Lost in transit
The coin was purchased online then sent to me via Aust Post. It got lost in transit. MyCollectables showed minimal interest in my predicament. I had to do all the chasing up with Aus Post. When it was finally deemed to be lost the sender pretty much said "bad luck you should have taken up insurance, bye". Luckily Aus Post has paid me for my loss (up to $100). But MyCollectables has lost a customer!
Your reply: who is doing the "misrepresenting" here! I kept emailing you with updates I was discovering from Aust Post. You never lifted a finger. You didn't even mention that Aust Post gives up to $100 compensation. Misrepresentation. Pffft

Hi Tim, this is not an accurate presentation of what happened. We were in regular email contact and as you were in contact with Australia Post, I asked you to keep me updated. When you informed me that Australia Post had lost your parcel I expressed my dismay at the situation. Your parcel is automatically covered up to $100 by Australia Post. My parcels are not, hence why we offer additional insurance at checkout. You got a pretty good result given the circumstances but please don't misrepresent what happened.
