This is a total scam. Any honest program would allow you to cancel through their website. I was caller #1, but had to wait 10 minutes before someone answered the phone. Yes they offer a call back service, but I didn't trust that it would call me back.
Just remember, the person on the other side of the phone, isn't the knucklehead that came up with this scheme and they are just doing their job, putting food on the table to eat. Be kind to them.... It takes about 6-8 minutes, but eventually they will cancel your membership.
MyScoreIQ will no doubt respond to this stating they have no record of my call, as they have for others.

What kind of legit company would sign up foreign customers and not offer email customer support? If any money get debited from my accounts I’ll send Visas lawyers after them.

We had a hiccup, they called, went through everything, and straightened it out and refunded what I felt was fair. They said they would address the rudeness of the team member that was rude and hung up on me. so I changed my rating.

MyScoreIQ has adopted a cancellation design that is economically irrational unless intended to impose friction and retain revenue, which puts them in direct violation of ROSCA, 15 U.S.C. § 8403. Based on available evidence, intent is proven and will be further evidenced if they refuse to change policies after this TrustPilot complaint, WHICH WAS ALSO FILED WITH THE BBB.
Evidence:
• Phone-only cancellation: MyScoreIQ’s public account pages and terms direct customers to call to cancel rather than providing a clear, in-account, self-service cancel option.
• Agent-level obstruction: On September 11, 2025, I called on my mother/client’s behalf, waited 10 minutes on hold, and requested cancellation. The agent refused to process cancellation unless I produced Power of Attorney paperwork on behalf of my mother/client.
• Economic inference of intent: Staffing human agents to process cancellations is materially more expensive than offering an automated online cancel button. Persisting with a staffed, phone-only cancellation design despite low-cost automated alternatives is prima facie evidence that the friction is intended to delay cancellation and retain revenue, in breach of ROSCA’s “simple mechanism” requirement.
• No plausible consumer-harm rationale:
A third party canceling at the account holder’s direction poses a financial risk neither to the company nor the paying client. If an error ever occurred, the account holder could easily just re-enroll. The POA paperwork requirement operates as deliberate delay and obstruction to being able to easily cancel, and not protection.
Pattern and notice: This complaint creates a public paper trail that MyScoreIQ/IDIQ’s cancellation design is a deliberate corporate policy decision violating ROSCA. Their refusal to amend policies after notice will be probative of willful noncompliance.
Legal basis
ROSCA — 15 U.S.C. § 8403: online negative-option sellers must provide a “simple mechanism” for consumers to stop recurring charges. MyScoreIQ’s cancellation design does not meet that statutory requirement.
IMPORTANT: As evidenced by other responses, in response to this complaint, this company will likely overtly LIE and misrepresent reality claiming to have a cancel button on their site. This is an overt lie. This lie further proves that they are NOT TO BE TRUSTED, and that their deliberately difficult cancellation policy is designed to increase the income that they can collect from their clients, even when it's their intention to cancel.
Additionally, they force you to have to refresh your scores manually each month, and you have to wait 30 days from your last refresh to get your scores again without paying. This serves to continuously push the date where you're able to get your scores further and further back, which enables them to extract more money from their clients.
In summary, their entire system is based on and deliberately designed around maximizing cash extraction, not honesty, integrity and good customer service. STEAR CLEAR! There are better options available! Do NOT give this dishonest company your hard earned money!

This is the worst app ever!!!! It says you can access your fico2 score but only shows the 8 and you can’t even cancel it on the site. I have never ever had this much problems with an app. They are thieves s as far as I’m concerned. 🤬

MyScoreIQ is a part of Identity Intelligence Group LLC. While the service may be beneficial to some, I just wanted a few days to see what my credit scores were doing. After the free trial, I went to cancel my account and realized that the only way to cancel is to call and speak to someone. I was irritated but called Monday, they were closed for Memorial Day. I was further irritated when I had to call in the following day. I was trying to prepare myself for the conversation as best as I could but I was unprepared for the person on the other end of the line continuing to not listen to me when I repeatedly asked to cancel. She continued to say "I understand but did you know...." She would ramble on for what seemed likes minutes telling me all of the benefits. I told her I had made up my mind and to cancel my account. Again, she said "I understand but I see your email address has been used x amount of times..." My composure failed at that point. I angrily told her that I realized it was her job to try to keep me on the phone as long as possible but I didn't feel well and I just wanted to cancel my account. AGAIN, she said I understand but... I lost it. I told her that, if she insisted on continuing her speech that I would put her on mute so I wouldn't have to get angrier. I told her that I felt very coerced and would not have signed up for the free trial had I known this would have been the only route to cancelation. I told her that I was going to write this review. FINALLY, she went ahead and canceled my account.
I would only sign up for this service if 1) you want to use it past the trial or 2) you don't mind getting harassed when you call to cancel.
The company left a very bad taste in my mouth. Even if she had valid offers or concerns about my personal finance safety - with the coercive approach, why would I choose this company to work with???
Advice to the company:
1). Give us an easily identifiable button that cancels with one click.
2). Listen to a customer who says they want to cancel. This customer is not ignorant and has already made an educated decision and doesn't need you to demean them.
3). Don't continue to try to keep the customer on the phone through coercive control and manipulation. The conversation didn't need to escalate and this review didn't need to be written.

They give you a plethora of options to stay with them and do not listen well when you say that you're not interested in any of their services.

They are impossible to get rid of. You can call or email but the only way they will pay attention is if you dispute charges. They are leeches. DO NOT ALLLOW A LENDER TO INSIST THAT YOU HAVE TO GET FICO FROM THESE PEOPLE! ITS A SCAM!
