Travellers Beware!
We have stayed in Mullion Cove Hotel Apartments before. That being the case, I thought if I rang the hotel, having already looked online for the price and availability of one of the apartments, that they might reduce the price a bit. The cost online was £856.72 for 3 nights and a bit more than we could afford.
I rang the hotel, who told me the price for the week would have been £2,000.00 but she had asked the Manager who said we could have those 3 days for £1,500.00!!!
Wow - rip off time - Christmas and all that.
Be sure to check out their prices if you want to go here.
We won't ever go there again, because I don't feel I could ever trust them not to rip me off again.
What was more, I published a review of our experience on Trip Advisor. They notified me that my review was published, then mysteriously, it was removed because they told me they could not publish reviews that did not meet their guidelines which meant:
"We want to hear about your experience. This means no second-hand information, rumors, or quotations from other sources in your review.
Please only provide reviews based on substantial experiences you've had while traveling and be sure to include enough detail in your review that other travelers will find your advice helpful."
I can only assume that Mullion Cove Hotel made another shady move in having my review removed!
Therefore please note that this was my actual experience and in fact, I did a screen print proving the price at check-out stage of the appartment I had been hoping to book! I still have the screen-print as evidence.
