Supporto superiore radiatore
I decided to buy the upper radiator support for my 1998 Mini MPI. There were two types on the website: one of poor quality and the other identical to the original, complete with the rubber seal. Naturally, I opted for the original one. When the package arrived, I realized I'd received the lower support instead of the upper one. I contacted them and they assured me they'd ship it. A few weeks later, after paying €5 in customs fees again, I opened the package and noticed they'd shipped the support I'd rejected because it was hideous! All this because, in addition to probably being a stock item because no one buys it, it also costs a few pounds less.
Pitiful!!
Never again!
Details compromised through their insecure website
First time using Mini Spares and I have to say I didn't find the staff overly helpful tbh on the phone whilst checking items. They weren't rude at all and did help but didn't go out of their way to assist. Had difficulty checking out once I eventually found all the items I needed. Finally after speaking to them I managed to pay but then a couple of days later was informed my card details had been compromised on their site and likely stolen. They were quick to highlight this to customers and gave an apology but that was it; like other companies they dont bother with any compensation for stress and time to the customer trying to solve security issues caused by their less than secure website. I know these things can happen but its a shame companies merely say 'sorry' and then expect it all to be OK?! This is a shame as they have a huge range of stock it seems but I will be using another company if I can in future.

I wish I could give a zero,
The new website is half baked. No warning given about site changes and I lost my order and history of past purchases. I also had to set up a brand new account and even that has glitches. The other BIG problem is while the initial prices look attractive by the time you have gone through their long winded application for a shipping estimate then you will need to be seated as the shipping charges will be eye watering, particularly if you choose any type of courier delivery. It really is a pity as they used to be sooo much better.
Company has gone downhill
Company has gone downhill. New website is terrible, customer service non- existent, and their new courier shipping estimate system is a lot more expensive than just a few weeks ago , and you no longer have the shipping options as you once did. They offer a wide range of products at what appear to be low prices but if buying Mini parts for the USA you might want to start shopping as the total price you pay
Worst Customer Service
Great selection of parts but horrendous customer service.
Bought some parts for a mini rebuild. When parts fitted, found that one of the parts wasn't working correctly. When contacted was told out of warranty, part only 10 months old and clearly a fault from start.
Terrible customer service, they even tell lies!
As the most comprehensive site for Classic Mini's, MiniSpares don't have to care about their customer service, and they don't!
The service stops once they have your money, and after that they don't give a damn, they'll fob you off, and even try to lie to you rather than deal with an issue.
My advice: Find another supplier that actually cares for their customers. It doesn't matter if you've previously spent thousands with them, you're just another gullible mug to be fobbed off to them!
Poor Customer Support
Many thoUsands of pounds have been spent by us at Minispares uk.
We ordered amongst other things an indicator relay that we found didn’t click.
Mini spares north were contacted by email. Rich replied “ Modern flasher units are transitorised now rather than the old bimattalic strip types so don’t make a noise”
My reply was that this part was supposed to be a direct replacement for my particular model. Additionally the Minispares website does not say this unit does not click. To date no reply.Another customer lost from poor customer support
Yet again saved my ass from hitting the ground
Yet again the advice within MiniSpares for sale items descripts has saved my ass from hitting the ground - literally ! - unknowing you help more than you think - 100 stars, 100 virtual hugs !
If your suspension has dropped suddenly, or you have loud squeaking noise during suspension movement, then these knuckles are one of the first things you should check. If left unchecked, the knuckle can wear through the nylon cup, into the suspension arm, and ruin the casting that supports the knuckle joint.
Much cheaper than changing arms. Grease is LM2, see DEP71500
Fits front and rear except later cars 1990 onwards that had a built in spacer for extra ride height clearance at the front (GSV1264EVO).
'In 1984 when the Mini was put onto 12" wheels as standard several small details were changed. One was to include a thick washer under the knuckle joint (21A1845) to raise the suspension a little in order to gain wheel clearance and suspension travel. Others included packing behind the teardrop mounts, also to gain wheel clearance. In 1990 when the cone spring rubber specification was slightly changed (again) they decided to introduce a front knuckle joint that had this spacer included in it already. This was both to make assembly faster and also to prevent mechanics losing the spacer when repairing the front suspension and completely messing up the Mini ride heights when they failed to notice that one side was lower than the other.'
Wouldn't touch these with a barge pole
Wouldn't touch these with a barge pole. Given I'm 5 hours away from these guys in York, I'd called ahead in the morning for stock check. They had everything in stock, perfect! Travelling home from Newcastle back to Surrey I was planning on dropping by and collecting the parts I needed which was around £250. I was due with them around 520pm (closes at 530), to be told NOT TO BOTHER, its not fair on his staff me turning up then. Why turn business away? Ridiculous. I'll support Bull Motif throughout my restoration!
Mini spares can poke it.
Very bad experience!
Very bad experience!
I bought 2 times on the same day and had to pay both times for shipping and customs clearance. I'm used to buying from other English e-commerce sites but never paid the customs clearance too. As DHL communicated to me, generally the other companies bear the customs clearance costs but Mini Soares does not!
I contacted Mini Spares customer service but they said they didn't care and if I canceled the order they would still charge me for shipping.
So I found myself paying €400 for a purchase of €270. I am aware that with Brexit there are higher costs to pay but different attention towards me would have made the difference in my buying experience.
It would have taken very little to keep me as a customer, simply a "I understand, we're sorry but our company policy provides for this way of operating", instead you treated me indifferently.
Needless to say, you've lost a customer who is passionate about British cars and I'm going to give you a lot of negative publicity, so let's see how much you care. I certainly believe that, however, your competitors will be happy.
Excellent company always willing to help

The very best parts supplier in the field. The staff are always friendly & knowledgeable. Superb stocks & fast service. What more could anyone want.
10/10
Great Knowledge
I've ordered a lot of parts over many years. I love the diagrams with parts on them. Makes finding parts really easy and additional parts that make the job easier.
The notes added to some parts also are really helpful because i'm no expert on some of these fixes/upgrades too.
A great supplier for all your Mini needs
I've used Minispares for well over a year now whilst restoring my Mini. They have a fantastic website helping you to find what you need and listing alternative upgraded parts. Whilst deliveries are taking a little longer to process due to the impact of Covid 19, they are always completed in full, typically delivered within a week of ordering and there is always someone helpful to talk to at the end of the phone when needed.

It's been 10 days and my parts still haven't arrived. I called them yesterday and the response I got was poor. I explained that 3 other Mini companies I used had taken between 2 and 5 days, his response was...."they won't be as busy as we are" Great response!
I have tried several companies to decide who I should use for a full rebuild.
It certainly won't be mini spares
Worst customer service. I won't shop from them again
They have a large variety of parts although they tend to process them extremely slowly. When the order leaves their facilities then it's all good. They answer their emails regarding product questions fast, but they give minimal details. For instance if you ask if something fits they they will either say yes or no. You have to specifically ask them "if it does't fit, what are the alternatives. Basically you have to exchange tons of emails with them before you decide what you need. Moreover they can mix up your order. Lastly, one of the worst customer experiences I have had. I am replacing them for a competitor.
