This is an amazing product,with great value for money.
However, the app is not available for the latest version of Android, and the rendering on a web browser from a phone is not optimal. It is a shame, since I do most of my readings while commuting/during breaks.

It would be great if their reader interface would allow you to highlight text.

I don't have all the access to the titles I want. Also, I used to get more credits - you eliminated the weekly tracker which was disappointing. And, you raised prices WAY too much - you went from $140 to $221 - a 58% increase

Hey, I'm not giving full stars despite that I love this publishing. The reason is obvious, the website and the app can always get better, and they have a long way to become really good. Considering that the book qualities are moderately high or very high, it's not surprising to see that the main focus of this publishing was on the books so far. But I think you need a moment to think of how you could make both platforms better so that users get the most out of the books. There are a few problems with sessions which don't last long when logged in with multiple devices, sessions will also end early when not active for a few days. The app doesn't have all the features of the website. So in overall, I would say I could still get a lot more from you. Cheers, Brian.

The features didn't work as expected

The features didn't work as expected. The online reader is nice though.

I submitted a support ticket and provided proof in a video, and so on of what was broken.

I haven't heard back about if it's fixed yet, but they did give me a voucher so I could access the book I was trying to use.

I love having access to all books

I love having access to all books, if I need to read up on something or part of something.

I don't have to invest in the whole book.

Don't get me wrong. I buy a lot of books but this is a great complement.

the books are easy to find and now also marked as already purchased. some time ago i purchased some books a second time... and i got my tokens refunded. i love this system and i am happy with the markers... no more buying books twice.

SERVER CRASHING CONSTANTLY

The server where they have their videos storaged, constantly crashes. It is very anoying.

DON'T GET IT...Frequent collapse of the site

DON'T GET IT. It is a terrible service; it has good content but frequently you are not able to access it due to it frequents collapse, like the page is saturated, especially at afternoons/evenings. I am currently on a dispute about the subscription access, and even when I have cancelled the subscription. Seeing the issues express on the reviews, I better contact my bank. It is incredible that being a tech resources site, the site infrastructure is so bad. PLEASE get something else it better for your mental energy

During purchase "internal server error" and no book

I tried to purchase and download a PDF book but kept receiving "internal server error" and couldn´t get my download. I ve blocked my credit card immediately.

Do Not Use Packthub!! Worst Experience

one of the the worst experience, their customer service is poor, further you can't even cancel the subscription due to bad request error (/api/subscriptions/users/me/cancellations 400 (Bad Request), customer service doesn't even try to help! Use oreilly it might cost you 20$ extra however better service and graet content

Grent content, shocking website, use O'Reilly instead

I used Packtpub years back and it was painful then. I just tried the free trial again and it's so much worse. And new device I login on it tells me to pay for the books on anything I lookup. I try again later and it's a lottery as to whether it works or not. For a website that specialises in serving books to explain how to make good IT content it's really quite embarrassing.

Thankfully their authors are better than the people build their website, if you can live with often things just not working and not getting what you pay for, all good really. Obviously some books are better than others, but some are really good.

Overall, go to O'Reilly, it's a real no brainer to pay the extra, you get all these guys content and much more and none of the incompetency of Packtpub.

Dont use Packt Publishing

I have been an on/off subscriber to Packt Publishing since 2019 and never had any issues, but the last trial deal is not working and i can't cancel the subscription for some reason and they wont let me update my creditcard information. I have tried reaching out to their support several times and they for some wierd reason won't help. I think i may end up calling my bank to stop them charging me and get them flagged for the future. I can NOT recommend them anymore
