⭐ 1 STAR – Extremely disappointing removal service

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. I am a single mum and moving home was already a very stressful experience, so I trusted this company to make things easier. Unfortunately, I was left feeling extremely let down.

I was completely transparent with the boss from the beginning. I explained that I was moving from a two-bedroom first-floor flat to a two-bedroom maisonette with stairs. Despite this, I was later told there would be an additional £10 per hour charge for the stairs, even though this had been made clear from the start.

They arrived one hour late and the problems continued from there.

When disconnecting my washing machine, the water was not properly turned off, causing my kitchen to flood and water to go through to my neighbour’s ceiling.

Halfway through the move, they drove away without checking with me, believing I had finished. I had to phone them and ask where they were, and they had to turn around and return. There were also numerous smoking breaks despite me paying by the hour, and my friends and I were helping with the move.

Several items were damaged, including wardrobes and a chest of drawers.

They also pulled my living-room radiator off the wall to get the sofa into the room. When I asked them to fix it, I was told, “It came like that.” This is a new property and it absolutely did not come like that. The radiator is still wobbly.

The TV was another issue. I was repeatedly told, “We’ll do that last,” but they drove away without taking the TV upstairs. I even texted them to point this out. Two men came back the following day specifically to carry the TV upstairs, but none of the other outstanding jobs were completed.

The washing machine was also reinstalled incorrectly and would not drain. I had to pay £65 for a plumber, who told me the stopper had not been removed when it was connected and that I was lucky the pipe had not burst.

Other jobs were also left unfinished. Bags were put in the wrong rooms, the backs of my KALLAX units were not put back on despite being told they would be, and I had to put the legs back onto my sofas myself.

When I raised these issues with the boss, rather than trying to find solutions, I was called “malicious” on multiple occasions. I found this extremely upsetting. I was simply raising genuine concerns about damage, unfinished work and additional costs.

I paid £700 in removal fees, plus the additional stair charge, and I even gave them a tip. Looking back, I regret doing so.

I wasn’t expecting perfection. I simply expected a professional service, care for my belongings and accountability when something went wrong.

Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I would not use this company again and would strongly recommend others consider their options carefully before booking.

Absolutely shocking experience. Should have known that booking a removals business on a Friday and agreeing to pay by the hour - every trick in the book to go slow (e.g. making 2 x trips with half full vans).

They tried to renegotiate the hourly rate as the flat had stairs and threatened to drive off with our belongings if we didn't pay. We moved most of the furniture ourselves. They exaggerated the hours worked and threatened my daughter when she refused to pay the inflated bill.

For good measure they drove off with our coffee mugs.

Beware, this company is awful.

Absolutely disgusting scam of a company. They try to squeeze money out of you by taking advantage of you. I am a student and booked a removal from London to Coventry. When requesting their services on email I inquired what the quote would be. To which I was told, it was £90 per hour.

In its entirety, the removal was stressful and poorly managed. The management did not bother inform the driver of my address and phone number despite assuring me on email that they put it on “record” 3 weeks ago. As a result, the driver had to waste almost 20 minutes locating my address. I also had to call the driver myself by getting his number through the Mr. B’s receptionist to give him my number and ensure he could contact me.

It took the driver 3 hours to get to Coventry from London but I was told I needed to pay £630 for the removal. Bear in mind, I didn’t have any heavy items such as a tv or a large wardrobe. Only a few boxes with clothes and some kitchen items.Why did I need to pay for 7 hours when I only used their services for 3 hours?

I tried discussing this with the owner Mr Bee - who was extremely disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional. Mr. Bee, I must inform you that calling your customers a liar, and cutting your customers off by shouting over them when they try to speak to you is not providing customer service.

Mr. Bee you have 0 integrity or morals - looking for disgraceful ways to make money by taking advantage of your customers will never make your pathetic company successful.

I must admit the driver who did the removal (Thomas) was kind and patient. He also sympathized that the management was taking advantage by charging me for 7 hours when I utilized their services for 3 hours. Thomas also offered me his personal business card because he knows that Mr. Bee’s “business” is a dishonest money-making racket.

I strongly recommend avoiding this company. They arrived 1.5 hours late, took 8 hours to move a the contents of a small apartment, damaged multiple items. Their customer service is appalling.

The guys were fantastic, I had a few very strange requests I needed and they were more than happy to help with everything!

They were even kind enough to let me make the payments slightly delayed.

The guys frankly bent over backwards to help me and get me sorted and I could not be more appreciative!!!

Experience of another good service from Mr Bee removals is great, timely, competent, and friendly service from office to movers. Great experience y' all! Thank you.

Although they moved the arrival time twice they kept me informed of the delay. Apart from that they managed everything well and added a stop along the way. This is my family's second time using them and would recommend. Made moving alot less stressful. Very greatful especially in a heatwave they were still efficient and very helpful.

On 31 May 2026, I used Mr Bee Removals for my move from Catford, South East London to Middlesbrough (North East, England) which is 5-6 hrs drive, and I couldn't be happier with the service.

Before the move, I packed all of my belongings myself and had already dismantled my bed frame. The only furniture that required dismantling was a mirrored wardrobe, which the team handled for me and then reassembled at the new property. They also reassembled my bed upon arrival.

A special thank you to Chris and Matt, who were polite, friendly, professional, and hardworking throughout the entire day. They arrived on time, handled my belongings with great care, loaded everything efficiently, and completed the move without any issues.

Despite the long journey from London to Middlesbrough, they remained positive, helpful, and professional right through to the final item being unloaded and assembled.

I'd also like to thank John, who provided the quotation. I obtained several quotes from different removal companies, and Mr Bee Removals offered by far the best value for money. The quote was extremely competitive and significantly more affordable than many of the alternatives I received.

The communication from the team was excellent from start to finish, and everything was explained clearly throughout the booking process. I particularly appreciated the transparency around pricing, timings, payment arrangements, and what was included within the service.

Based on my experience, I would happily use Mr Bee Removals again for any future move and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and competitively priced removal company.

We used BEE Removals for our house move and they were great. They arrived promptly, they worked very hard to get the job done on an exceptionally hot day and got the job done well within the quoted time. They were professional and courteous which also helps. I would definitely recommend their service/ use them again.

They arrived stoned and told their manager we lived on the 10th floor - we live on the second. He called me, unprofessional and unpleasant, suggesting that I was lying because ‘his man was telling him 10th floor’. Because of us living on the 2nd floor (this had absolutely been specified through the booking platform) he charged us an extra £10 an hour. I saw here on trust pilot that he has done the same to others. Desperate to move, we accepted.

The men took an absolutely ridiculous amount of time moving our stuff. Two small bags at a time, trudging up and down the stairs at a snails pace. They continually left all our belongings in the open street unsupervised. It got to the point that I had to start running stuff down myself because it was just unacceptable.

When we were finally in the van they smoked another joint while we were driving to our destination. A 45minute drive took them 2.5 hours. Granted, there were diversions due to a protest, but he failed to follow any of them.

When we arrived, they were so slow at getting our things out and inside that we sent them on their way and had to carry the majority of the stuff up the stairs ourself.

The whole thing ended up costing us double, with us doing the work ourselves just to have it over and done.

Awful service, terrible experience, I have no doubt that this would be a common occurrence.

The team arrived on time, worked with us to identify the most efficient way to load the Luton vans and got cracking!

What a great team from Mr Bee Removals. It really was a fantastic experience.

The two guys were professional and friendly. Worked so hard and quickly, whilst being very careful with my stuff.

I thought the whole experience would have been stressful but in all honestly it went so smoothly. I just want to say a huge thanks to the team at Bee Removals for making my move a very good experience.

We used Mr Bee at quite short notice to move my two daughters to their new flat and I couldn't be happier. Communication was great from start to finish. The quote was very competitive and the removal guys were careful and efficient. The move into the flat became quite complicated and the guys took it in their stride and were very professional. 100% would recommend.

Mr Bee Removals was extremely professional, timely and thorough. The movers were careful with everything and adept at moving even big, unwieldy furniture. A bargain too. Highly recommend.
