Great company to use very professional couldn’t recommend more

Now in month 3 of TRT and what a difference it’s making. After my doctor made a slight tweak to my dosage it feels like I am now at optimal T levels, however 6 month bloods will confirm this. Prescribed meds arrive on time. Travel letter easy to obtain via link and support generally good. It does sometimes take a while for the phone to be answered during busy periods.
All-in-all I am satisfied with the service and would recommend Optimale.

Really positive experience with my Doc today. Even though we haven’t spoken in quite a while, he came across as approachable and attentive, like he was genuinely invested in making sure I was on the right track. The conversation didn’t feel rushed at all, and he gave clear, helpful guidance.

Repeated Issues and Poor Service – Very Disappointed

Unfortunately, this is the second review I’ve had to leave about optimale in less than a year.

My first experience was already poor. The doctor missed my appointment without any notice, and I was left waiting 30 minutes with no contact. I emailed optimale to ask why, only to be told I could rebook. That was the full response, which left me feeling very let down.

I posted a review about that incident, and someone named Jawad replied. He apologised and was genuinely helpful. Because of his response, I gave optimale another chance.

Since then, the service has only got worse.

In May, I tried to order my 12 weeks of medication. I got an email saying I couldn’t have it because my blood tests were not up to date. This was wrong — they were fully up to date. I had to send several emails, including my test results, before being told two days later that there had been a system error. My order was then approved.

Now, 12 weeks later, the same thing has happened again. My medication reorder has been cancelled because they claim my bloods are out of date — which is untrue. My next blood test is booked for 28th August.

I’ve emailed again to explain this and to express how upset and frustrated I am, but I’ve had no response.

I’m now close to running out of my medication. It feels like they’re happy to keep taking your monthly payment, but when it’s time to actually send your prescription, problems keep appearing — always with the system.

This is now the third serious issue I’ve had. I’ve asked for my card details to be removed until this is sorted and I hope I won’t be charged again.

If this doesn’t get resolved properly and quickly, I’ll be moving to another private clinic. I can’t trust optimale to manage something as important as my health anymore.

UPDATE: after speaking to Sian today they still haven’t apologised for being in the wrong instead of making things right trying to keep a client they have decided to refund me a few months and leave me without medication.

Avoid this company at all costs and I really hope the CEO Kevin and George see this and take this review very seriously.

Dr Reville was extremely easy to talk to and receptive of my thoughts. He was also informed and professional.

Slow response times, and repeat prescription ordering web link is not working. After pressing submit on the prescription request, the page just times out. I have emailed and have also phoned them, I am getting no responses whatsover.

I can't really fault the quality of medical care, assessment and treatment that has, for all intents and purposes, been great.

However the ordering system is completely archaic. One must re-order/request their prescription manually, throught a convoluted process, but the subscription may be rolling monthly payments, without having your order made. It just seems so bizzare to not integrate a more seamless process - with pauses in Subscriptions only where and when patients refuse/do not comply with routine blood testing.

As it stands, their website interface is really catered towards the capturing of clients/customers and little to support existing. An all in one login hub within the website would solve many issues.

Optimale is always very professional, they put your mind at rest about any concerns about your treatment. Always available through their mail box. Never had any issues since I started my treatment. I would recommend Optimale services to anyone, especially as you get that feeling they actually care about their patients.

Unfortunately the service has gone right down hill over the last 12 months. My recent experience with their Dr Singh was that I shouldn't even be on testosterone if I want to conceive - this goes against anything all the previous doctors have told me! You're paying premium prices and getting archaic advice and very slow service.
I actually really like the customer service girls but clearly they are so understaffed hence the huge drop in service. Emails go unanswered for over a week sometimes - I get quicker responses from my NHS doctors!
I'm now trying cancelling my subscription as I've moved to another clinic who have been outstanding. Still haven't had a response regarding my cancellation...Real shame as Optimale was a good company.
