These guys do a bang up job and the meat is absolutely delicious. It’s always delivered on time and is frozen on delivery. My family have never had a problem with our cow. If I have any difficulties with ordering I always get help from one of the friendly staff over the phone and they help me fix it straight away. Thanks our cow :)

We did try but meat poor quality

Wanted to get behind this. Ordered over $200 of meat but the three we have tried so far is fatty, grisly or tasteless. Will persevere with what we have but cancelled our subscription due to poor quality

Poor Quality Meat and Bad Customer Service

I had high hopes for Our Cow as family members had recently signed up with good feedback. Unfortunately my first order had one product, (diced lamb), that was pure fat and not edible - we fed it to the dog. I emailed Our Cow three times over three weeks with no response. I finally got a response requesting a clear photo of the packaging details. After three weeks we had long since thrown the packing out! The customer service rep apologised and said there’s nothing they can do. After spending $80 on diced lamb, we expect better! We have cancelled our subscription and so has our extended family!

Not frozen not vacuum packed

Supposed to be delivered Wednesday - didn't arrive. Called Wednesday (voicemail) and sent email. Called Thursday morning (voicemail) then called again Thursday afternoon and got through. They said they couldn't find my email, I said what about the voicemails: oh no - we got those. Asked what happened and they said the delivery was delayed. Asked if I should have expected a notification via call email or even update in the tracker because on Thursday it still said delivery was pending for the day before: they had no answer. They advised it's been rescheduled for the following day: 2 days after the original delivery date and it's not up to them its up to the courier company. When I receive the meat, none of it is frozen and none of it is in vacuum packs so it's all fresh and I've already lost 2 days on sausages whose selling point is no preservatives. The quality of the sausages is really good but for all the hassle...

hmmmmm maybe not

the beef and honey snags were lovely as was the turkey bacon , we fed the sirloin x 4 to our dogs as it was so tough and dry then we tried another 4 sirloin same also the ribeye was inedible for the same reason . we really wanted to give these guys a fair go. we did reach out and have heard nothing as yet.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order from Our Cow. And after reading more recent reviews it turns out others are having the same problem and the company is taking no accountability for it. And not even replying. How awful.

I spent over $300 expecting high-quality meat, but what I received was honestly inedible. The sirloin and rib fillet were particularly bad — poor texture, odd colour, and nowhere near the standard I’m used to. I regularly buy these cuts and know what good sirloin and rib fillet should look and taste like. This wasn’t it.

Before anyone thinks I’m just being a “Karen,” I actually gave the company the opportunity to explain. I contacted them directly and sent clear photos showing how poor the meat looked. Their response? They said it was “up to standard.” That was incredibly frustrating and dismissive.

I even showed the meat to a friend of mine who’s a butcher, and they confirmed it didn’t look right. In the end, I couldn’t bring myself to eat it — I fed most of it to the dog, which is not what you expect after spending that kind of money on premium meat.

I really wanted to support a company like this, but based on this experience and the lack of accountability, I’m left gutted. Very disappointing. The company could have handled this so differently where it wouldn’t have cost them this bad review and they could have won back a customer who probably would have referred others, but they chose to be dismissive even when I sent them evidence which you can clearly see, sirloin is not supposed to be this fatty.

I reached out about my first order…

I reached out about my first order missing eight products and I am yet to receive a response. It's been a week and I'm getting the same generic email responses. Appalling.
Took my money and sent me not even a quarter of my order. That includes that free Tomahawk Steak deal they're raving about and the free Sirloin for a year. Didn't receive either of those.

Won't be buying from them ever again.

Unreliable delivery and only refrigerated (not freezer) transit

Tried to contact ourcow on scheduled delivery day to see where it was. Live chat says connecting to human but doesn't - don't use this. Contacted them for ETA and was advised apparently my very normal street address was *unable* to be found, but they didn't initiate any phone call or contact to clarify or complete delivery, nor deliver the same day when I confirmed still during business hours that my address had no special instructions etc. They couldn't tell me the problem, but looking on my account it seems there was an r at the end of my street address that should have been an n, and this was clearly unresolveable despite no similar streets in the town or postcode. Instead my delivery was just rescheduled to an alternate date of their chosing, six days after shipping instead of two days, throwing out not just meal planning and needing to purchase alternatives, but meaning the "frozen" delivery was not frozen. I was able to send footage showing I was home to collect and it was still defrosted meat, and simply told their shipping is refrigerated transit not frozen, this is safe to use and refreeze. Very disappointing that they didn't phone when there was a delivery issue to still complete it, especially if it is not frozen transit and then compromises freshness.

Rotten meat, orders arriving late, order not arriving at all.

I've only had two orders delivered far, both had quality issues. First time the mince in my order was not fresh. It was borderline, so I didn't bother complaining at the time. Second time my order was three days late and contained multiple packets of completely rancid rotten meat. I was reimbursed with store credit for the rotten meat, but nothing for the inconvenience other than an apology. My current subscription order which was meant to arrive today has not even been shipped. I haven't even been given a tracking number. I contacted them 4 days ago asking what was going on and still haven't received a reply. I've tried their online messenger, email, and multiple phonecalls where I have left a message and no one has gotten back to me. I understand they have less staff over the Christmas period, but this lack of service is ridiculous for such a large company. I wish I was one of the many people who rave about Our Cow, but so far my experience with them has been awful. Rotten meat, late orders, and now a subscription order that I assume hasn't even been processed. After reading so many positive reviews, I thought I would be receiving a premium quality product with premium service. Unfortunately my experience is far from it, nothing but hassle so far.

Loving it!

What could have been a bad experience has turned into a great one, thanks to the help of the lovely Casey in customer service! Loving all our steaks so far and so much more to try still!
Love what they are doing as a company providing quality products, delivered to your door, all while supporting very important people, Australian farmers! ☺️

Our Cow delivers the best meat I’ve…Best Meat & Even Better Service!

Our Cow delivers the best meat I’ve ever had – unbelievably fresh, full of flavour, and you can tell it’s raised right. It feels great knowing I’m supporting local Aussie farmers too.

The customer service team has gone above and beyond every time – friendly, responsive, and genuinely passionate about what they do.

I’ll never go back to supermarket meat. Highly recommend!

The friendly customer service team are there to help whenever & wherever they can & the products are no comparison to the competitors from the cuts,the portions of packaging to the taste hands down the BEST.
Supporting the local farmers is just a HUGE WINNER also.

I placed my first order worst…

I placed my first order worst experience ever. I had it scheduled for Sunday because I'm busy during the week. They had an error in their system, and they just decided my order would come on Monday instead of checking with me about my availability. I said it could get stolen or spoiled because I'm not home(apartment complex). Didn't refund, didn't cancel the order, all the options the girl on the phone offered were that it's too late, can't change now, maybe can send to another address, but not sure,...so basically no valid help. They did the change on a Saturday evening, and they expected me to deal with the change anyway. I'm not sure of the quality of the products, but no respect for customers' time or money. I'd say save your money and time, go with a local service. Wasted my time, I had to do another trip to the market to get meat for the week for meal prep, and wasted my time on a busy Monday. Delivery said it's coming between 10 to 12, no arrival on time either, now it's 1.30 pm and I have no update yet.

The meat chicken and pork were slightly off.It had a smell of stale to it.My locals butcher stated that it wasn't fresh. I was so disappointed 😞 It costs me over $200 And for them.to call me back or answer my enquiries. Surprisingly I didn't get an answer 🙃 Please be extra careful when ordering from.this website
