Disappointing. Nice lady but very strong accent was hard to understand and the content of what she said was not very structured or interesting.

Perfect Historic Rome Tour

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. This was a perfect tour to see all the Colosseum and Roman Forum and to learn in depth about their history. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this tour to anyone.

This was literally the worst tour we…

This was literally the worst tour we took the entire trip in Italy. The company stopped responding to our emails. We had to contact them via whatsapp to get the meeting point and guide's name. The guide arrived, Samantha, without announcing herself. No introduction, no guidance, nothing, carrying the wrong color flag. She took us over, gave us crappy headsets, very little information about any of the exhibits, left many of us behind over and over, and then proceeded to rush us through every single thing in the Vatican and leave 30 minutes early making sure to stop by and ask us to review her before bolting while looking for her tip. This was the one thing in Rome I was really looking forward to and it was awful. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Find a different company. This was a complete waste of $400. I wish I would have just used the recorded tour the Vatican provided. I'm sure it was more informational.

Pisa tour very good

Pisa tour very good. Would have been good to be given some tour recommendations for Florence as left on our own. Would have been good to have an open return ticket for our train journey back to Rome so we could leave Florence when we wanted to.

Avoid this company like the plague. Excuse makers!!

I would give a zero if it was possible. Avoid this company like the plague. We booked weeks in advance to do the tour of the colusseum arena floor, in addition to Palatine Hill and Roman forum. I received a message when we arrived in Rome on June 10th that our tour was canceled for June 12th. They tried to rebook us for June 13th (after messaging us with the wrong date). Sadly, we will be leaving Rome on the morning of June 13th.
I have a travel blog with 71,000 followers and told them that we would be back in Rome for 1 day only on June 22nd. Even though they completely screwed up, I offered them a chance to give us the same service with some restitution for their screw up. They told me they had canceled our booking already, which makes no sense since we paid week earlier. Now, they will have to face the repercussions of the negative publicity. If anyone knows of another option for 4 of us for June 22nd, I would be happy to give them an incredibly positive review while I blast Numa on my blog and on tripadvisor. People deserve to know.

Edit update after their sorry reply: When you offer a service and know that people have limited opportunities in terms of time and that they book in advance, either use a method that ensures accountability or don't offer the service; better yet, find another profession. People develop itineraries well in advance and count on it being filled accurately. By offering a rebooking on the following day, it might sound like a viable solution to you to book on the next day. Unfortunately, it is hard to do this if you are on a train traveling to another city on June 13th. In order to attempt to come back to Rome on June 22nd, it is a major inconvenience we are attempting to make happen. The funny thing is that you "canceled" our booking that must not have even been in existence in the first place.
In effective business practices, when a proprietor can't meet the needs of the client, they do anything they can to make restitution and make it right. Your options were silly and after the fact that most were even possible. And if you truly think we would rebook through your specific company for June 22nd if we are able to get back to Rome, after this occurrence, with one potential day left in Rome, then you need to have your head examined. How would anyone trust your business? If you don't see this, you are oblivious.
The most negative review I will generate be posted this evening on my travel blog. I offered an opportunity for restitution to avoid negative reviews of Numa Tours everywhere, including my blog, but you mentioned we would have to rebook fully for June 22nd from the beginning.
Let's go from a 1 star to a negative 1 star rating as of now.

The guide showed up very late

The guide showed up very late. We were at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled time as instructed. But the guide wasn't there for another 20 minutes. After that, there was a long delay to enter the vatican too.

Most disappointing tour in my travels

We signed up for the Special Access Colosseum Arena Floor Tour through the Gladiator's Gate through Tour Guys that seemed to be very well reviewed. I did not know Tour Guys contract their tours and we'd instead be using Numa Tours. Unfortunately, this was among the most disappointing tours we've had throughout our travels. The guide's English was VERY difficult to understand, his demeanor and affect was unfriendly and monotone, and the tour was simply not fun, informative, or particularly interesting. By the time we reached the Roman Forum, we handed over our headsets and left early, as at least half of the others in our group had also done.

BE AWARE THAT YOU MUST HAVE A PHOTO ID TO ENTER THE COLOSSEUM. This company need to reach out to travelers IN BOLD PRINT that all parties will need their passports or a photo ID to tour the Colosseum. We later found this in fine print at the bottom of an email. We were nearly left behind at the gate by our guide because one person in our party did not bring an ID. Fortunately, a helpful employee of the Colosseum allowed her to use a credit card as a form of ID.

I wasn't aware our tour was out-sourced…

I wasn't aware our tour was out-sourced from The Tour Guy to NumaTours until I tried to meet our guide outside of the Colosseum in Rome. Finding the correct guide in a very congested area was stressful and didn't need to be. In addition, our guide Giuseppe was very monotone and not skilled at giving a tour.
