Après annulation par la compagnie, avec un remboursement INTÉGRAL (non respecté à cause de Prime…cf plus loin) que Opodo m’a IMPOSÉ alors que je leur demandais à être placée sur un vol d’une autre compagnie:
Il ont retenu 80€ de frais (!) soit ils ne m’ont donné que 160 sur les 240€ prévus pour se rembourser de l’offre PRIME qui m’avais donné droit à 80€ de réduction sur …l’AR (!) alors que 1/ l’aller a bien été fait, cela ne concerne que le retour (donc, la moitié = 40) 2/ le retour a été annulé PAR LA COMPAGNIE et donc me donne droit à un remboursement intégral et moi j’ai bien payé 240 € 3/ à la base je ne souhaitais pas remboursement mais un autre vol sur une autre compagnie, de fait…

Bref, comme FREEDREAMS auquel le groupe appartient, FUYEZ OPODO , c’est une pure arnaque

Ich hab nur ein Flug über Opodo nach Spanien gebucht.
erstmal wurde DIREKT Geld von meinem Konto abgebucht, obwohl der Flug nicht mal bestätigt war und in der Email von Opodo auch stand, die Bestätigung dauert nur wenige Minuten und ihr Konto wird nicht belastet.
Geld wurde also abgebucht, keine Flugbestätigung auch 24h später erhalten, musste dann ewig mit dem unfassbar schlechten KI Hilfezentrum schreiben, irgendwann dann doch wenigstens die Flugbestätigung.
Ich habe beim Buchen nix weiteres Abgeschlossen oder gekauft, aber dann eine Woche später gemerkt, das ich durch die Buchung des Fluges automatisch ein Abo für zusätzlich 120(!)€ abgeschlossen habe, was noch 5 Tage kostenlos wäre und sich dann zahlungspflichtig unbegrenzt verlängert.
Wollte das direkt Kündigen, in der App erstmal nix gefunden. Da wurde ich nur verwiesen, ich MUSS es telefonisch kündigen. unten stand klein jedoch auch ,,online kündigen“. Hab drauf gedrückt, komme da nur auf eine schlechte Website, bei der auch nur steht ich kann es NUR TELEFONISCH kündigen (auch NICHT 24/7, sondern nur unter Tags). Hab also angerufen, erstmal 5min KI Stimme wieder die die hälfte nicht verstanden hat. Als die Stimme mich dann gefragt hat, ob ich wirklich kündigen will und ich wieder gesagt habe Ja, wurde ich mit einem echten Mitarbeiter verbunden, der mir 8min anstatt mein Abo zu kündigen mir vollgelabert hat und versucht hat mir ein anderes Abo zu verkaufen.
NIE WIEDER OPODO‼️
Mein Flug ist erst in ein paar Tagen und schon jetzt nur versteckte Kosten, schlimmer Kundensupport und nur Probleme.
Lasst die Finger weg und bucht bitte direkt, wirklich günstiger ist es da auch nicht

Achtung Falle beim Reiseportal Opodoprime bzw. Opodo oder Edreams - diese Geschäfteinheiten firmieren alle unter dem Namen Opodo.
Mein Fall des von der LH-Tochter Discover stornierten Flugs am 01.11.2025 wurde abgeschlossen. Obwohl Opodoprime von Discover den vollen Preis erstattet bekommen hat, hat Opodo einen Anteil von rd. 25% für ihre (erfolglose) Vermittlung einbehalten. Opodoprime, bei einem Jahresbeitrag von rd. 120 €, lohnt sich nicht. Es ist eine Abzocke: Die ausgewiesene Ersparnis kommt großteils durch den Ansatz erhöhte Kosten, u.a. von Zusatzleistungen, wie Gepäck, Sitzplatzreservierung etc, zustande. Im Vergleich zum Flugpreis der Fluggesellschaft bei Direktbuchung kommt, wenn überhaupt, eine minimale Ersparnis zustande. Man muss schon mehr als 10 Flüge/Jahr buchen, um den Jahresbeitrag überhaupt auszugleichen zu können.BEI STORNIERUNGEN ERHALTEN DIE PASSAGIERE, DIE MIT OPODO BUCHEN, NICHT DEN VOM PASSAGIER AN OPODO BEZAHLTEN VOLLEN FLUGPREIS ZURÜCK!!

Avoid Opodo Prime Germany at all costs. This company is a complete scam.

They took €119.99 from my account WITHOUT authorisation for a “Prime” subscription that was supposedly cancelled last year. At the time, they admitted the issue and refunded the money, but clearly their colleague never actually cancelled the subscription properly because they renewed it again this year and charged my account again without permission.

Trying to resolve this has been an absolute nightmare. I spent over an hour on the phone being passed from one person to another, with every agent giving completely different excuses and contradictory stories:
• “The system is buffering”
• “We have a new system”
• “Refunds take 28 days”
• “It’s German law”

None of them could provide written confirmation of the refund or cancellation. Just endless excuses, lies, and wasting customers’ time.

This company operates in a completely dishonest and unprofessional way. Be very careful giving them your card details because they seem happy to continue charging people even after subscriptions are supposedly cancelled.

A phoney company with terrible customer service and highly questionable billing practices.

joined prime once to book a flight, then stuck in prime membership for 2 years - automatic renewal impossible to terminate online. Cannot reach this company through any medium except calling and waiting for ages.

This company is a disgrace I cancelled my prime membership only for them to take the payment and now tell me that they can’t refund but will give me a credit on my account that means I can use this on their over priced flights

absolutely a rip-off company, tricked me into a prime membership. booked a flight with all possible extras to make changes free due to visa struggles. no mail contact, basic useless chatbot, can't get hold of a person, no phone number I can reach from the country I am at, had to beg family to make calls for me, stating extra costs never mentioned before, and contradicting the ads and mail. they want to keep 50%!!! after cancelling the same flight. didn't experienced those methods since 2005. stay away from this by all means!

I was forced to accept a membership of this scheme when booking a flight. They promised I could cancel at any time within the first month. When I tried to do so, I was subjected to half an hour of heavy sales pitch - the £100 annual fee dropped to £50, then £20, as they just refused to accept that I did not want to go ahead. Eventually, they took me through the cancellation process, but it was a painful process, and confirmation took some time to come though, during which time the agent continued to try to sell me their scheme, which would be no use at all to me, as a twice-a-year traveller. If you can, please avoid them. If you can't, remember to cancel within that first month.

Opodo/eDreams enrolled me in their Prime membership without my clear consent during a booking. When I called to dispute it last year, the customer service representative told me she "could not give me a full refund", leaving me with no real choice but to accept a partial refund and vouchers. I also explicitly asked for my membership to be cancelled. She confirmed she would do so.

A year later, they charged me again. Same story, different representative. This time she offered me only 50% back (€45 of €90) plus more vouchers. When I pushed for a full refund and pointed out what had happened the previous year, which she could see in her system, she suggested reviewing the call recording, then immediately backtracked saying it was "over a year ago" and no longer possible.

To add insult to injury: if you cancel the membership renewal on their website, you lose access to any vouchers they previously gave you as compensation. You simply cannot use them. They are held hostage to keep you subscribed.

This is a textbook dark pattern. The membership is hard to find, hard to cancel, and designed at every step to extract money from people who never wanted to pay it. Customer service representatives are clearly trained to deflect, delay, and offer the minimum.

I am now pursuing a chargeback through my bank and filing a complaint with the ACM. I would encourage anyone in a similar situation to do the same rather than accepting their "offers".

Avoid Opodo and eDreams entirely if you can.

Opodo prime is a rip off and isn't worth a penny of what they charge for the subscription. They renewed my subscription for £100 without my consent and I asked for a refund on the first day of the renewal and they refused. Please stay away from them

Scam company! Avoid like the plague. They manage to sign you up through various dubious means and offer nothing in return. AVOID.

Man kann von Opodo und Opodoprime nur abraten. Nie ist jemand erreichbar (Email funktioniert auch nicht) und irgendwann merkt man: Jeder, der bei Opodo (eDreams) bucht, ist selbst schuld. Ich wundere mich, dass Opodo überhaupt noch Kunden hat.

Appalling waste of time and money. They do not fulfil their promise of the cancellation/change management and coordination between flight and car hire is non existent it seems. We booked a hire car from the airport but the office closed (and is always closed) before the arrival time of our flight. Had to pay for a hotel for the night and now being given a total run around by the various Opodo teams. Don’t bother wasting your money - you have to do all the research yourself re. If car hire locations will be running.

Additionally, the ‘priority line’ is a total farce with long wait times and very polite staff but either no pier or no skill to effect the changes required.

I had a very negative experience with Opodo Prime.
My subscription was activated without me intentionally choosing it, and it took me a long time to even realize I was enrolled. Canceling it was extremely difficult and frustrating. I only managed to do it after significant effort.
Over the past 12+ months, I regularly compared flight prices, and in many cases, flights were actually more expensive with Opodo Prime than on other search engines where I didn’t have any subscription.
I only managed to save money on a couple of bookings.
Overall, I’m very disappointed with the service and would not recommend it.

Obligé de mettre une étoile mais cet abonnement ne sert à rien du tout quand enfin vous trouvez votre voyage et que vous voulez l'acheter une page vous demande d'actualiser à chaque fois! Et donc impossible d'acheter avec prime

Did not know that I was signed up at this scam company and now they've drawn €125 from my account. Apparently they offer discount when buying flight tickets. Tried to call them, but only got to talk with some AI that did not help in any way. Stay away from this scam company, they'll rip you off!!

I echo the reviews here. Signed up for prime and saved £80 off my flights. Tried to cancel during the 14 day free trial and was sold the HARD sale. 50% discount, 80% discount... please don't cancel. I finally got an email confirmation that it had been cancelled and then a week later I was still charged the £100 annual membership. Not worth it for the discount!

I booked 2 flights with 2 different airlines, and Opodo have my first name as my surname on the bookings. OK, everyone can make a mistake, but they're not communicating with me, and I've been calling and sending messages for over a week! I've managed to correct one flight myself but not the other. I've even got a "Prime" membership with Opodo but makes no difference, they still don't help, so don't waste your time buying one. And before you say you cannot find the booking, the Opodo Ref. number is 24810789443
