I spoke with George over the phone and he said to bring the car in.
I drive from Mitcham, near Tooting, solely down to the good reviews and their 50 years of being in business.
He had a look and showed me under the car. Said it didn't need replacing and that they would repair instead.
I spent the day working online in Reigate and they repaired the exhaust.
Honest, straight forward customer care, very good service, great looking repair job and a good saving.
Highly recommend checking here first before replacing your exhaust.

Quoted £288 to weld a short pipe to my cat on my MK4 Golf. Simply too greedy and Job doesn't warrant that much money.
Short length of pipe about a foot long, probably cost them next to nothing.
If I supply cat they want £350 just for fitting plus extra for any brackets used. Not sure why when that's more that their price to supply and fit a cheap aftermarket one.
My current one doesn't need removing so lot less work.
Prices on website are not accurate and have apparently risen.
Happy to support a small business as was in business myself for many years but the work doesn't warrant the price, not in my case anyway.
Could understand if they were going to remove and refurb it or remove, clean and weld other side and bend pipes etc but this is minimal work and materials.

About 6 years ago I had a different car and went to Mr Exhaust in Reigate regarding a catalytic converter issue. Back then I was gobsmacked at the masterclass of an experience in customer service I was given by George at Mr Exhaust in Reigate. I left so impressed, that it was a no brainer of who to choose, when 6 years later and with a different car, my newer vehicle needed a complete rear section to its twin-exhaust. Glad to meet George again, so, still the same masterclass in customer service, only this time, he and his staff took it up another few notches. Firstly, the price. Mr-Exhaust supplied and fitted a genuine Honda exhaust at LESS than the cost of the part??? Secondly, they explained/discussed my car like genuine car enthusiasts, inspecting other areas and advising that I had a hole in the front down-pipe (which I suspected due to the engine not running quite as usual). Endless free drinks (hot-chocolate for me thanks), actual physical newspapers to read while you wait in their clean premises, the whole experience was an absolute joy. Reigate itself is a pleasure to explore whilst my car was being seen to and when I returned, the job had been done to perfection. The hole at the front downpipe was welded better than the quality of welding done by Honda! When it came to paying, the freebies flooded, I was thrown literally everything apart from the kitchen sink, including a beautiful 50th Anniversary mug, which I have to say has now become my favourite as it is bigger than all my others and has a very, very comfortable handle (yes, I know, TMI!). Seriously, this mug is quality (as are all the other freebies). As you can tell, I'm more than delighted Mr Exhaust won my work and also that I took George's advice from the start and opted for the slight more expensive exhaust system that is clearly made of quality steel to last many, many years (certainly will last a lot longer than something from some franchised type quick fitting establishment). A really pleasurable experience. I have ZERO hesitation in recommending this fine establishment and their exhaust and catalytic services. You will not regret it!

Totally recommend this place ! As a woman. Who often gets ripped off through no knowledge of cars ! These guys were totally honest ! Done the work really well and quick ! Kept the price as low as possible , and gave lots of free advice explains other things that could possibly be wrong with car !!!! So helpful and polite too ! Great service !

As the title says… if you’re looking for somewhere for repairs, advice or fitting of an aftermarket system the team at Mr Exhaust are friendly, flexible and will get the job done no questions asked. You always get the absolute best craftsmanship, backup up by a long guarantee. I have personally had 3 aftermarket exhaust systems fitted here, a custom straight pipe and I would never go anywhere else.

Excellent repair of leaking exhaust.
A new section of pipework was fabricated and welded.
I had a Catlock fitted a couple of years ago to reduce the risk of the catalytic converter being stolen.
The chaps at Mr Exhaust made the repair without the need to remove the Catlock.
The car is running great since the repair and am very pleased.

Great service, only replaced the parts that were needed. Provided free refreshments whilst I waited and then gave me some freebies (pen, pad etc) and a transferable discount voucher. All work guaranteed for 2 years. Would highly recommend.

A great first experience with this Reigate company and I have told everyone! Polite and friendly team who fixed a problem no one seemed able to at much less than I had been quoted by Nssan who didn’t actually have the parts available. I highly recommend George and the team for their extremely efficient and altogether pleasant service.

I had a problem with my exhaust and George looked at it and recommended a repair which he could do then and there. It was a reasonable price and I was very happy with the work done. The job took a little over an hour and I had a pleasant time in Reigate in the meantime. There is also free tea and coffee and papers to read while you wait.
I would be happy to recommend Mr Exhaust in Reigate to anyone.

After trying to find an exhaust system for my Vauxhall Astra vxr and getting nowhere I found mrExhaust . I first spoke to Malcolm who reassured me that they would be able to repair my exhaust and then George phoned me later to get more information about the problem with my exhaust and booked it in. I never normally leave reviews but it was a treat to have a first class job done and have such good service from start to finish. I spent a few hours in Reigate and George showed me the work which had been done while the car was still on the ramp I had to travel 1hr25 to get there but well worth it . Service like this these days is very rare .I have given mrExhaust 5 stars . I would highly recommend. Dean smith

We own a 32 year old Mercedes 190E & the exhaust fell off as it was well worn & we had never had it replaced since new ! We tried everywhere to get a new one, even our local Kwik Fit in Berkhamsted didn't want to know. My husband went on the internet & found Mr Exhaust, we phoned them & they said bring it down to Reigate & see what we can do. It was a 4 hour round trip on the M25 but they said they could get one in & modify it to fit the old car. We eventually drove down, George was so helpful. We walked into Reigate & enjoyed that for 3 hours, then George phoned to say car was ready. It looked perfect underneath & it runs so much better. What a brilliant job the fitters did. They well earned 5 star rating. Have even got 2 year guarantee. Brilliant team. Also, spoke to Malcolm when George was off one day & what a lovely man he is. Well worth the £800 😁

I found Mr Exhaust on the internet as my car had a very specific issue with the exhaust/catalytic converter that required specialist welding. They were really easy and flexible to book with. When I arrived, they put my car up onto a ramp to show me the damage and explained how they were going to fix it. When I returned, they offered to show me the work they had carried out. My car was completely fixed. Great service and very friendly and efficient people.

Not your usual exhaust center, these are real professionals at getting jobs done that standard exhaust centers can't manage, in the experience I had with them I felt anything was possible and feel my exhaust now is better than it was when I purchased my car from new. Located a 5 minute drive from J8 of the M25 Mr Exhaust is well worth a visit. They specialise in exhaust systems pure and simple. They also offer a bespoke service where exhaust systems are not available, such as for classic cars.
I cannot speak more highly of the honesty, speed and overall excellent service delivered by George at the Reigate branch of Mr Exhaust.
Having been given quotes averaging £750 with a highest quote of £1,300 and knowing the parts at the worst were readily available for £250 at worst for front, middle and back I was determined to find someone honest that would not try to fleece me.
I found Mr Exhaust on Google. I had not heard of them previously however reviews were excellent and prices seemed likewise.
Booking in with them for a check was a smart decision. I was charged a grand total of £150 and while I had taken the car for them to simply do a check, they were able to do the work then and there which was fantastic. It took about 90 minutes all in all.
As an example, Kwik Fit told me I needed a full exhaust system, a local garage told me middle and back. George took a look and then showed me what he had found and his recommendation which was to fit a new back box only. Rust on the centre pipe that looked on the face of it bad I was assured is actually superficial and the front was immaculate with several years service left in them.
Complimentary hot drinks are available on site and there is a waiting room. The town centre is a ten minute walk max.
Mr Exhaust seem to have good ties to the town; they provide a leaflet with a map for Customers who aren't familiar with the area and they highlight some key retailers including charities such as the British Heart Foundation. There is a lovely walk to the town, through castle parkland.

Very professional, competent and trustworthy. My 25 year old jap car has a new exhaust system, carefully executed and planned. Thank You for doing this i had been turned down by other garages when you guys could do it, Thanks again George and company… even waited for me while the shop was closed on pick up day. The free coffee in the vending machine is also refreshing!
