but this is to assure your wine gets to you safe and sound. I apologize again and we will send shipping estimates for customer in our third-party shipping states. Your feed back is important to us as we are always trying to enhance the customer experience.
