We went to Bowland fell. The caravan we paid for was supposedto be gold standard but we found it to be as basic as aby caravan possible. We had many problems with staff here as nothing was open when they said it was. When we raised our concerns the staff laughed at us. After 3 days i had a confrontation with a workman who was helping to site a new caravan. We sat waiting for nearly 10 minutes for them to get the caravan in place and they never acknowleged our presence once, they could have told us what they where doing and how long it was going to take as they had seen us waiting many times bit nothing. Then when i tried to carry on one workman stood in the middle of the road so i couldnt get passes. I got out of the car to a tirent of abuse so in no uncertain terms I told him that any physical confrontation he might have been looking for would only end up in him getting hurt and got back in my car. We then got a phone call from reception telling us somebody would be coming to see us , when they did, they told me i had acted aggressively and they would have to termunate our holiday, the only aggressuon i shown was in retaliation. Anyway we agreed to leave as this was by far the worst caravan holiday we had ever had and weve had many, but only if we were given a refund for the remaining days. I was told that they couldnt give me this immediately but promised they would issue me a fefund for the remaining 4 days and that they put that in writing, which they did. Its now been over 3 weeks and we havn't recieved a refund so my wife has been in touch with park holidays uk and Bowland Fell for the last 10 days trying to sort this. Park Holudays UK have just emailed us today to say as i acted aggressively we would not be getting said refund. Yet not only did they agree on park that we would be given a refund they put it in writing, as otherwise we would not have left. I suggested on the park more than once to get the police involved as they didnt really want to listen to our side of tge story but they wouldnt entertain that idea. As of all this plus the park was such a dissapointment to us we did leave with this promise of a refund. Park holidays UK have decided to listen only to the park staff and not to refund us what they promised us. Beware Bowland fell if your used to park holidays you will be very dissapointed by this place. But i would also be very weary of booking through Park Holidays UK as they have gone against a written promise of a refund but even worse not wanted to hear our side of the story. They insist i broke the park rules as i was aggressive, but if someone starts spitting abuse in my face what am i supposed to do. We came to an arrangement that both park staff and we where happy with an actually put in writing but Park Holidays UK have decided to ignore this and not give us the agreed refund,terrible company!

We stayed in a platinum lodge at Birchington Vale and had a great time. Good accommodation, Great location and Clubhouse with the most helpful staff in Reception.

Stayed at a few Park holiday sites always clean, any problems sorted soon. Sites always clean and staff friendly unlike some other holiday companies.

We stayed in a Pod in Silver Sands. Please note there are no cooking facilities but we did have our day van with us to make cups of coffee etc. There is a chip shop and shop just around the corner. The shower room was behind the pod. The pod itself was spotless and very warm and cosy considering pets are allowed. And for £15 they supply the bedding. The beach is next to the campsite and is beautiful. The absolute highlight for us was seeing the RAF planes, such an awesome sight! The staff in reception were so welcoming and helpful. Especially the younger woman but I didn't catch her name, she was so nice. We will definitely return for a longer stay. Our little lab loved her time there too, lovely and quiet even with a number of people staying. Highly recommend.

Stayed at Stowford Farm Meadows in Devom. Excellent accommodation. Pleasant park. Well located for coastal walks and Exmoor

The customer service received at Carlton Meres reception from Lisa, Laura and Katie made my trip. The caravan was clean and comfortable with everything we needed supplied. But I left a coat behind and the reception team went above and beyond to make sure I got it back.

Lovely site with all amenities. On arrival our caravan was not quite ready but was allowed to go to it. The caravan was pleasant and quite spacious. After being there for about half an hour we noticed dark dog hair on the carpet which was the reason why we waited. We went to reception and they could not be more helpful had 2 people round who cleaned it all and also replaced a dirty oven try. Staff were amazing could not do enough for you. The clubhouse was clean and loved that dogs were allowed in the bar area. Having the chippy and co op were great just outside and would definitely stay here again...Just a shame no pet friendly lodges!! Lovely site, lovely staff and a lovely break, thank you.

Nice peaceful location,and for us oldies a good 🚌 bus stop close by on a good route 👨🏻‍🦳🧑🏻‍🦳🧑‍🦽

Nice quiet site. Good facilities and caravan itself was all we could wish for

The caravan was very clean and all the facilities were excellent. However, the dinning table was much too high for the seating which made it very difficult to eat at the table. The site rubbish bins need to be clearly labelled as it was difficult to tell where things went.
Staff were very polite and helpful and grounds were well kept.
In the mornings, it was rather annoying to be woken up by sliding van doors being opened and closed at 6.30am. A suggestion might be to put all the Sizewell workers in the same area of the site away from holiday makers.
We enjoyed our time at Carlton Meres and will visit again.

Very friendly staff

We stayed at Mersea island on a touring pitch.Site was clean and close to beech and pub.Only issue we found was toilet and shower facility a long walk away and not even on touring part of site.Overall a very nice site.

We stayed at Dawlish Warren site for 4 days earlier this month. We booked a Gold caravan for that stay and was expecting wrap around. In that respect we felt misled about the booking because this was missing. The caravan was dirty, the duvet didn’t fit the size of the bed and the shower was absolutely disgusting. We couldn’t wait to get home to shower. Found drink prices expensive! Shop prices also expensive Lovely area but we won’t be returning to this park again.

Great holiday. Nice staff, great mobile home. Everything was, as promised. It was my first time in a mobile home, but not the last.. :-)

Lovely well kept site. Caravan was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a great holiday. The only downside was no tarmac to the van so I’m thinking that it will get very muddy during bad weather and judging by the deep tyre tracks it does. Staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful , especially when we realised we’d left our towels at home. The staff explained exactly were we could go to buy new ones 🙄. Food in the restaurant was just mediocre but we ate out a couple of times but the pub / restaurant is all new and very welcoming. All in all a lovely site , near beach and central to everything. We’d definitely return

We stayed at new haven park. It was a lovely clean well equipped gold van and the park is lovely well kept and peaceful already booked to go again!!

Not child friendly and ridiculous slots for what activities there actually are

First problem was getting a caravan without parking. We had to park a fair way from the caravan. There seemed to be lots of empty caravans with parking spaces that didn't look like they were owned caravans. Caravan was very nice and comfortable and grounds nice. Only had food at the entertainment centre once, but it wasn't great. Onsite pub had problems in the kitchen so a very limited menu was available. So we ate off camp for the rest of our stay. Good location for driving to nearby attractions and towns. Didn't stay for any entertainment so can't comment.

Loved the holiday and wonderful entertainment for adults and children. The caravan was smart, beautiful and good size. Would go again

Given wrong caravan, booked one with decking, so returned to reception, got it changed.
The caravan and park, very clean and tidy. Beds uncomfortable.
Very disappointed to find the bar/ restaurant closed Tuesday and Wednesday, as we were on a Monday to Friday break, that was annoying.
Had a drink and a meal in the restaurant, barman was really friendly, despite being rushed off he's feet. Food not good, we oth had fish and chips, all batter , no fish, not very hot, so again disappointing.
The park is nearer to Settle than Skipton, beautiful scenery.

Also, had to pay for WiFi in caravan, we didn't bother.
