Paid £9.99 for nothing. cannot even log in. valuation is a joke, half the price they are selling for on all sites, I want a full refund for this scam!!. How about you find me a like for like car for the price you have come up with . It is a complete joke because you will not be able to and you know it.

On checking with our helpdesk, we can see you’ve not made contact with us in order to investigate the claim.
Parker’s data is based around professional trade valuers CAP/HPi and having a car that’s only 50% of the deemed value would be highly unusual. It’s akin to having a £40,000 vehicle showing as only £20,000.
We can see you’ve only used the free valuation tool so any valuation obtained would need to be mileage and option adjusted in order to reflect an accurate valuation.
You also don’t mention the source of your valuation so it can’t be compared against anything.
Unfortunately, we have no details about the vehicle involved so can’t comment specifically but normally the data will match CAP/HPi fairly closely. There is one caveat in that we don’t value classics as this is a speciality area which is mentioned on the valuations Q&A page.

Custom valuation doesn’t seem worthwhile
Custom valuation seems like a waste of money over the free option.
I am considering buying a used Mazda which has three options packs plus paint. The options make a big difference to the used car prices. Parker’s however only has an option for different types of paint and says it doesn’t include options that make no difference to the price. I’d be inclined to stick to the free version

Hi - thanks for the review. We value 'Options' based on the experience you'd expect to get when visiting a dealership.
We can see option prices that the 'trade' also see and base our pricing around these figures so you don't get a surprise when the trade value your vehicle.
Unfortunately, there's a big misconception in the consumer world that all options add value. After a few years many options don't add any value with the majority just making a car easier to sell.

I was able to find out all the information and specification of the car I was considering buying by using Parker’s (and I did buy it) after being able to access information about the car, prior to buying it.

Did a vehicle valuation check and was not sure what to do with it - the valuation was presented on a badly authored webpage with adverts, it did not print out very well and there was no option to have the valuation emailed.

Printing of pages are generally controlled from your own device.
We also carry advertising from various outlets which can cause some page printing to look oddly formatted.
Our normal advice [if you get a badly formatted page] is to get a screen grab of the page [Prt Scr] which you can then save as an image [jpg or similar or PDF and then print a hard copy.

Valuable Site
I use Parkers for all manner of things related to cars. They have a wealth of information for you to make an informed choice about purchasing a car whether new or old. Plus, they have links to purchase cars within your price range. I highly recommend them

Not very user friendly.
Disappointed that I can't just scan prices to see what models and ages I might be looking at within my budget, as you used to be able to do in the printed Parkers guide. This is not very user-friendly.

Used for an up-to date & accurate valuation on car.
Also, used to check market for latest deals for Leaseed car plans for my daughter..
Resulted in taking new lease car a few weeks ago.
Emails are not too many but regular enough to read.
Simple & quick
No quarks or issues.
