Orvilles extended warranty JUNK & SCAM

I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator from Orville Victor NY 13 months ago. Salesperson sold me their extended warranty for hundreds of dollars. It is a 5 year extended warranty and I was told it would cover all repairs including parts and labor. I have a pull out drawer that the facia has come apart and drawer does not work, guess what, their warranty only covers the refrigeration and NOTHING ELSE. I was mislead to buy their warranty and not Frigidaires which would had covered it. STAY AWAY from ORVILLES, as you can see from others they have a terrible customer satisfaction scores. I will never buy from them again !!!!

USE ORVILLES FOR THE VERY LAST STOP FOR A NEW APPLIANCE. LOOK FOR MUCH BETTER PEOPLE.

I never owned a dishwasher even when they got old as much as 8 years old that the door leaked. I purchased a new kitchenaid from Orvilles that the door leaks on one side from the day it was installed and it is always different how it leaks. They want to put a new seal on a new dishwasher with a new seal. There is absolutely nothing visual you can see wrong with the seal or the unit. It is a non visual thing wrong in the unit. I dont want them to send someone over to GOOP IT UP. IT IS A BRAND NEW DISHWASHER. The dishwasher seal design is not a good design. I said I am open to if kitchenaid has a revised seal or upgraded one I would be happy to have that put on. They said there was none. NOT TAKE OFF A NEW DOOR SEAL THAT NOTHING IS WRONG WITH TO PUT ANOTHER NEW DOOR SEAL ON! Problem is a poor design seal that doesn't have enough compensate for the manufacturing errors in the structure. I know I design machines and build them and install them. I asked to let me upgrade to another unit after I go in to look them over to select another unit. THEY SAID OK BUT THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE ME 25%, THAT IS $200. FOR A DOOR THAT LEAKS THEY SOLD ME. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS. I RECOMMEND YOU REALLY LOOK SOMEPLACE ELSE FOR AN APPLIANCE FIRST BEFORE YOU BUY AT ORVILLES OR HAVE TO FORCE BUY THERE. YOU WILL FIND OUT HOW BAD PEOPLE HANDLE BUSINESS WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM. THIS IS WHEN I FOUND OUT. I DIDNT WANT TO BELIEVE IT, BECAUSE I HAVE HEARD ABOUT THERE PRACTICES FROM OTHERS AND DIDNT WANT TO BELIEVE IT. DONT TAKE THIS REVIEW LIGHTLY!

terrible customer service at Orville's

We recently purchased a dishwasher at Orville's, on 2/5/25 to replace a dishwasher that went down. we went to the store because we bought a stove there a month before. the salesman showed us a GE dishwasher that was exactly what we were looking for. told us it wasn't in stock, but they would have it around the 17th or 18th. called today and it's still not there and thy have no real idea when it will arrive. That's fine. what's not fine is the way the salesman "Brandon" treated my wife on the phone call. very rude and condescending. The store manager was no better, with both of them just stating " we'll give you a refund and you can go somewhere else". My wife was in corporate customer service for 49 years and I ran auto dealerships for 25 years. Both of us were shocked. how do you stay in business with employees like that. I know it's hard to find good employees these days but the guy that sold us the stove a few weeks before was very good. Long story short, my wife then proceeded to call they're corporate office and was talked to by a customer service person that is on the problem, and we are awaiting a return call. In all my years in retail business I never treated a customer like this, especially after I excepted their money for a sale or service. The salesman makes used car salesman look good.

Accepted a damaged fridge in O

Accepted a damaged fridge in October with the assurance of the damaged door was on the way. An OBVIOUS LIE. January 3 service shows up with the wrong door. After dealing with rude obnoxious and uncaring “customer service “ for the pat three months here we go again. Don’t expect any updates from “customer service “ why start competence and empathy to start now. Made purchases in the past but overall quality has left this company.

The in store staff was exceptional

The in store staff was exceptional. Our problems began when my wife was having issues with the grates on the stove being extremely heavy to lift. We had the stove less than 23 days. I used the stove once in that time to boil tea water. We went away so didn't use it. I contacted them about our issues. They said they wouldn't take it back, or replace it. We bought a refrigerator from Best Buy, they had no problems taking it back and replacing it. Buyer beware. I, will do all my future business with Best Buy.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS! My girlfriend and I bought a brand new dishwasher from these people last month. We opened the box this week to install it and it's BASHED IN! They won't exchange it, give a refund or fix it! And BOSCH you can't get a hold of on the phone. What a bunch of jerks these people are! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

We needed a new freezer in a hurry over…

We needed a new freezer in a hurry over the holiday weekend. The Orville's team (it was a phone order) could not have been more helpful throughout the process including incredibly prompt and efficient delivery. The whole process was astonishingly easy and successful. Definitely a 5 star experience.
