Excellent. Not much one can say, just perfect. On a sad day for everyone.

The facility at North Oxfordshire Crematorium is very impressive. The isolated setting adds to the atmosphere, spoilt by lockdown restrictions. The service area was bright, simple and contemporary. The on line recording option apparently worked well and once the plants and trees develop and grow the whole area will be first class.

During the Covid lockdown I can't thank North Oxfordshire Crematorium enough. The final ending for my Mother on 5/2/21 was so fitting for her life. The staff were respectful and the the venue was so comfortable & peaceful. The surroundings were beautiful and the sun shone for Mum that day. The livestream was excellent especially with the restrictions at the moment. Family & friends who were not able to attend or were overseas felt they were there.

The crematorium is so comfortable - bright - dignified

The venue was very peaceful - we were welcomed with great respect and both the Chapel and the Funeral service were just as my family wanted. With the current restrictions, it was wonderful that we were able to livestream the service to our overseas relatives so they could feel part of the service.

Lovely site, lovely chapel. In normal times the additional facilities of the waiting room and pavilion would be very welcome places to wait as extremely cold on the day we were there. Easy to find, well signposted, plenty of parking. Lovely ambience in the chapel, comfy seats.

Every aspect of my recent experience for the cremation of my wife was excellent. I visited the crematorium where the staff made me welcome following a phone call to make a date. They were all courteous, sensitive, informative and most efficient. So unlike my long experience with the retail trade!
The facility offers some particular benefits over the other three local crematoria: large close car park; separate waiting room; several lavatories; extensive facilities in the chapel; level well-pathed site so that the elderly have no problem with steep slopes or muddy paths. Easy road and bus access, without the hassle of heavy local-town traffic. One especial facility is the separate but adjacent Pavilion for mourners to gather after the ceremony. This is well furnished and most accommodating. Thank you all.

Such a lovely peaceful place, the memorial garden will be very pretty when the shrubs and trees mature. The walk around the area is a very therapeutic experience. Although it was sunny for us, I think the covered walkway is a great idea. The pavilion looks as though it would be a nice venue for the reception. The staff were so kind and sensitive to our needs. The modern sound system and the cosy comfortable chapel gave an old tradition a 21st century feel.

We chose this brand new facility for mum’s send off and were grateful in being met with understanding, care and courtesy over and beyond our expectations. Thank you to Callum, the Chapel Attendant, who was exceptionally careful to get all the details of our service just as we wanted them on the day. His management of some tricky cueing of the music was flawless. And thank you to all the staff who looked after us when we visited and answered our questions without any sign of impatience. I recommend this facility.

What a perfect setting to say a goodbye to a loved one.
So peaceful and tranquil just what is needed at a sad and difficult time.
The site and buildings were spotless and the staff worked quietly in the background so you wouldn’t know they were there.
The little we did see of staff, they were courteous and respectful to our loved one at all times.

Considering the restrictions it was lovely !

It was lovely - very happy with the service, the only reason I didn’t leave 5 stars was because

1. We weren’t allowed to drop or collect our 91 year old relative nearer the entrance via car. He has difficulty walking and as a result it took a long time, during which we all had to wait as he was the spouse of the deceased in this case - and no-one else wanted to take their seats before his arrival.

2. Although we appreciate that there is limited time for services, given the prevailing situation it might have been better to have just a fraction longer in between services as there were family members we didn’t have an opportunity to speak to before we all had to vacate.

Other than that, the setting is lovely and all went as well as could be expected.

The whole service was very smooth and efficient. The staff were polite and unobtrusive.
